We went to this "hole in the wall" restaurant based upon its excellent reviews and we were all extremely pleased with our selections and with our waiter. In fact it was the best and most interesting Mexican food we have had in many years. The "Fish Friday" fish tacos, the Enchiladas Suizas and the Alambres Al Pastor were all excellent. First time visiting and last time visiting. Yelpers had given good reviews, so that was the basis of our decision to try this place. We walked in and waited a few minutes to be seated. No biggie. All went downhill from there. Small dining area, three waiters/waitresses working that I saw. Once seated, we were never given menus or drinks after waiting for a while. We helped ourselves to menus and had to ask for waters. We also took the time to place our child's order and request chips when the water was brought to our table. Once again, sat there forever waiting on chips and our order to be taken. After we had been in this place for a total of 30 minutes without our order being taken, we decided to leave. We asked for the child's order and chips to be canceled, but it hadn't even been placed yet. Glad we left! Food was great! Young gentleman at the counter (I went inside and placed my take-out) was very helpful and explained many of the different items on their menu. I had asked if they had any specials off menu, to my surprise he said they had just finished making fresh tamales. They were the best tamale I've ever had by far! read more

Honestly skip this joint. I come in town once every 3 months for work and I try to hit different places each time. YELP is normally my friend, this time I was lied to. The taco pastor was unbelievably chewy and full of fat, the tortillas seemed near raw. The side of rice I paid for (there is no dinner plate that combines rice, beans and tacos) was so undercooked it was still crunchy. The beans were served so cold the 3 pieces of grated cheese put on top didn't melt when mixed in with them. Free chips and salsa though! Stopped in here today for lunch! This place is a huge upswing from the previous restaurant. We had a taste of their Mole and it was outstanding. I guess it was a family recipe that has been passed down through generations! I had chicken enchiladas with suizas sauce! The flavor was rich and awesome. The sauce was a light pink and full of flavor. This place has 1.00 off margaritas from 2;00 to 5:00. They also have nachos on special. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. Farmington is lucky to have Las Enchiladas. I've had the entire menu now and have never once had a bad meal. The flavors are rich and authentic, the dishes are perfect portions and the customer service is one of the best. This family makes you feel a part of their family when in their restaurant and will do whatever they need to in order for you to have a good meal. The house margaritas are tasty and the chorizo and al pastor tacos can't come out fast enough. Churros for dessert with the vanilla ice cream is the perfect cap to a home cooked meal from these guys. We ate here for the first time today. The menu has variety and even offered a good selection for kids. I got the fish tacos, which were great and filling. Not a small portion. My husband got the Enchiladas Suizas. They were creamy and delicious (also a nice portion). The restaurant is very little, but the service was great! They were super helpful and attentive. This is not your typical big Mexican restaurant, but smaller and more of an authentic style. We will return for another visit, there is more we want to try. read more

This was my first dining out experience since the beginning of COVID. We were in the area visiting the zoo. I cannot say enough great things about my experience here. I talked so much about having margaritas on the patio of a restaurant as my first dine out experience that there was a lot to live up too. Las enchiladas was able to live up to all the hype I created, not only for my margaritas but the food was delicious. The owner was the one who greeted us and helped us throughout our experience there. He was incredibly kind and extremely helpful with meal suggestions when asked if the mole enchiladas could be made vegetarian or with a seafood option. I went with the seafood option he suggested. Delicious. I'm a huge fan of mole. This mole made it to my top two favorites. The monice hint of chocolaty velvet with just with right amount of spice to finish off the flavorful bite. Yum, perfect. I was made to feel comfortable throughout my whole patio dining experience. I will definitely make the trek out to dine here again. The food and experience was worth it. read more

Went to Los Enchiladas on a Friday night. It was not busy at all took the kids with. Service was great and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit high for the atmosphere but each time we eat here I like it more and more.
