    62. Seafood Chipotle (I think).

Food as always was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and patient. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. However, $9 for a kid's hotdog that looked old and shriveled is a little excessive. Fortunately, the 5 year old didn't care.

Everything displayed here conforms to stereotypes, and I'm guessing it's a spokesperson or some kind of publicity for Cuervo (Gold)

Eating in NEO exurbia - 1 of 2 Most people have imagery of Mexican restaurants in their heads before they go. It's going to be stucco on the outside, appear dimmed down on the inside, have nooks and crannies, and feature gaudy wall art. This Mexican restaurant - Fiesta Jalapeños - isn't much at all like that and that's part of the reason I like it. I went in with a good friend who lives one community over, where it's more of a corporate suburb. Fiesta Jalapeños is right over the county line to the west, where intermittent cornfields eventually begin to appear. It sits in a medium sized strip mall with some typical chain tenants and takes up a big spot on its end. I had a combination platter and my friend had several enchiladas. Their chips, which are good, keep coming and, for me, their salsa is just right. I liked all the items in my combination, but my friend who is native to this area was more critical of the food. This is my review, so it's going to reflect my point of view. The service was very amicable, the prices were right, and, with it being fairly crowded, they periodically checked in on us. I took note that they had lunch specials served within a window of time and which differ by each day of the week. I noticed that, on Thursdays, they had an enchilada-burrito or something similar, so I went back. The lunch price made for a good value. I really liked this filling dish and all its ingredients, which were robust in flavor. I added a soft drink to this and it was an excellent lunch. It goes without saying that they have a Taco Tuesday, so I also made a trip for that. So far, it's probably sounding like 4 stars, but I'll continue. Because it's in a strip mall that has a higher roof, they left the structure exposed and took the ceiling up higher. There are big windows all around. This is probably the airiest Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. To one side, there is a bar and a slightly different crowd (dudes and dudettes) will go in there to drink, take their meals at pub height, socialize, and/or watch televised sports. They have an outdoor terrace at their disposal, which is attached to the bar and visible from the parking lot. With all the main items dialed, their inviting interior takes Fiesta Jalapeños up to 5 stars. There are a few things to note. First and foremost, if a combination is featured with certain ingredients or it's Taco Tuesday, it will have those ingredients. If it isn't specific, it may default to ground beef. I would have difficulty eating Mexican food in its large "envelopes" that would be filled with ground beef, so you need to specify which filling you want. Second, they have a lot of imagery of Cantinflas. This is a Hispanic actor/comedian of yesteryear who went by one name, sort of like Charo. My childhood friend's Cuban father would laugh and say, "Ay, si, Cantinflas." I guess you had to be there. Lastly, with the change of a zip code and crossing the county line, you've moved into a very different area. This metro area spreads east-west along Lake Erie without too much southerly critical mass and, in the process, goes from the undulating topography of the top end of Appalachia in the east to fairly true to form Midwest, and cornfields, as you go to the west. I was told that some locals call this area North Ridgetucky, just like L.A.'s 909 suburb of Fontana is jokingly known as Fontucky. One doesn't need to take a poll to get an accurate feel for the political leanings of the patronage out this way and I probably would not want to break bread with them (nor they with me), let alone give them a "high 5," but I would to the restaurant and its crew. I recommend Fiesta Jalapeños highly. It should at least be a 4 for most folks, but, depending on what you order and prioritize in a Mexican restaurant, it could be a 5 for you as well.

Hot and spicy like me and my personality. The food, drinks, and service was more than hot and full of flavors. The unique flavors of everything will bring you in for more especially for taco Tuesday's! Thank you.

Updated decorations and menu but the margarita is still awesome. Our server was great and attentive. New paint jobs, furniture and menus. The food and margaritas were fantastic.

An oldie but a goodie right off West 117th...huge bar area, private parking lot and authentic family run Mexican. It's a west side staple worth trying or to keep coming back to. I can't help it but I tend to order one if two items, the huevos rancheros are delicious, and comforting with chips and salsa. Make sure you order a pitcher of house margaritas, not too sweet with a generous amount of tequila. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is consistently great and it's great for a crowd or two people sharing a booth...nice I want Fiesta Jalapeños.

