Today, we wanted to have some Mexican Food. Last year when I was driving for DoorDash I picked up food from this location multiple times. I thought back when I was driving delivery, I needed to try it. It always smells so good in the restaurant. Today was the day! We arrived, just as the restaurant is opening up. We had a full morning of grocery shopping and decided before we went home he would try this restaurant. We walked in, the restaurant was not busy at all, and somebody came to greet us right away. We were sat on the north east corner of the restaurant. I looked around the restaurant to see the condition and everything looked very clean and I loved the tables in the restaurant each one had a different drawing with vivid colors. Our waiter came really quickly, took our drink order and food order. Right after our food order was taken the assistant came by and brought us chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and warm and the salsa was freshly made on site. It had just enough kick where it tasted really awesome and it would be good for any pallet. Took approximately 10 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered a combination plate of a hard shell with a pork verde taco and a cheese enchilada and I ordered the Carnitas Des Res. Both plates came with rice and beans. Th rice was cooked just right, it was tender and flavorful. The beans were traditional refried beans. The beans were served with a bit of cheddar cheese. My dish consisted of a Carnitas meat, sautéed with onions, green and red bell peppers. It was served with corn tortillas that had been steamed and they were tender and lovely. I love the flavor of the Carnitas It was very flavorful not hot spicy at all. I added the salsa to the meat which gave it the right amount of heat. My husband's pork verde taco same thing not too spicy. The one thing he mentioned was he felt like it needed just a little bit more verde sauce. Both meals were very good and we will definitely go back. The wait staff was very attentive, and for the food given the price seemed reasonable. For two drinks, two plates of food, chips and salsa the check came to $55 before tip. Well done!

    Carne Asada!!!

Wow! They have some of the best carne Asada here! Our service was great, the food tasted authentic, and everything seemed nice enough. We had the queso fundido and the carne asada. The carne asada had to be one of my top of all time. The queso fundido wad delicious but it was so dense that we could not finish it. We are from Seattle so it was a long drive, but if we are in the area again we will definitely stop by!!

Lamb shanks in birria. Very tender

I don't have an explanation why I've never come here before but I'll do my best to make up for it! I'd been to other Las Margaritas when I lived in King County but this one beats those (although those closed due to development). The interior belies what preconceived ideas I had from the exterior: it's so bright inside, very festive with the tables all individually painted and gorgeous art on the walls. They have a nice bar area that we'll likely sit at next time. Their salsa with chips is really flavorful and my husband even noted how fresh it tasted. I got the lamb shanks in birria sauce and it was very good, the meat just fell off the bones when I pushed my fork against it. Tender, not too fatty and not greasy. I wound up with a heap ton of leftovers, which I am not sad about! There was a children's birthday party at the same time but our service did not lack any speed or friendliness. Their menu is extensive, offering items not often seen at other Mexican restaurants. Their prices might seem a little higher than nearby Mexican restaurants but the quality and quantity is proof that they know what they're doing.

Taco soup? Baby cup of enchilada sauce more like it

Had door dash deliver taco soup for me.(love door dash) It was just horrible and disappointing. I had a headache and thought taco soup would be nice. When I got the soup it was barely a half cup. Looked like tomato soup in the bottom of the cup and it actually tasted like just enchilada sauce. Not even broth. The add ins on the side were dinky and chicken was VERY dry. Never getting food here again. I paid about 12 dollars for this baby cup of "soup"

Wow Wow Woowzzzzaaaa this place is REALLY Amazing!!!!!! From the service to the food .... Don't pass this place up , it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is Beautiful and the staff is truly amazing and beautiful as well !!!!! Thank You Las Margaritas , what an amazing first dinner in Marysville. Made our first night here very nice...

    Super nachos

Good option in Marysville. Marysville has few food options but many Mexican food options, my go to is usually La Hacienda or Playa Bonita so came a little more south this time. The place is cute. Colorful tables and chairs give authentic feel but the place is little run down. Greeted by many waiters and servers so the service and hospitality was on point. We had the super nachos with chicken for appetizers. And my fiancé has the sizzling chicken fajitas and I had the side order of tamale and side order chimichanga. His meal was hot and fresh and full of flavor. Mine ,however, the pork in the tamale was little dry and the chimichanga was watery, as though it was frozen at some point and then de thawed? We did has the fried ice cream for dessert which was so good! I have never had fried ice cream and it was a delightful end to our meal! I would say the service was on point but for price and quality I probably won't be back

This is the battered fish taco. It was cold an inedible. The fish was frozen and wasn't battered at all.

