This place was ok. I ordered lunch size chicken fajitas. Loads of veggies, chicken breast - the dish was heavy on veg, light on the chicken - and very good flavors. Randy ordered chili rellano and he said it was ok. Not as bad as the first place we went to in the area but not as good as our place back home. The chips were warm and thin and we loved that. We started out with one server and he seemed to be the only one of those and then he disappeared. A woman came out and finished us up about twenty minutes later. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Wenatchee. Yelp has once again steered us right. Restaurant interior is clean with amble natural lighting. We were immediate greeted by our server with water and menus. Within 3 minutes, fresh warm tortilla chips were brought to our table along with salsa and warm bean dip. It was the best tortilla chips we ever had so they disappeared quickly. Without missing a beat, another round of chips and dips appeared. We ordered the Chile Colorado and enchilada/taco combo. Our entrees arrived promptly and both were delicious. Service was exceptional with regular water refills and check-ins. Our plates were cleared and the check was left. Everything happened just as it should. The total for the 2 entrees was less than $25 which was extremely reasonable. We spent $22 for breakfast at McDonald's earlier that day. What a surprisingly delicious Mexican restaurant! Driving back from Chelan, we needed lunch and Yelp reviews told us Agave Azul had awesome Mexican, so we stopped. Solid chips and salsa + bean dip on the house, friendly service and large portions means this will get logged as a lunch stop anytime we're in the area. Husband and I shared a margarita and we also ordered the carne asada and enchiladas. It was enough to share with our toddler and we all thought the food was great. Awesome! That's what needs to be said. The atmosphere is charming, the wait staff is so friendly and attentive. Then they start bringing in these huge plates of food. OMG! I'm not kidding when I say huge. If you don't have a lumberjack appetite, consider sharing a meal. And the never ending warm chips are wonderful. I read a bunch of reviews and they were kidding with the large portion of food. I was already 50% full with their chips. Their chips came with salsa and bean dip, which were delicious. I got their Tres Amigos which included chile colorado, chile verde and chile relleno, served with rice and beans. Huge portion of the dish and I like the fact that I get to sample variety of dishes in one. The chile verde was my favorite in terms of flavor but a bit too salty. Chile relleno was good but too heavy on the cheese for me. The chile colorado where the beef was on the dry side and sauce needs more seasoning. My husband and I just spent $36 for lunch. He ordered a chili relleno and I got the pollo asado. My chicken was the size and shape of a cheap frozen patty. I didn't want beans so they gave me a tiny skiff of rice and a wannabe spoon of sour cream. They charged $15.25! Every other mexican restaurant puts twice the amount of food on their lunch plates...for the same price! It's not so much the quantity of food as it is the price FOR the quantity. Hubby's lunch failed in taste...it had none. I'm disappointed, this used to be good. You need to adjust your prices if you're going to cut back on size and quality. My first time there I ordered the fish tacos. Big Mistake! The fish was actually frozen fish sticks chopped up into small pieces, and it was cold! The sauce was "sweet", like thousand island from a bottle. I complained to the server and she said they actually do use frozen fish sticks. Atmosphere, service, quality of food, drinks were all delicious. The bar clientele were friendly, some local, some repeat customers who were in town for a short time. All friendly and welcoming. Best Mexican food I have had in over 20 Years! I read previous reviews and decided to give it a try. I walked in and placed a to go order. I asked if I could also get chips, salsa and guacamole. They said they will give us chips and salsa. The chips are homemade- light and crunchy. They gave us a full oversized brown lunch sack- complimentary. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and ground beef taco. They made the ground beef taco last and boxed it separately so that it should be hot and not soggy from the other food. This weekend we were staying in Cashmere and so was on the hunt for a nearby restaurant for dinner. There is plenty of free parking near Agave Azul. Complimentary chips with salsa and warm bean dip were served, and both were excellent. As someone who doesn't care for beans, the dip was creamy and tasty. We ordered a Cadillac Margarita and it wasn't too sweet. There were so many items that sounded good that I ordered the Choose 3 platter with all ground beef: enchiladas, tostada, and taco (hard shell). The ground beef was saucy. Would recommend eating the tostado first because the plate and food is so hot, that if you eat it last (like I did) it will probably be a bit soft. My husband order Steak Picado and wow, it was flavortown in the mouth with some heat. It came with corn tortillas. I've only been to Cashmere a few times to dine and this is my first visit here. Typical Mexican restaurant, I like the layout. Food is good, I had the chicken en mole, portion is good for being lunch prices, I've never had chicken breast strips in mole, I'm more used to having a pull piece of chicken( drumstick, full breast). The chicken was a bit dry but the sauce made up for it. It was a sweet chocolate mole, rice was also a bit dry but beans make up for it. I feel like a lot of Mexican plates are pre-made and re heated on the oven or microwave there for drying up the food. (Food was super hot when it arrived at the table). This dish also comes with tortillas. I got three in the basket. Not enough for me, and they could of been heated better. Service was good, food came out super quick. When I go to a Mexican full-service restaurant for the first time, I always order Chile verde. I love the dish, but it's also a test. If the restaurant can't get that right, they probably can't get much else right and I'm probably not coming back. Well, Agave Azul passed with flying colors! It is not an exaggeration to say their Chile verde is the best I've had in Washington, hands down. The sauce is on the thicker side with a succulent, almost muddled texture unlike the thin, watery soup that accompanies inferior dishes. The taste was perfect, with the green chiles shining through, and tender bits of pork throughout. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating of our extra large group of 13 for lunch. From what I could tell, my family members enjoyed their meals as well. I highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in Cashmere, and I'm definitely going to stop again to check out their cantina. read more

This is our go to Mexican. The Asada Monterey with the large bacon wrapped shrimp is my absolute favorite. Before the meal you get a great warm bean dip and salsa with your chips and a variety of beers. My wife loves their chicken fajitas burrito and it's huge.
