Great cakes, all the classic Cuban pastries, and pastelitos and croquetas to die for (or from?)…read more What a way to go! I came here because more than a few people told me about their guava pastelitos. Let me just say, not all guava pastelitos are created equally! You get that after having one of their perfectly flaky and sweet guava pastries. They've been worked on by traditional bakers who know what they're doing. This also extended to the guava and cheese and cheese only pastelitos. So addicting. They'll ruin you for any other. This is a dive in a tiny strip mall with limited parking. There's no seating inside, so it's strictly grab-and-go. They're very efficient and nice.

Croquetas are my favorite here. Everything else it's just average and typical Cuban bakery stuff…read more The staff is quick to attend but getting good service is a flip of a coin. Sometimes great, others not very pleasant. This looks and feels like any Hialeah bakery that needs some TLC since it looks like it's stuck in 1998. Parking is terrible and sometimes dangerous because people driving on West 4th Ave confuse it with the Daytona 500 race track. But it's worth it for the croquetas. Here is a pro tip: croquetas are $1. But 25 party croquetas is around $8 as of this writing. But you get so much more for your money. If that's too much for you, just share them with friends or family...

I found both. I enjoyed some of their baked goods and admittedly two of their caffeinated beverages which hit the spot. The first one was so good. I actually ended up ordering the second one for the road. Customer service was on point this place located in small plaza so I was able to park right in front which was a nice little convenience I was greater as soon as I walked in with very little weight, and the staff was bilingual. I love unexpectedly, going to places like this with zero expectations and then walking out pleasantly surprised that everything was well beyond what I deem is normal. The food is delicious and in hindsight, I should've ordered one of those cheese breads to go, but I will make sure to do that next time I'm there.

Everything from the genuine tasting empanadas to the freshly baked pastries, the flavors are deliciously amazing. The staff is absolutely delightful, friendly, fun, and very attentive. The prices are great, which usually results with a larger bag of goodies for me to take home. I definitely recommend this place over and over again.
