    Bistec A La Mexicana

Good food. Great service. Nice ambiance. Try the Mexican steak = Bistec a la mexicana so tasty. Five starts well deserved .

This place is horrible, I surly would never come here again after the experience I had. First of all the servers were extremely rude kinda like a sassy teenager. Second the food wasn't good for the price. Third I found a staple in my burrito. Just the place itself it's bad. I don't recommend coming here.

It's a toss between Mexican and Americanized Mexican but very good either way. I had the tostada dinner which was beans, lettuce cheese, sour cream. You can add meat if like but depending on the region meat is optional. Ask for hot sauce. They dapple with sour cream. You will love the salsa. It is excellent, very chunky with onion, cilantro and tomatoes. Credit card machine is from about 1995. It's very festive and brightly colored inside. Disfrutar!

My wife was in her "I want Mexican" mood, so we went to a nearby Mexican restaurant, but it was closed. So I looked on yelp for the nearest Mexican restaurant that was open and it was Las Dos Fronteras. Off we went. Upon arrival, there were only two other parties in the joint. We seated ourselves and perused the menu. Five minutes later, our server arrived with chips and salsa and took our drink orders. The chips were unevenly and overly salted - some chips had a thick layer of salt on them, making them inedible. For dinner, I ordered Mole Pablano with chicken and my wife ordered fajitas. My Mole Pablano came with two chicken drum sticks smothered in a tasty mole sauce. I found myself wanting more chicken drumsticks and better yet, a boneless skinless chicken breast. But alas, the meal was tasty. My wife's fajitas were pretty tasty too. The service, including refills was pretty slow. My wife spoke to the server in Spanish, which the server obviously preferred. At the end of the meal, a different person stopped by to ask if we needed anything else in English. We'll probably skip this establishment due to average food, service, and poor location.

Best vibe in a Mexican restaurant that I have ever had in Cleveland. Waiters were so accommodating and kind. The food was to die for! Got nearly 5 courses and it was under 40$!! Al amazing quality. Highly recommend tamales de pollo y carne asada dinner ( end the night with fried ice cream you won't regret it ;) )

Off the beaten path place recommended by a friend. This is true, authentic Mexican. Fresh ingredients, huge portions. The fried whole fish was fantastic. Service was super friendly-loved hearing the employees having a fun and lively conversation in the kitchen. Also very clean. We will be back. Please go support them.

The guacamole is flavorful and has a nice citrus zing. The server was such a sweet girl and I think I have a crush on her now. The owner Adrian is a gentleman. He ensures the dining experience is a great one and asks patrons if they are satisfied. He is originally from Chicago and ran a banquet hall there. I am thankful that he landed in Cleveland. The food here cannot be missed. I recommend Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Pollo tacos. Next time you are craving tacos and want to head to La Plaza, come to Las Dos Fronteras and see what you have been missing.

Situated in the back of a Latin American grocery store, this hole-in-the wall restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have had on this side of the border. I ordered the Carnitas a la Verde-- the meat was slightly crispy on the outside, exquisitely tender, with all the fat well rendered, impact with flavor. I would drive across the city for this dish alone, and no other carnitas I've eaten have ever come close. The corn tortillas that come with it are also phenomenal; I can't remember the last time I ate ones this authentic. Additionally, the rice and beans, as well as the chips and salsa, were all good. The restaurant was clean and surprisingly spacious. Service was polite and prompt. Las Americas is easily on my short lists of best restaurants in Cleveland, and best Mexican food anywhere. If you want authentic Mexican or Peruvian food, look no further than Las Americas.

All the patrons seemed to be regulars and of Latin American decent, which is a great sign of authenticity! The ceviche was fresh, and I loved my dish. However, the food comes out sporadically (app came after some entr es, and one entree was about 10min after the middle ones). Servers are a bit hard to find/flag down, but they are friendly. The meats were a tad overcooked but the flavors were good. The portions are big. I would return!

We discovered Amigos a couple years ago, when seating was very limited, but they recently expanded and the decor is more inviting and authentic. We've tried a lot of things on this menu and have never been disappointed. Our food has always been fresh and plentiful, served with a smile. Two things I can ecstatically recommend: their house guacamole and their margaritas. Their hearty and bold guacamole is made fresh to order right at your table and it's become our favorite guacamole. We love their mango margaritas. We have found chunks of mango in ours, and make certain to always get the rims coated with tajin because they use tamarind to get the spice to stick to the rim--so tasty! This is a really enjoyable restaurant we always look forward to visiting!

The ambiance was relaxing and we got the nice cozy booth at end of the bar ordered the Taco's with a side of rice and beans and a few margaritas. The food was delicious and we had a damn good time, but what really impressed us was the incredible service. Our server Dan was literally amazing, highly attentive and made us feel at home. I don't think I have ever had better service in my life. After that experience we said we had to come back again. So, we did. We came back to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday on a Friday. To our surprise the place was packed and busy. Since they don't do reservations we knew for sure we wouldn't get our cozy booth and the service would be no where near as good as it was last time. I was pleasantly surprised. As we enter the packed restaurant, a man came up to us with such a positive and friendly attitude and told us about the wait time and that he would add us to the list. While we waited we ordered margaritas and talked further with the man. This man turned out to be the Owner of Momocho, Eric. This guy is one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet. He gave us a few of his delicious recipes he created, told us about his restaurant, and remarked on how great his incredible staff is, especially Dan. After the wait, Eric escorted us to the top floor, and to our surprise he put us at the "Chef's table". We had front row seats to watching the Amazing Chef's cook. Chef Manny was fantastic, watching him work, talking with him, and answering our questions about the different dishes made are experience that much more enjoyable. He took our orders: "Little Tacos" we got the Pollo, Machaca, Side of rice, Barbacoa with a fried egg and a flight of Margaritas. Everything was insanely good. The Margaritas are very tasty definitely recommend. At the end of our meal Dan personally delivered my girlfriend one of their delicious "Chocobomba" desserts with a candle in it, and Sang happy birthday with me. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it. I want to sincerely thank Eric, Dan, and Manny for the incredible experience, and for making my girl friend's birthday a memorable and special one. Also wanted to toss in here that it was fantastic seeing one of my favorite servers from the now closed restaurant "Xinji" working on the Momocho team. Shout out to Jack.