This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. All the proteins are previously frozen and not properly cooked. It was such a disappointment. We wound up throwing it all away, and ate yogurt for dinner. They should be embarrassed by their food.

The pollo definitely hit the spot. It had so much flavor. We like to have one or two places that come in clutch for street tacos. This is our go to. Getting in can be a bit tight depending on what you are driving. They have a good sized menu and you can order through the drive through. If you want to eat them fresh once you get them, they do have a few parking spots. Feel free to order in Spanish too! Also, if you need to quench your thirst they have delicious Horchata and other Agua Frescas. These are legit street tacos so if you are starving get a handful. You won't be disappointed!

They handed me what looked like a rolled up newspaper wrapped in foil but it was the burrito! Filled with carne asada, rice, beans, and guacamole it was definitely filling. I'm usually not a rice and beans in a burrito guy but this one hit the spot. I ate the whole darn thing and I'm not sorry. The prices looked reasonable in a world where you can drop over $20 on a hamburger. I shall return.

Ordered the chorizo queso and we nearly fought for the last of it- Husband got a smothered burritto and was making happy noises the whole time, I got the beef enchilladas with mole - very sweet if you're into that. Amazing service as well.

A friend of mine live here and normally we meet somewhere closer to Seattle, but this time I…read moreinsisted on coming to his zip code, when I asked him about Mexican food, he said there wasn't anything good in town and that he normally goes to Everett. I didn't buy it because I know Marysville has Las Margaritas and La Hacienda, 2 places I grew up with in Seattle and although, one left the city and the other has closed locations, I'd like to believe either can still serve a respectable plate. So, I found this place and suggested it and this is my report. $25 for lunch was a bit steep, that was just the entrée with tax and tip. No beverage or extras. Salsa was okay, could have been hotter. I aksed for something hotter, but they said they didn't have anything. Pictures showed multiple salsas and bottles of sauce, but we weren't offered any. The plate came with healthy portions of rice and beans. But the portion of Carne Asada did not impress. It also had the smaller portion of guacamole, it was like a half teaspoon, not enough to compliment the entrée. I won't drag this out. The food was pretty good, it did take some salt and pepper to really pop, but it was better than any local chain Mexican food. I will also say the service improved from cold to friendly and neither of us left hungry. Speaking of cold, there was no hot water in the restroom. I don't know why the Health Department allows this. It takes soap and hot water to wash hands. If there is no hot water, you are not a clean restaurant in my book. Still, I'd probably give this place a 3 with a point deduction for price and for not appearing to offer the same menu items previous reviews advertise. Fastest way to earn 5 stars is to increase the protein portion and put hot water in the restroom. For the record, there was a supreme Enchilada special for $12. That is very reasonable and also why I didn't hesitate to pay $18 for the Carne Asada Lunch, I just assumed, I would get the same value, but did not. This place is worth checking out, but it was also empty and I can see why. If I were back in the area, I would most likely try Las Margaritas or La Hacienda. I feel confident my dollar goes further there.

So heading north we noticed a taco stand across from one of the chain burger places. Why wife knows how much I like street tacos so it was a no brainer. There was one customer ahead of so we had time to decide Both of us chose the taco plate, they showed three different options on the menu so we asked if we could have one of each which they said sure you get beans and rice as your sides. I notice that Elotes was also available so had to have that too!! It's nice that they have a debit card reader which made payment easier. Seams like a family run stand with mom running the show with dad manning the grill, I'm guessing their daughter takes orders and handles the toll plus helping where need. Everyone was friendly the order was given to us quickly. Now they were in a parking lot I didn't notice any tables but that was ok home is close and everything was hot when we got home. Each of the three tacos was moist and nicely seasoned. The beens and rice are pretty typical fare but good! Now the Elotes was delicious a corn on the cob dipped in a savory sauce dusted with a cheese powder with a drizzle of not a hot hot sauce but it has a little zing you gotta try it! I was looking to see if this stand was on Yelp when we ordered but couldn't find anything maybe I miss spelled the name so no pictures this time, sorry but next time I'll do better! Nice to have an option like this in the lake Stevens area will definitely be back.