Bueno! Bueno! Bueno! Haven't been to Fiesta Jalapeños in a while. Me and kiddo's decided to hit up Fiesta Jalapeños as our backup for the evening, and thank God we did because, they did not disappoint. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed that they had remodeled the inside and it looked very modern, clean and had a relaxing vibe to it. We were seated right away. Our waiter brought us out water and fresh made tortilla chips and salsa, right away. We ordered our a couple of appetizers ( Fresh Guacamole and Nacho's w/chicken) everybody dove right in (didn't give me a chance to take any pics) but they were good portions and the Guacamole was one the best I've had. We placed our orders and our entree's came out open hot and in a timely manner. I'll tell you the portions were HUGEMUNGUS! And WOOOOOOOOO! Deeeeelicioius. Myself I got the #39 Enchiladas Rancheras, (chicken) they were delicious, I kindve felt the chicken could've used some seasoning, but over all were very good when adding the guacamole and other sides. But I'll tell ya, the #128 Burrito Azteca and the #43 Fajitas De La Casa is where it's at ( the kids choices) they were big and smelled delicious. There was an abundance of meat, peppers and onions. Next time I will be trying one those (if not both ) . The #87 Fajita Taco Salad also was well portioned my daughter didn't was anytime crushing it ( I was impressed). So if you're feeling like Mexican and want to get some great food and plenty of it, head over to Fiesta Jalapeños and have a great experience. I know it won't be our backup choice next time, but our first choice.

Great service and good food. Prices aren't cheap though. But the annoying thing was all the flies buzzing our tables. Still a good time!

Has anyone noticed the menu is identical to the chain Si Senior?

Same ownership. Fiesta was Rogelio’s first restaurant but he started to build a brand around Si Senor, so there are a couple of that brand out there.

We stopped at Fiesta Habaneros on our way home from Kalahari, and I genuinely cannot believe this…read moreplace is sitting at a 3.6. It completely exceeded our expectations. We're a family of four and ordered totally different things -- and every single dish was exceptional. Our 6-year-old got a simple cheese quesadilla with rice. The quesadilla was perfectly fine... but the rice? She was in an actual trance. We've never seen her so focused and actually eating the food we ordered her. Parents of young grazers know that's basically a five-star review on its own. Our son ordered the ribeye and devoured it. He wasn't crazy about the rice and refried beans (he's picky about sides in general -- that says nothing about their flavor), but the steak itself was incredibly flavorful and gone in minutes. The grilled veggies on top weren't his thing either, so we brought them home and I'll be turning them into a stir fry later My husband ordered the enchiladas rancheros -- three enchiladas with three different sauces, served with rice and beans. Each sauce had its own distinct flavor profile, and all three were equally incredible. That's rare. I ordered the ahi tuna ceviche and I would drive the 2.5 hours from home just for that dish. Bright, fresh, perfectly balanced -- absolutely outstanding. Honestly not sure the leftovers are going to make it back to NY. On top of the food, the service was next level. Attentive, warm, efficient, and genuinely kind. You can tell when a place is well-managed, and this is one of them. Ambiance-wise, it was modern, clean, and comfortable. It wasn't overly busy when we were there, which made it even more enjoyable. TVs throughout, a really cool-looking bar area, and a booth that comfortably fit our family of four without feeling cramped. This is officially on our family's "must stop" list whenever we're anywhere near the area.

I honestly would not recommend this place. We went on Mothers Day so that's why I'm giving them 3…read morestars cause maybe they were just not used to being busy, but it was our first time here and we did make reservations for 6. When we first got there they seemed confused about our reservations. Once seated they didn't have enough menus for 6 of us (they only had 3), most Mexican restaurants you are in and out, super fast. We were there for three hours. We didn't get our food until an hour and half in there, it was so slow with asking for the receipt, drinks etc. We had to ask for chips and salsa which we didn't get until after they brought the drinks (waited like 40 mins for that), once the food was brought out, my moms chicken fajitas were overcooked, my dads steak fajitas were burnt. We showed the waitress and she said "sorry" but that was it. Two of us got the spicy burrito and there was barely any topping to it. If you are going for a drink that is fine but I would not go for their food as there are better Mexican restaurants in the area.
