Food is ok.... Got 3 tacos rice, beans and drink.. I ended up paying over 10 bucks... Just a little pricey for a street Taco place...

I went yesterday after work, because I had seen it on my way to some friends' a few times and decided that I would try it. I ordered 3 tacos (one fajita, one tripas and one barbacoa). The tripas and barbacoa tacos were AWESOME!! The fajita was okay, but didn't care for the super smoked flavor...it almost tasted like liquid smoke. I will definitely be going back. Next time I have to try their tortas, corn in a cup and their different desserts. read more

My boyfriend lives close by so we figured we would give this place a try. We were very disappointed with this place. $30 for my boyfriend and I to eat and we ended up throwing it away. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were terrible. The sour cream sauce on top looked like old, rotten cottage cheese, no cheddar cheese on anything either. The enchiladas were soggy and had no flavor. The beans were ok. There were little black pieces of something in the chicken, no idea what it was. The rice stuck together, was not seasoned, and tasted like white or Asian rice. We ordered a side hard beef taco and got a soggy corn tortilla with shredded beef on it, no cheese. They actually asked if we wanted our chips fresh or not when ordering. We won't ever go back. read more

Service is good, the place is clean and inexpensive. Probably the best place around for authentic mexican food.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, the hot sauce is on point and I always order quesadillas when I go there, love the place.

I was VERY disappointed that they chose to close yesterday for Immigrants day. My family was also immigrants but came here legally, learned the language and worked for everything they had. Such a shame that they would disrespect everyone that did this and worked hard. I took my business to an Italian restaurant (also immigrants) and they were very happy and appreciated our business that day. I guess this restaurant no longer needs my American business. If you do not like it here - go home is all I can say. read more

This is my one of my favorite places to get tacos. The green verde sauce is really good. The salsa is made fresh daily and it's delicious. Sometimes, it can be really spicy. The chicken quesidilla is also a favorite of mine. The owner is really Friendly and is one of the reasons why I am a loyal customer. read more

This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. We got the beef tacos and breakfast burritos. Everything was so fresh and so cheap. Fed two of us for 20$! The sauces they gave you, what are those!?! Amazing. The customer service was also awesome, they leave you alone and dont try to talk and check on you the whole time. Those ladies are doing a wonderful job! read more

I honestly think that this place is ridiculous. Yea, okay the food is good and everything but the owner, as well as the staff, are so rude and inattentive. First, they did not give us the menu, so we had to get up and get the menu ourselves. The water was also not served to us, even after we asked for it three times. The bigger problem arose with the prices of the avocado. The menu clearly says that the avocados are $0.25 a slice. However, by the time of check out, they were ringing up $0.50 a slice. I honestly do not care about how much the avocados are priced, but I think that they need to be clear about the prices that they post on the menu. So I brought up this issue with Daisy, the owner, and she told me that the prices of avocados have gone up and she needed to take an increase to keep up with market prices. So then I told her that the menu should be changed but she cut me off by saying that the prices fluctuate too often for her to keep the menu updated. While most restaurants will just apologize and charge me $0.75, she continued to yell at me about how unreasonable I was being and that I was never allowed to come back to this place, even though I was really only suggesting they update their menu. read more

One of my favorite quick lunch stops. It's not much from the outside, being in a strip map near a gas station, but they tend to busy which is why I tried them. Very good street tacos as well as cane sugar cokes. read more

This placed just opened up right by by house, so my husband stopped by after work for some take out. They have a $1.25 taco special, so he ordered us each three tacos and an order of beans and rice to split. He ordered us each a fajita beef taco, fajita chicken taco, and a barbacoa taco. They were all VERY good... tasted very much like Taco Diner. We both thought the fajita beef was the best. The white corn toritallas were really, as well as the beans and rice. It came with two little containers of salsa, which were both SUPER spicy. We will definately be picking up again! read more

This place is seriously awesome!!! I come here nearly every day. They have a very wide variety of choices. My favorite are the mexican tortas. They have lots of meat choices that taste really fresh and traditional. They even let you call in and place an order if you're in a hurry! ya'll should come check it out!!! read more

Not at all pleased with our dinning experience. From the synthetic cheese nachos ($.99 cents at any gas station) to the items missing from the order. The tacos were ok but not good enough to warrant dealing with the other issues. The price was very high considering the quality of the food we received. We order a peice of tres leches cake that was not in the bag when we got home. We called them to let them know and since we did not want to drive back over there to pick it up we asked that it be credited back. The service was neither freindly nor helpful and we have still not received the credit for the cake. We wont be back! read more

I went for the first time this morning because my favorite breakfast burrito place was closed. No one was there at all. Under the breakfast menu was "meat burritos". I asked what was in it. Well she basically ran down a list of meat choices in Spanish. I asked "no does it have like eggs and beans etc?" She shrugged her shoulders and said "sure". I don't think she had any idea what I was saying. I said just give me the chicken breakfast burrito and a Mexican coke. it was $5.50! The "burrito" was half the size at my favorite place and it consisted of refried beans and chopped up fajita meat which was dry! The green sauce is way too spicy for this spicy loving girl. I may try it one more time for regular tacos but as of now it's not my first stop in the morning. read more

Honestly, I felt just like the previous comments based on the fact that it was a new business and located 2 blocks from where I work. BUT...I believe that Daisy went into business with COUNTING THE COST!!! Now, they won't even make coffee for their customers! She charges for everything extra!!! Her son runs the counter when she is not there and he is ridiculously inexperienced. This business should not be catered to the Hispanic culture only but catered to anyone who enjoys the type of food she serves. I am so disappointed because I loved it before but a customer driven business should satisfy their customers and Las Daisy's is failing tremendously!!!!! read more

It was a bit "on and off' when it first opened early this year. However, they've got it together and it's the best "traditional" Mexican Restaurant in the area. Nothing fancy inside (pretty plain Jane) but clean. Seems most folks like myself order for take out. I haven't found anything on the menu yet that really disappoints. Barbacoa is awesome as well as the Tacos with Fajita Steak. Plenty of onions, lime, and cilantro on the side to season it up just like you want it. Hope business is doing good as it's obviously a close knit family run business that really strives to satisfy their customers. read more

I was excited to see a new Taqueria in the neighborhood (Trinity/360). Went in on Sunday morning to get breakfast for myself and two friends. Wanted a pound of barbacoa with fixings, tortillas and beans, simple enough so I thought. Well the barbacoa was around $10, the beans were not sold family style so they would run around $2 per side order and then extra for the tortillas. After adding it all up it would have run me around $18 before taxes. Decided to go around the corner to Taco Cabana. Got their pound of barbacoa which includes all the fixings, about 10 tortillas, and family style order of beans all for $11.90 out the door. Taco Cabana does a respectable barbacoa and excellent beans with freshly made tortillas. In defense of Las Daisy's, I still have not tasted their food so it may be the bomb. I just couldn't justify spending $18 at a new place for a $12 meal so I decided to stick with the familiar. They do have the $1.25 taco special so I will go back and check them out again when I am by myself. The lunch menu seems to be a bit on the pricey side for a neighborhood taqueria but as I said above, they may be the bomb! I sure hope so because I really want them to do well.
