It's hard to find a Mexican snack bar open at 6 AM, especially with an open liquor bar! In Spain,…read moreyes, but not in America. What a surprise to find one in Wenatchee! Bomb Burrito serves breakfast till noon, and maybe later if you ask nicely. At 1:30PM, Emily the hostess talked the cook into making Huevos Rancheros for me. Emily is full time, most of the time--what a sweetheart. I caught her off guard with a photo, told her she'd be in the New York Times tomorrow. She joked with me, but nothing short of excellent service with 12 other customers there (even past lunchtime). The Huevos Rancheros got its bold flavor from the garnishes, herbs, spices and salsa. The beans, rice, tortillas and eggs were very basic--it was the add-ons that brought the entrée to life. It made an excellent presentation without flames coming out my ears. Instead, a comfortable, happy tummy. (See the pics!) The whole facility and furnishings are new and spotless, especially the restrooms. Choose high tables and stools, low tables and chairs, or sit at the bar--there's always an LED screen TV in view. The menu options cover all the basics, and of course, burritos are the featured item. Bomb Burrito has been here a little more than 2 years--they've reached full stride and earned their 5-Stars *...open 7 days for 14 hrs *...menu and drink variety *...fresh ingredients *...modern, clean facilities *...and service from Emily! --=={ }==--

Decent food, just not $75 (after tip) good.... Waitresses are friendly…read more There's so many other great Mexican options in Wenatchee (and we spend a lot less)- maybe a good grab and go single lunch spot but probably won't be back for a couples dinner.

Let's start with service- server didn't seem happy to be there, not sure why cause it didn't seem…read morelike they had to clean much. Place was quite dirty, food or crumbs on floor. Food- 2 Gyros lamb and beef. All toppings. Nothing special seemed like the regular sandwich. Didn't come with anything extra, we did ask for water but never received any. Our order? $33.84 including tip. After asking about other drinks and what was behind the restaurant he said he could get beer, the friend didn't drink beer so offered Margs. $23.45-including another tip!!! Margs were tart. Sandwich was tasty and filling but for 2 gyro and 2 margs in a little dive$56 including a tip was not worth my money. It's a no for me.

The Döner Haus is pretty literally a "Hole in the Wall" (see pic). We ordered on line for delivery…read more(or we would never have noticed this place). We ordered the: - Belgian Dürüm Wrap (5s) - Bacon-Mushroom Döner (4s) - Feta (French) Fries (3s) The Belgian Dürüm Wrap was the star of the show--fresh ingredients with lots of crunch in each bite, nicely wrapped so as not to spill or leak. The Bacon-Mushroom Döner was a sandwich with enough sauce to leak all over. The flavor was complex and fresh, and all the food groups were represented. But there wasn't a distinguishing flavor-forward identity. It was a vegetable sandwich with bacon. I'm not complaining, it was good. But the wrapping did not keep ingredients and sauce from falling out on my clothing. Still, I give it the benefit of the doubt. The FFF (Feta French Fries) were the biggest challenge for me because: [Hot Fries+Cold Garnish=Cold Fries]. Maybe this combination is popular in Germany or Turkey, I wouldn't think it's popular in the US. I could have finished it, but chose not to. I'm looking forward next time to the more traditional menu items, like the Turkish Rice dishes.
