Bean dip with the chips. Kids loved it. I did too.

Cute mexican on the downtown strip in cashmere. Worth the two minute drive in off hwy 2. Friendly and helpful staff. Fash service. Brush up on your Spanish tho. Heavy accents made me pay close attention. All the food was good to great...nothing blew me away but solid to great somewhere. Kids demolished all their food and my picky wife likes her tortilla soup. See.the photos and their descriptions. Go

Staff and service were quick and polite. Food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and had a Mexican theme. Would definitely return.

    Nice interior

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Wenatchee. Yelp has once again steered us right. Restaurant interior is clean with amble natural lighting. We were immediate greeted by our server with water and menus. Within 3 minutes, fresh warm tortilla chips were brought to our table along with salsa and warm bean dip. It was the best tortilla chips we ever had so they disappeared quickly. Without missing a beat, another round of chips and dips appeared. We ordered the Chile Colorado and enchilada/taco combo. Our entrees arrived promptly and both were delicious. Service was exceptional with regular water refills and check-ins. Our plates were cleared and the check was left. Everything happened just as it should. The total for the 2 entrees was less than $25 which was extremely reasonable. We spent $22 for breakfast at McDonald's earlier that day. Highly recommend Agave Azul, a great restaurant in Cashmere!

    Lunch sized chicken fajitas

This place was ok. I ordered lunch size chicken fajitas. Loads of veggies, chicken breast - the dish was heavy on veg, light on the chicken - and very good flavors. Randy ordered chili rellano and he said it was ok. Not as bad as the first place we went to in the area but not as good as our place back home. The chips were warm and thin and we loved that. We started out with one server and he seemed to be the only one of those and then he disappeared. A woman came out and finished us up about twenty minutes later. Probably wouldn't go back until we've exhausted all local places lol.

Awesome! That's what needs to be said. The atmosphere is charming, the wait staff is so friendly and attentive. Then they start bringing in these huge plates of food. OMG! I'm not kidding when I say huge. If you don't have a lumberjack appetite, consider sharing a meal. And the never ending warm chips are wonderful. They serve the normal hot/spicy red dip, but also a warm bean dip with the chips that is great. We had 4 different meals and all of them were wonderful. Thank you thank you for a wonderful time. You made us feel so welcome.

    Tres Amigos

I read a bunch of reviews and they were kidding with the large portion of food. I was already 50% full with their chips. Their chips came with salsa and bean dip, which were delicious. I got their Tres Amigos which included chile colorado, chile verde and chile relleno, served with rice and beans. Huge portion of the dish and I like the fact that I get to sample variety of dishes in one. The chile verde was my favorite in terms of flavor but a bit too salty. Chile relleno was good but too heavy on the cheese for me. The chile colorado where the beef was on the dry side and sauce needs more seasoning. The rice was light and fluffy but too salty.

The enchilada (roja) sauce is basted on the enchiladas before cooking them--the flavor is deeper, richer, more rustic. I had them, they are a generous proportion and delicious! Chicken Enchiladas are shown and priced on the menu, but a barbacoa-style chopped beef is an option. If you like beef, you'll love this slower roasted choice. It cost a little more but worth so much more. The beans and rice are standard. Chips and salsa are extra. But see the attached menus--there are many options. The main salon is a family-style dining area with booths and a line of stools at a counter (bldg used to be a soda and ice-cream shop). The seating is comfortable and the ambiance is quiet. The rear of the restaurant is a full bar area with a huge television, plenty of seating, and a sports bar atmosphere. - Tecate 12 oz is $4.95. - American beers are 3.89 Yes, they have specialty drinks like Micheladas (the Mexican beer version of a Bloody Mary). The main attraction is clearly--quality food at affordable prices...all-in-all, a 4-Star experience.

Our server, Catherine, was asking for our drink orders moments after we'd taken our seats. And the abundant chips and salsa were at our table moments later. We ordered our food and it came promptly. In short, we felt the staff made sure we were taken care of, this despite the fact that the restaurant was hopping busy. What a great way to run a restaurant! Second, the food: it was excellent. We were all hungry, and each of us polished off our plates, despite generous portions. Catherine asked if we wanted boxes at the end of our meals, which set us all off laughing, since there was nary a scrap left! There were a variety of dietary restrictions, mostly gluten-free or vegetarian, and they happily accommodated. I really had a hankering for chicken tacos, which the server said they'd happily make for me, even though they weren't on the menu. And they were delicious, with a healthy portion of juicy and savory meat, loaded into homemade soft corn tortillas, which I loaded with healthy portions of their house-made salsa. So yummy! Others ordered their Tacos de Camaron (off their ample seafood menu), spinach enchiladas, vegetarian chimichangas (my girlfriend loved them), and Tacos Dorados. Plates were nearly clean when we were done, which speaks to how good the food was. I'm not sure when I'll next be in Chelan, but I can guarantee this will be my go-to when I am!

My suggestion was Mexican food, and this restaurant was right along the way... How convenient. It was middle of the afternoon, and kind of slow in the restaurant, and the service took a while to get to our table, but when they did, it was good service. Like I mentioned it was slow in the afternoon. It was quiet in the restaurant not a lot of noise, other than what was coming from the kitchen. We partook of a number of things on the menu, I always lean towards the enchiladas, my wife chose the chicken mole, and our friends had the other dishes that are in the photos, can't recall what they were. All in all, the food was quite good, and very hot, and fresh. We did partake of margaritas for the ladies, and a couple of beers for the guys. The beers were ice cold with chilled glasses, which really hit the spot after the hike. The ladies said that the margaritas were spot on as well. Well done, thank you.
