    Drive thru Mexican food

Sometimes you have a craving or taste for something specific yet you do not want to get out your car. Hmmmm....Who has whole pinto beans and rice? Las Cazuelas does that's who. This location is in the City of Southfield on the main city thoroughfare of Evergreen Road. It is in a plaza just south of City Hall. You must access the drive thru by going around to the back of the building to place your order. The pickup location is on the north side of the building. The service was quick and my food was hot. The pinto beans and rice were delicious!

We love Las Cazuelas for carry out; we're here all the time. We have gotten lots of things; our favorites are the wet burrito, shrimp tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas. Everything is always fresh and delicious; the rice and beans are perfectly cooked. We love having them in Southfield!

This order was delivered via door dash so my review will be on food only. I ordered a wet burrito . WET! I want to start with this info as it's super important. I have included pics of what's advertised on door dash by the restaurant versus what I received. There is some difference here. Aside from no lettuce, and no Guacamole, My wet burrito is dry!! I'm in of my pics i'm tilting the container so you can see there is absolutely no red sauce in my container. My tortilla may have been dipped in it, however a wet burrito should in fact be WET! The flavors are decent, even missing the items shown on the website. The size of the burrito is great as well. I just can't get passed the lack of red sauce as I truly wanted (and was craving) a wet burrito. Disappointed here

Delicious! I really enjoyed my experience. Fun and fabulous colorful decor. I loved the gorgeous chandelier. Excellent customer service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have a drive thru too. Carry out and delivery options available too. Affordable prices and generous portions. Daily specials too. I had the Wednesday Flauta special tonight--2 Flautas with rice and beans for only $9.00! What a great deal! I got to pick my filling and I chose potato. I loved my potato Flautas! I also enjoyed 3 Traditional chorizo tacos. The tortillas are tasty and really hold their shape. Packed full of chorizo and topped with onions and cilantro. I also received sides of two salsas and sour cream. I can't wait to go back!

This place is good for fast Mexican food. They have a drive thru window too. Everything is made in front of you. There are American or Mexican Mexican food. I have the tacos, fresh, salsa taste great with them. Friendly and fast service. I went in like 3pm so maybe that's why service was fast. Dessert is good too. Good spot in Southfield I take off one star is because I was so sleepy after I ate, usually that doesn't happen to me in Mexican food. Not sure what seasoning they been using

Very good. I ordered fish tacos with a hard shell, my daughter got mini chimichangas. Also got a churro and pineapple Agua Fresca. Was surprised by the filling in the churro, but still tasty. Agua Fresca was nice and refreshing. We were in town and took a chance primarily because they were close to our hotel and had a drive thru - good choice and we may go back tomorrow!

Mexican food !! We had beers with Miguels Sampler and Tacos Mexicanos. Chorizo and Al pastor in the cantina classics were delicious. Never eat more of those salsa&chips which makes your tummy full.

The taco salad was really good - the chimichanga was just ok (not enough meat and not crunchy). The convenience of a drive thru is nice - and I will definitely come back if I'm craving a taco salad. I will pass on the chimichanga though.

We were looking for quick, delicious, authentic Mexican takeout and we found the perfect place. Las Cazuelas is conveniently located near 696 and the lodge making it easily accessible! We placed an order online and it was ready less than 10 mins later for curbside pickup. They also have a drive thru- but I'm not sure about timing for that. My boyfriend and I each for the Cazuela tacos.Since it was our first time, we figured we couldn't go wrong with a namesake dish. Boy it did NOT disappoint. I got the shredded chicken (pictured below) and he got the beef. They are house made tortillas that are rolled and deep fried . Served with toppings! rice and your choice of beans!! The salsas were also delicious and tasted homemade. The best part--The dinners were each less than $10! I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu in the future!! Tip- for Covid sake- you must order online for pickup or drive thru only. You can't go inside to order currently!

Food here was excellent and tasted so fresh. Grilled shrimp tacos and the rice and beans were made perfectly. The red salsa on the side adds a lightness and freshness to the tacos and has no acidic or preservative flavor in it! Perfect little authentic Mexican spot that I'll be frequenting more often for sure. I def recommend the grilled corn tacos and rice and refried beans. The interior decor is adorable and so festive. Love it.

Amazing traditional food. Chips are incredible. Hot salsa spicy. Wish they still had their potato flautas.

From the doubled up corn tortillas, to the tender well cooked meat, cilantro and their wonderful sautéed onions these Street style Taco's are as authentic as anything you would get in Mexico. The gratis house chips and Salsa were equally tasty and a nice complement to the Taco's all being washed down with a sugar cane based Mexican coke. The total bill came in at a very reasonable cost of $12 which is a great value in today's economy and a great deal by any standard. Relative to staff and facility, this appears to be a small family run business where the restaurant itself is located in a small strip mall at the corner of Franklin and Square Lake Rd with an equally small footprint for the restaurant. This is a very unpretentious business (think hole in a wall but in a nice way) with a limited number of dining tables and small staff. Having said that, I had no problem in getting seated and getting my order taken and food brought out in fairly quick order! I have been on a kick for a while now trying to find the best taco joint in the the northern Oakland county area and have to say this is as good as I have come across up to now and am a big fan of this business. If you are into well made authentic Mexican street taco's than this is a must visit for you. This was my first visit here and definately will not be my last where I will be combining this dining venue with my regular Bloomfield Hills Costco trips which is a Quarter mile from the restaurant.

I've…read morebeen coming here for over five years, and at this point, it is one of the only places I'll go when I want tacos because everything else tends to leave me wondering why I didn't just come here in the first place. The tacos are every bit as good as people say and the environment is clean and relaxed, they usually have some good music playing too. Authentic, flavorful, consistent, and made with care. But the birria is the real star for me. Hands down, it is the best birria I've had anywhere in Metro Detroit. Rich, tender, packed with flavor, and exactly the kind of thing you think about again later like it owes you money. The owner is also genuinely one of the sweetest people. He remembered my order after only a few visits, and that kind of personal touch makes the place feel even more special. I usually stick with my Mexican Coke, but I love that they have their liquor license now, because a margarita or Corona with the food is a very solid upgrade. I've brought a bunch of people here and sent a whole handful of others, and everyone has said the same thing. It is some of the best Mexican food they've ever had. One of my friends even said it was better than what he had in California and Mexico, which is a bold statement, but Que Pasa can handle bold statements. Que Pasa is not just good for the area, it is the standard I compare everyone else to. Which is probably unfair to everyone else, but here we are.

We love Oaxaca (Troy), but thought we'd try out Que Pasa as well, while we were in the area. Oaxaca…read morereigns as local best in our opinion! Things that worked at Que Pasa: the margaritas were excellent, and all the food we tried (tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas) were very good too. Things that need work: there was definitely a language barrier ordering and requesting that they bill our three families separately. They were using a handheld machine for orders and it took three times going over our order before it was finally put in correctly. Although we asked for bills separated, we wound up with one bill, which was too tricky to split up the way they had entered everything, so we paid for everything and had to figure out $ later. Not a major deal, just a nuisance. Also, no AC and the seating was the type of wood that needs shellacking since the shine has worn off and it's sticky. You leave feeling sweaty and sticky, and that's not the way you want to feel on a hot day.
