Just a heads up before you go, there is no seating. It's a standing-room-only setup with barrel tables throughout the outdoor space. You order from one of the trucks, find a place to stand, and enjoy your food. The atmosphere felt lively and authentic, making it part of the experience. Service: Service was quick and efficient despite the crowd. There was even someone helping direct parking, which made arriving and finding a spot much easier. Food: The complimentary consommé completely stole the show for me. It was rich, flavorful, and packed with chunks of seafood. Every bite had a deep, savory flavor with just the right amount of spice. It was honestly my favorite thing we tried. We ordered the Gobernador, the Negrita, and fish tacos. The Gobernador was loaded with shrimp and melted cheese, creating the perfect combination of rich, savory seafood flavor. The shrimp tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked perfectly. The Negrita was another standout, piled high with shrimp, sliced avocado, and topped with an oyster that added even more fresh ocean flavor. It was served with tostadas on the side, and every bite was packed with bold seasoning, fresh seafood, and great texture. The fish taco was good and made with fresh ingredients. My bf and I are big foodies and have eaten a lot of fish tacos over the years, so we're probably tougher critics than most. While it wasn't our favorite item of the meal, it was still enjoyable, and the Gobernador and Negrita were the clear standouts for us. While the prices are a little higher, the quality, freshness, and portion sizes help justify it. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. They do need to update their menu and pricing, it's sort of all over the place. Everything is cooked to order so it takes a minute to get your food but it comes out piping hot every time. They have a decent sized seating area that's lit up at night. You can park pretty much anywhere after the smog shop closes. There are occasionally homeless folks sleeping around the other side of the building so I wouldn't wonder around the parking lot. Stick to the food truck and seating area and you'll be fine.

After enjoying a cold beer, I asked them to make me the Mushroom and Sausage pizza baked in a red and black wood fire oven. The pizza cost $12. The pizza was quite excellent at many levels. First of all, I was very pleased with the sauce made from organic San Marzano Tomatoes. It was light but provided a great natural mild tomato flavor. I had a great balance between sweet and acidity, both being very subtle. The pizza's sausage is made by the proprietor, Mario M., and let me tell you, he makes some grand sausage. The sausage was lighter than most and not overwhelmed by herbs and seasoning. It did have a small amount of fennel seeds, but no so much that it allowed the natural pork flavor to come through nicely. The mushrooms that came with this pizza were rendered down well from baking and were tender with a good earthy flavor. The Mozzarella was fresh and the pizza came with just the right amount. I was very impressed with the pizza's crust. It was of the thinner variety but held up very well to the pizza's ingredients. Even though it was thin and had a good light crunch, it also had very good texture and where there was some sort of thickness, it had a bit of a chew.
