This used to be my place to go for Mexican food. I knew they were a little bit more expensive than the competitors but the quality was worth it. The wait staff is also very friendly. I'm pretty sure its family owned cause Ive seen the same people working there for like the last 15 years... I feel like they recognize me at this point. I think COVID has pretty much killed this place though. What used to reasonably expensive has now turned into wallet-breaking expensive. Like... I think everything has pretty closely doubled in price in 4 years. But I think what really put the nail in the coffin for me though was receiving the transaction fee. I handed the waiter my debit card and received a receipt for 4 dollars more than the bill was. Why? Transaction fee! This was *not* a thing originally, this is definitely new. Was great, though I didn't like the tamale, I only tired it because I thought might be different here. I didn't like the tamale at the last place either. So I guess I prob don't like tamales. Today, we wanted to have some Mexican Food. Last year when I was driving for DoorDash I picked up food from this location multiple times. I thought back when I was driving delivery, I needed to try it. It always smells so good in the restaurant. Today was the day! We arrived, just as the restaurant is opening up. We had a full morning of grocery shopping and decided before we went home he would try this restaurant. We walked in, the restaurant was not busy at all, and somebody came to greet us right away. We were sat on the north east corner of the restaurant. I looked around the restaurant to see the condition and everything looked very clean and I loved the tables in the restaurant each one had a different drawing with vivid colors. Our waiter came really quickly, took our drink order and food order. Right after our food order was taken the assistant came by and brought us chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and warm and the salsa was freshly made on site. It had just enough kick where it tasted really awesome and it would be good for any pallet. Took approximately 10 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered a combination plate of a hard shell with a pork verde taco and a cheese enchilada and I ordered the Carnitas Des Res. Both plates came with rice and beans. Th rice was cooked just right, it was tender and flavorful. The beans were traditional refried beans. The beans were served with a bit of cheddar cheese. My dish consisted of a Carnitas meat, sautéed with onions, green and red bell peppers. It was served with corn tortillas that had been steamed and they were tender and lovely. I love the flavor of the Carnitas It was very flavorful not hot spicy at all. I added the salsa to the meat which gave it the right amount of heat. My husband's pork verde taco same thing not too spicy. The one thing he mentioned was he felt like it needed just a little bit more verde sauce. Both meals were very good and we will definitely go back. The wait staff was very attentive, and for the food given the price seemed reasonable. For two drinks, two plates of food, chips and salsa the check came to $55 before tip. Well done! read more

Unfortunately very disappointed at Las Margaritas today. We were sat with lunch menus at apx. 3:00. When the bill came, we were charged dinner prices. They refused to change our bill and without warning, charged us $4.95 on top of it for paying with a credit card. **Also, I agree, the food was so bland!! read more

Had lunch and were given the lunch menu and ordered our food and drinks and ate our meal while eating we had to ask for water and ask for salsa and chips 2x. We got our bill and we were charged for dinner prices and the receipt was wrong so they added $10 more dollars to wife's borito and $10 more flr my asafa and charged me $3 dollars for sour cream. Went to pay bill and another $4.95 added for paying with credit card. Been there before over 30 plus years of service to us. Just left Las Margaritas and I'm blown away--in the worst way. I ordered a bean dip and a club soda during happy hour, and somehow the bill came out to THIRTY DOLLARS. That's right--$30 for basic beans and carbonated water. They actually charged me $5 for a plain club soda, which is more than their soft drinks and even some mocktails. It's absurd. This place is a scam. They take advantage of customers however they can, even during happy hour when prices should be better--not worse. Oh, and the food? Not even close to being worth it. Bland, forgettable, and way overpriced for what you're getting. There are too many good restaurants out there to waste time or money here. Never again. read more

Wow! They have some of the best carne Asada here! Our service was great, the food tasted authentic, and everything seemed nice enough. We had the queso fundido and the carne asada. The carne asada had to be one of my top of all time. The queso fundido wad delicious but it was so dense that we could not finish it. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with 3 of my girlfriends. We ordered margaritas and an appetizer. I had to leave earlier than the rest of my group, and the food took forever, so I can't say if the food was any good. But I can say that service was slow and that my jalapeño margarita was gross. It tasted like licking the inside of a jalapeño and nothing else (not booze or marg mix)! I took two sips and the rest got thrown out. They only get a second star because they have a decent mocktail menu, but if their mocktails are anything like their cocktails, you'll be disappointed. I don't have an explanation why I've never come here before but I'll do my best to make up for it! I'd been to other Las Margaritas when I lived in King County but this one beats those (although those closed due to development). The interior belies what preconceived ideas I had from the exterior: it's so bright inside, very festive with the tables all individually painted and gorgeous art on the walls. They have a nice bar area that we'll likely sit at next time. Their salsa with chips is really flavorful and my husband even noted how fresh it tasted. I got the lamb shanks in birria sauce and it was very good, the meat just fell off the bones when I pushed my fork against it. Tender, not too fatty and not greasy. I wound up with a heap ton of leftovers, which I am not sad about! There was a children's birthday party at the same time but our service did not lack any speed or friendliness. Their menu is extensive, offering items not often seen at other Mexican restaurants. Their prices might seem a little higher than nearby Mexican restaurants but the quality and quantity is proof that they know what they're doing. read more

Good option in Marysville. Marysville has few food options but many Mexican food options, my go to is usually La Hacienda or Playa Bonita so came a little more south this time. The place is cute. Colorful tables and chairs give authentic feel but the place is little run down. Greeted by many waiters and servers so the service and hospitality was on point. We had the super nachos with chicken for appetizers. And my fiancé has the sizzling chicken fajitas and I had the side order of tamale and side order chimichanga. His meal was hot and fresh and full of flavor. Mine ,however, the pork in the tamale was little dry and the chimichanga was watery, as though it was frozen at some point and then de thawed? We did has the fried ice cream for dessert which was so good! I have never had fried ice cream and it was a delightful end to our meal! I got the two chicken enchiladas and one shredded beef taco my wife tried the chicken flautas.. we both really enjoyed the food especially the rice and beans. I enjoyed the Al Pastor tacos which I thought were really flavorful and delicious, my girlfriend had the steak street tacos and really liked them, have a great looking menu so will be back to try more. Unfortunately everything from the service to the food was an unpleasant experience. My husband had the carnitas burrito and he said he could barely eat it. The pork tasted dirty, had a lot of tendon in it and just was not flavorful. My arroz con pollo wasn't any better, the flavor just was not good at all. They brought me a bowl of just tomato soup, then on a separate plate they had cheese, 3/4 of a small chicken breast, stale tortilla strip and a quarter of a chopped of avocado.. Husband and I ate here today first and last time I ordered the taco and enchilada combo the taco it was just a shell that you would buy from a Hagan's or WinCo it wasn't a tortilla that you would Heat up or deep fry. We brought our family in for dinner and our granddaughters first birthday. There was 11 of us, eight adults and 3 little ones. I had called ahead to give a fair warning that we were coming in.  When we arrived, our table was ready, the staff was friendly and ready to serve us. I have recently realized I have food allergies and our waitress was very helpful in helping me navigate through the menu.  One of our little ones was being rather cantankerous.
