Las dalias comes highly recommended. We love this place - they have great food, reasonable prices, and a comfortable environment. We're especially pleased that this is a family owned and operated business that takes great pride in what they do. The chicken enchiladas are fabulous. The food here is relatively good... but the miscommunication and attitude of some of the people on the phone makes us not want to order here anymore. So the first time we went to eat here, it was a good experience(pre covid times). The second time we ordered pick up, they forgot some of our food items and still charged us for it... asked if we would drive back but with the snow conditions outside, we didn't feel like it. So they said they would comp us next time... the third time, we ordered over the phone and asked for the items that were missing to be added without charge. But when we looked at the receipt, looks like they charged us yet again for the items... so we never got the items but got charged for it again AND they charged us for items that we had canceled when we called two minutes after ordering. The guy gave my friend ordering an attitude that made her feel like she was bothering him too. No one wants to feel like that when they're trying to give others business. Prob won't order from here again, with the bad experience of multiple times getting ripped off on food AND price charge for items we never received two separate times... and the bad attitude on top pretty much solidifies it... which is too bad, bc we really are trying to support small businesses in these sad times. read more

Two of us stop by to have dinner. We were quickly seated and served chips and salsa. The chips are nothing special the salsa served with them is very good. My dining partner ordered the steak fajitas and I had the Burrito de pollo (chicken). The food arrived quickly. I know the Burrito de pollo comes smothered in green chile sauce. The Burrito had very little chicken in it and was literally sunk in sauce....it was more like soup. The green chile sauce is good but just way too much on the Burrito...btw no cheese or sour cream was included as it's supposed to. I wanted to get some extra sides to complement the burrito soup but we never saw the waiter again until he brought us our check. We came here a few days before our baby was due hoping to coax him out with a little spicy food, and although the meal failed to deliver our child, it was good food and our waiter was really cool. He had about 10 tables all at once so he was quick with his service, but after our meal we chatted with him for a few minutes and it was a nice way to end the meal. We will be back! read more

It's a good/typical local Mexican joint, clean, parking lot seemed sketchy. Food was good, cost wasn't bad. Servers were running around a couple of them smiled and were friendly. Was seated promptly on a Tuesday night. Salsa was more like a sauce, than a chuncky tomato salsa with cilantro. Took some time to get my second drink and check. So good local joint, but not a destination for out of town travelers. Domestic Draft beer was $2-$2.50, mexian style import bottles were $3.25. $1.99 margarita was mainly ice, not a great flavor, but didn't try the house and nicer versions. Would agree with Brad H, not sure it's super authentic, but fairly typical. read more

great value! definitely a mom-n-pap feel (as preferred) I had us on a time schedule, as this was our second choice after a failed attempt at dining elsewhere. this place should have been our first choice. place is nothing much to look at from the outside. sitting in a small strip mall and being completely dead at 3 PM on a Saturday, we almost reconsidered going in. we asked to be seated at the bar, however, the bar was literally same height as the bar stools. not wanting to lean over at 85 degree angle to eat, we quickly requested a table instead. the server apologized and said that the bar area is set for a remodel soon. not sure when this remodel is set to happen, so if you are looking for a bar experience you may want to pass here. we were quickly moved to a table right in front of the bar. my GF and I each ordered the $5 margarita that was advertised on the daily special board. drinks arrived quickly along with the standard chips & salsa. salsa was a bit runny, so I requested a side of pico de gallo (which I don't even believe I was charged for). the menu stated that they charge $1.50 for extra chip baskets, which is more than fair. customers shouldn't be filling up on free tortilla chips anyway. this is a business, so they need to SELL food. not a big tortilla chip fan anyway, so 1 complimentary basket was more than enough for us. I ordered the (2) pork chop special and my GF ordered Tamale (a la carte), which still came with rice/salad on the side. it was still way more food than we needed, and we ended up with leftovers. our bill came to under $30, $10 of which was margaritas. even though it was 3 PM, not sure why we were the only customers in this place. if in the area again, I would definitely return here for a quick bite. read more

