I got off work late and had a hankering for drunken noodles. Not wanting to show up right before closing, I hopped on Yelp to find somewhere open after 9 and found Zaap. It is in Glade Parks and is a cute little shop by the movie theater. It was easy to order online, and was ready when I showed up. They were still doing big business at 8:30, but the restaurant was clean and tidy. I picked up my take out and boogied on home. I got the beef drunken noodles and the take out container was full. The veggies were really good and still had a bite, the noodles were torn and shaggy, but cooked perfectly. However it wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, but I thought it BERY sweet. Sweeter than I prefer. And the beef was ground beef, which I thought strange. I won't be ordering this again, but I may come back to try out some of their Lao dishes. read more

My wife wanted to get Thai food and saw this place was rated pretty high, and we were also going to target so made a stop here for lunch. It was kinda empty when we went and the food was prepared fairly quick. They have different staples of Lao and Thai food. I typically get paid Thai, but wanted to get something different since I always get that. Instead I got drunken noodles and the wife ended up getting a chicken udon style lao dish. The reason I ended up giving this place 3 stars is that for two items the bill was about +30 bucks. And the portion size was fairly small. I don't think it was worth the priced we paid. However, I will admit the food was tasty. The drunken noodles was packed full of flavor. And the chicken udon was simple but smoothing during the cold weather. I just wished we got more food or if the price was a bit cheaper, I'd give it four stars. This place is entirely self service. The only thing they do is bring the food to your table... So I guess it was nice that no tip was required. I don't know if I'll be back. read more

I've ordered the drunken noodle (Pad Kee Mao) several times now and the flavor is great. The only issue is the saltiness (and price) which they were accommodating with. I just have to keep reducing sauce but the flavor is one of the best I've had for drunken noodle. Their flat wide noodle texture is also just right- not too soft/soggy, chewy without tough. (I don't know if you've been to other Thai restaurants that have soggy noodles that are thin instead of wide, but this wide is way better!) Keep in mind their PKM is made with minced meat whatever you choose. Love the basil flavors. Restaurant is your typical comfortable and decorative. read more

Here's the run down of food we tried. *Crispy veggie rolls (5/10) *Crab cream cheese rolls (6/10) *Thai style papaya salad-mild (10/10 would do a medium spice level next time) *Tom Kha w/ chicken-mild & side of jasmine rice (10/10) *Crispy Zaap wings (10/10) *Pork pad Thai (10/10) 16 oz Dr. Pepper All of this ran $70.30. Take into consideration that you will have multiple meals or feed multiple people and I think it's worth it! On a normal basis we would not have ordered so much food but we were excited to try a few different things. The atmosphere is cozy and bright with natural wood accents to add warmth. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to your table. There was plenty of seating options, complimentary ice cold water (it was actually very good water), and all the utensils & napkins for your meal. The customer service was excellent! We were greeted and helped at the register quickly. You can make your food spice level whatever you like. I appreciate that because I like a little heat but not THAI heat! Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a pad thai and zaap combo that comes with a side of rice and their papaya salad. At the rec of the guy there, I got the zaap wings which were super crispy and good but I think the riblets would've paired better with my rice. I also got to try their papaya salad, laotian style and it was soooo good. The spice was getting to me but couldn't stop eating it! The pad thai was also excellent! Noodles were cooked perfectly and had plenty of sauce although maybe a bit too much. My fiancé thought it was a little too salty towards the end of his meal but we would definitely order again. Not a lot of patrons inside the restaurant at 2pm but we saw several to go orders! Overall, really good food and they have so many options - I just don't have the space to eat it all! read more

Zaap has officially opened their 10th location, and it's no surprise why they're growing so quickly! I've been to three of their locations so far, and each one has delivered consistently excellent food and service. The chicken noodle soup is warm and savory, the yellow curry is perfectly sweet and full of flavor, the Pad Thai is always a favorite, and the mango sticky rice with extra cream is spot on every time. Beyond the food, the staff always go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcomed and taken care of. The street food options are impressive and easy to browse and order from the overhead panel. We tried a few dishes, and everything was delicious. Heard they opened this location near by and I've been wanting to try it! In this area we literally have a Thai restaurant on every corner so I was excited to see what the new hype of Zaap Kitchen was. I order the Drunken Noodles spice 5 & the Fried Wrapped Shrimp. Total around $25 The service was great! Greeted when I walked in and out for my Togo order. The ambiance was GREATTTT! Loved the decor and the vibes were definitely nice. It was super clean and very bright. I loved the little touches of culture they added to the shelves. The Beef Drunken Noodles were 6/10. The flavor was really good and veggies were perfectly cooked but the 5 spice level for me was NOT SPICY even after I added the chili oil. & the beef was pretty much non existent. They must use the larb beef in here bc it was like little bits of beef so it was such a tease. I checked the other locations to see if i was just missing beef but no that's just how they prepare this plate. If i didn't have such of an array of other Thai places around to compare drunken noodles from id probably rate it higher. But overall it was okay bc for $15 I'd like some meat atleast lol Shrimp Wrapped Rolls were 7/10 crispy but they were really seasoned and little sweet. So it'll be perfect for my kids The sweet and sour sauce it came with was very watery and not what I expected.. Overall the place is great for a quick lunch or dinner. The other meals look great so I would come back to over and try other things to review. But drunken noodles and shrimp wrapped rolls from here was a no go for me personally. read more

The food here is always delicious. Like... consistently good in a way that's hard to find. I usually don't care for pork at all, but their Nam Khao completely changed my mind. The crispy coconut crunch is unreal, and the flavor is bold without being overwhelming. It's easily one of my favorite dishes I've had here. The Laotian fried rice is also excellent, and the desserts never disappoint. I'll be honest, it is on the pricier side for the portion sizes. It was close to $60 for a soup, salad, and fried rice. That said, the flavor keeps me coming back. There aren't many places around that deliver this level of authentic taste, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The owner is incredibly kind, and the interior is beautifully designed. The only downside was ordering. I tried calling ahead, but the phone said it was unavailable, and the website wouldn't show the Euless location as available to order from. I ended up having to order in person, which was inconvenient since I was on a time crunch. Overall, still a place I'll happily return to for the food alone. read more

0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Visiting from out of town and staying at the Aloft. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and love Thai food so we were excited to find this place. I ordered a shrimp pad see ew and then stepped aside for my husband to order and pay. Before I walked away the girl who took my order advised that shrimp would be an additional $3, I told her I had no problem with that. When the order came out she brought two of what my husband had ordered, one with shrimp. When I brought it to her attention she said asked me if I wanted them to remake it -- I was confused. I advised I wanted them to make what I had ordered which was not what she had brought. She took the food away and then returned to say that she had gone over the order with me and confirmed it so that was that. I was baffled because I know what I ordered and even asked her if she remembered that I ordered pad see ew and not pad Thai. With tears in her eyes she said yes but I confirmed what she had incorrectly put in which I do not recall. We asked for a manager who was extraordinarily unhelpful, unkind and unyielding. We spent over $70 on dinner and they wouldn't make a mistake that their own employee made right?!!! Absolute insanity. Take my advice and take your money somewhere else. read more
