Went there on a Fri. night, the sign says "wait to be seated." but a lady that said she used to work there said "just sit down anywhere". We sat there for 5 to 10 mts. Then the same lady brought us menus for tuesday night I guess just to appease us, but another couple came in, sat down, and she came out immediately with menus and said "What are we drinking?" This little restaurant is in our town. We've been in here a number of times our kids absolutely love it and we find that the food is always fairly consistent and good. They have a good happy hour they also have great family specials that rotate throughout the week. They do one night that is a Mexican night I find the Mexican just OK. They do other nights with family service type meals. It comes out with family bowl of mashed potatoes, corn or beans, anything that you would like served as a family. You have your choice of chicken fish or ribs and it's all you can eat so you can mix-and-match all evening long the food is good. I think the real jewel here however is there breakfast, they do a great bloody Mary and Mamosa and their breakfasts are truly to die for. If you find yourself in Farmington and you're looking for a good place to eat I would recommend stopping at Longbranch downtown Farmington. read more

I have been to this place for breakfast a dozen times in the past year and it is consistantly a great breakfast! The Bloody Mary's are a great consistency with hints of lime and a beef broth base. Highly recommend the pork chop breakfast which is flavorful and juicy. Go early on Sundays if you want to hear great stories from the locals who are a staple. Breakfast review. This place is great for breakfast. They give you a good amount of hashbrowns that are perfect. Crispy on the outside and hot buttery on the inside. Crab Benedict is surprisingly awesome. Omelet tes are large and always good. Pancakes are great. I have been going here for years and have never had a bad breakfast. Coffee is pretty standard but it's always fresh. Atmosphere. They just remodelled. Installed TVs. Very clean and cozy. One of our favorite places. Price. Very good deal. I have only had the pleasure of eating here once, but what I had was fantastic. The food was fresh served quickly. And the biscuits and gravy is the best I've had since moving to the Minnesota. Walk on through the bar to the back. There's a dining room back there. Most of the selections are your typical bar food--burgers, onion rings, soups, nachos, etc. Stick with this rather than the "dinner" selections and you'll be fine. The deep fried mushrooms and cauliflower are EXCELLENT. My favorite pick here, and we've eaten here about a half dozen times. read more

I have to say this place was packed for fish fry. The salad was very good with spring greens, very fresh. I had the broiled fish, very good, seasoned nicely and perfectly done. Yummy. I ate lunch on a Saturday here. I had a Beef filled Chimichanga that was Delicious! Serving size was mucho grande. The service was a little dry. On a Saturday, they had a sufficient number of servers, though they were cordial, their attentiveness was limited. Maybe just an "off" day. The restaurant is need of some updates, kinda messy for a restaurant at these prices. The atmosphere suffers from an identity crisis... is it a bar or a restaurant? Messy like a bar, high price decent food like a restaurant. I have eaten here only twice. Second time had an evening special burger and fries, which was a let down. The fries were terrible, didn't eat them. The burger was ordinary 1/4# bar burger. Nothing special for the price paid. I would probably check out some of the other local restaurants. Farmington Steak House is just a few doors down and makes a great Gyro! (Greek owners) Except the Gyros, generally, the food is good for the price paid. Not expensive. read more

I think it was for burgers and cold soggy fries and then they wouldn't fix or remove anything from the bill I don't expect a free lunch but I would at least like a Good Lunch when I'm paying for it! Not bad if you have the time - but a BIG blunder for Valentine's Night 2014. They asked for reservations (we had a party of 7) and arrived earlier than our requested reservation time of 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, it seems they don't understand the concept of the word "reservation" as it was past 7:15 PM BEFORE we were even seated. Took a while to order drinks, even longer to order food, and obviously longer yet for the food to be prepared and served. This IS NOT an issue - except it was supposed to be a "reservation" - but management wanted to put the blame on their "regular" fish night customers - several of whom were seated without the wait due to few numbers in their party (instead of ganging tables) for those who did make the recommended reservations! Won't go into further detail, you can read more on their Facebook page, but they have been definitely removed from any future "special" family nights for us! Would have given ZERO stars if possible - but we (eventually) did get our food. read more

Great place to eat. I have eat here for breakfast many times after Sunday church at st Michaels. They have been great for service, sometimes a bit on the slow side which works great after church on Sunday's. Also their daily special of steak is an excellent way for lunch. I forget what it's called but always fills me up and is an excellent noon meal. read more

The last bloody mary I ordered here came with pieces of solidified beef fat clumps in it. I asked the server for a new drink. I could hear the bartender loudly complaining to her that he had to remake the drink as apparently he couldn't make it any differently than the first one. Turns out they add their own beef broth to the drink, which may add flavor, but is not very appealing unless they can figure out a way to skim off the fat before they add it. When we first arrived we waited to be seated for about 2 mins which was not a big deal. We started off with some onion rings which were ok a bit on the greasy side but they are onion rings. I ordered the 9oz sirloin with American fries, a salad with a tea. My girlfriend ordered the half lb "broasted chicken", a salad, baked potato and a tea. We received our salads right away and they were good. Then I received my steak with the baked potato my girlfriend ordered. (not a big deal) Our waitress then brought out the "broasted chicken" that my girl friend ordered. I have eaten at allot of places across the country and have worked in many kitchens and never seen or heard of the term "broasted chicken" and ether had she. She did not want a half lb of "fried chicken" and wanted grilled chicken. It would be helpful to put terms on your menu that the customer is going to know and if you are going to put the term "broasted" on your menu put a little caption letting people know what it is. It was a misunderstanding I get it but, what made matters worse was the crappy attitude our 20 something bitch waitress had since we first sat down to when we left. She charged us an extra $4.00 and rang everything up separately but took the "broasted chicken" off our bill. When you ask the waitress "What is in the dinner salad?" and they reply with "Well salad!" No shit... great thanks for the attitude! My food was ok but not worth the money. Our bill was $41.00 with a Mexican Fried Ice Cream that was very rich but tasty. All and all because of the service we received we will not be back ever to eat at this place.
