And to think I've wasted my time and money going to chipotle all these years when I could've been coming here for practically the same price with better quality and service? This place was a pleasant surprise. The concept is similar to chipotle where you go through a line and choose your food and toppings. That is where the similarity ends. This is one of our favorite places to stop in at. We always order the steak fajitas. As of recent they service chile rellenos....my favorite. Another favorite of mine is the horchata. Glad we drove by & saw the banner stating Lunch Specials BOGO. Very modern remodeled & bright dining room. Friendly staff sat us instantly & chips w/ salsa were placed as soon as we sat. Drinks were ordered in a minute & the food came out in about 12 minutes. They had bogo lunch specials on a Sunday! They were mostly around 9-10$ each & portions were generous. The lunch fajitas were huge. Perfectly grilled veggies & steak. My chicken burrito w/ queso was so tasty. Their quesadilla was loaded and looked amazing. Burrito bowl was huge & chicken was delish. Plenty of rice & beans on the side for all. All our food was cooked perfectly & very flavorful. Salsa was good w/ a mild kick. 4 of us ate for $25 w tax before tip. Crazy deal!! It's always nice when a restaurant has vegetarian protein options besides just beans. Huge serving size too so you can have leftovers for the next day. We stopped by the newish Las Margaritas in Avon Lake. There was no wait to get seated. All the staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Now for the food. I ordered a chimichanga which was a little more "saucey" than I prefer with some sort of cheese sauce, but overall decent. I also tried the chicken quesadilla which was good but the flavor for spices was slightly less than what I was used to. Unfortunately they do not have alcohol yet, which we were alerted of upon entering. I would love a chance to actually try what they are names for. We will come back once the margs are available. Being from Arizona, we love the food at Las Margaritas! It reminds us of home, minus the late night hours They are generous with the protein, unlike most food establishments. My tacos were LOADED with shrimp. I was also excited to see that they serve Elote! It was so good! I'm a pescatarian, so it's nice to see that they have vegan chorizo for if I want a basic taco. I saw in another review that the beans are not vegan, so I'll be avoiding those. I hope during the holidays they will release more varieties of tamales like green chili and cheese. We try to come like 2 times a month. There are a TON of Mexican restaurants we can eat at near home, but we choose a 20 min drive for more than one reason. Their service for starter is always GREAT! They're friendly and welcoming! Its very clean inside! Even the bathrooms were super clean! We have tried several different items on the menu and it NEVER disappoints ! Fantastic food! This place is amazing. The menu has everything you can want; the potions are large, and the prices are reasonable. We tried the street tacos, vegetarian burrito, rice and beans, and guacamole. Bill was $40 before tip Tacos had great flavor and overstuffed. The burrito was just as good if not better. Since moving back, finally found a very good huevos rancheros along with pastor tacos along with Horchata!!! Next time going to ask if they can crisp up the pastor and be perfect!! I ordered the fajitas from the catering menu for a large group. The order was being packed as we arrived for pick-up which to me was a good thing...nice and fresh. Service was awesome: food put on a cart and helped to load in the car. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the amount of food was very generous. Wow. I'm from out of state. I so wish we had this place at home. Had the Ohio Steak... people... you had better be hungry! I'm 275& 6-1 tall. I ate a 1/3 of this. Recommend to split with someone. The new type of service is wonderful! it used to be a sit down restaurant but now they are rocking the homemade chipotle type vibe! The food was decent, service was friendly and super efficient, and the decor is really very nice, especially for a Mexican restaurant where decor tends to be a little tacky at most. Sort of a "Mexican chic" feel for decor. I had no complaints at all. The buy one, get one deal can't be beat so I wonder how long that will continue. Checked out this place last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Picked up takeout, the service was quick and easy. Restaurant had been nicely renovated from the former BK. Ordered enchiladas sante fe and empanadas. The enchiladas had great flavor and nice portion size. The empanadas were excellent. The order came with chips & salsa and sides of sour cream and guac. I will say not the "typical" Mexican style food found in AL, definitely a step up. Look forward to going again and trying some other meals. read more