Great little Mexican restaurant. It is hidden behind King Soopers, but worth exploring. Great food, fast service and the margaritas are great. Even on a busy night, we've never waited longer than 10 minutes. Recently tried them for breakfast and their breakfast burritos are huge, and delicious. Wow! Had a combo plate last night. The chili relleno looked like a small egg roll and tasted like it came from bottom of grandmas freezer. New cook messed up on my order. Chicken taco tasted like the chicken has been uncovered for days. The beans on the bean Tostada had no flavor. Last time I came I rated it 4 stars! I wanted to prove to my wife that this Mexican Restaurant rocks! I was so wrong. Service was ok. Waitress laughed and my egg roll comment and said that is why I would get two of the chili rellenos. My wife was also dissatisfied with her smothered burrito. Guess we will stick with another favorite Mexican restaurant about 2 miles south of wadsworth. I'm nothing if not a man of my word. I said on my initial review that Las Dalias was "pretty close" to four stars and made three suggestions that would get them there. Well, they've addressed two of the three - close enough - Las Dalias really is a legitimate four stars. We went on Cinco de Mayo and they were very busy. Still, our service was outstanding. And very friendly - they make you feel like valued guests. The food was served piping hot and was delicious. They have three levels of heat on their green chili - if you don't like spicy hot, go with the mild because the medium still has a nice bite. But alas, I still have one bone of contention - charging for refills on chips and salsa. It t was chintzy when I wrote my initial review, it's still chintzy, it will always be chintzy. Saving 25 cents worth of product just isn't worth irritating a grumpy old guy like me. read more

Again... another sad experience with Mexican food in Denver :(. I am not sure why this place got great reviews either. I ordered their queso dip and it had to have been made out of Velveeta cheese. It was horrible. However, the main dishes were not bad... not great... but OK. You could smell the liquor in my mom's margarita from across the table... which, in my opinion, is a positive but it depends on who you talk to. My mom is not huge on heavy liquor drinks so she wasn't quite as happy as I would have been. The staff was attentive enough, but they could definitely work on their service skills; very short to the point of rude. All in all... the food was OK and better than a couple of other Mexican restaurants I have been to so far... but that isn't saying much. Do NOT order their queso dip. read more

All-around excellent family-owned Mexican food restaurant. Having grown up around some pretty awesome Mexican food, I usually find Denver's choices to be somewhat lacking. Most Mexican places here all taste the same. Las Dalias stands out above the crowd. The meats are well seasoned and well prepared. The vegetables are fresh. The green chili is dynamite, and when they say, "Hot," they actually mean it (unlike most other local places). Even their salsa has a pretty nice kick to it. Additionally, carne asada isn't very common in Denver, but not only does Las Dalias have it, but they do it well. It's tender and flavorful (rather than the dry stuff I've had elsewhere around town). Not only is the food here great, but the margaritas are potent, and the staff is friendly and inviting. We've never been treated poorly. Even when it's obvious that they're having a rough day, they still offer a smile and friendly service. Since the first time we came here (about a year and a half ago), we've been coming back at least once a week. They have never disappointed. read more

HOT green Chili and friendly staff. Las Delias is a nice Mexican restaurant that has good food and drinks. But, the star of the show is the hot green chili. Please don't order it assuming I have a weak mouth, I eat tons of hot food and this stuff is the real deal hotness. I am by no means saying it's the best in town but its good and it is definitely hot. Don't worry you weak mouthed Mexican food lovers, they also have medium and mild green chilis as well. I eat here almost once a week. If you are a fan of HOT green chili with a lot of flavor, then this is the place to go. This is authentic Mexican food and it all starts with the salsa and green chili. I usually get a smothered beef and bean burrito along with a enchilada and taco. My friends really like the carne asada smothered burrito which I also enjoy. I'm giving it 2 stars because the staff is very good. We were seated promptly with chips and salsa (the salsa has a good kick so if you don't like spicy don't eat this). We missed the lunch specials that were placed at the inside end of both. Ordered queso and should've read other reviews first. Queso is DEFINITELY watered down velveeta. But then what's not watered down here? The refried beans definitely were. Pretty sure rice was Uncle Bens instant rice. The tacos had very little to no flavor. Good thing there was salt at the table and I'm not one to add salt. I even poured the watered down velveeta on my tacos just to have some flavor. But again the staff was very good! Food was ok and came out quickly. But--we were not exactly welcomed in. Had to wait for several staff members to ignore us before one finally seated us. No on ever came to offer us drinks. Then we waited quite a while for someone to approach to take our order. We ordered food and then had to ask for our drinks (the waiter never asked if we wanted anything). The woman wiping tables and filling ice bins glared at everyone as she went by. So...can't really recommend this place when there are so many great Mexican restaurants close by. read more
