Remembering how I loved the freshness of this ice cream, we swung by here for another dessert but this time we tried their ice cream. For a large cup with 3 scoops I ordered 2 scoops of Rocky Road and a scoop of Dulce De Leche and my hubby ordered Mint, Rocky Road and chocolate with 1 scoop each.. Total with tax was around $18. The Asian gal who was training a young dude was very nice and even added another scoop on mine because she saw my cup was rarely full like the young guy did not put 3 scoops on mine.. Taste? Lovely.. Not so sweet but you can taste the flavor, the pure and freshness of the dairy they used, we really loved it.. So creamy and delightful.. When we go to Sonoma, this ice cream shop will definitely be our favorite go-to .. Price was a bit high but it was really worth it.. Crowd is pleasant and store is very very clean ..

This is more of a candy shop than a chocolate shop, with lots of options for candy, chocolates, ice cream, and souvenirs. We got ice cream, and the staff was nice enough to let us sample a few flavors. It was good, just very sweet.

Nice ice cream and candy store in the sonoma village. All the ice cream is homemade and delicious. They also have some good fudge and basically any candy you could think of. Service was rather fast. Place is small but quant, reminds me of an old school candy spot.

I liked that it did not feel like a chain and the gelato was tasty. Service staff allowed you to take many samples. The chocolate was freshly made in fact you could see it in the molds. It had a fun atmosphere and was a nice place to visit while in Sonoma.

Very friendly employees who were very knowledgeable. The ambiance is a bit overwhelming for us neurodivergent folks. There are just so many things to look at! Of all kinds. On top of that they make their own fudge. And they serve coffee and ice cream. The ice cream is sourced from local creameries and was very good. I ended up ordering an affagottò which was fabulous but the entire reason for our trip to Sonoma was to locate the most amazing cup of hot cocoa and sadly this is the area that fell short. The cocoa just needed a bit more cocoa and it could have been amazing. 7/10 recommend. Will be back to check out their retro candy offerings.

Today, happen to be a Hot Summer day. I felt like getting some Ice Cream today. Tonight, I'm in Napa again. I'm in the heart of Sonoma to get some Ice Cream at The Chocolate Cow. I like the name, it's catchy. And I really like the theme here, it's intriguing. This is located in The Mercato Plaza. It feels good to be back in Wine Country. I had to get the Cosmopolitan Sundae with Rocky Road, Cookies & Cream, Caramel flavor, Chocolate syrup, and Strawberry sauce. It looks so good, and was so awesome. I give this 4.1 stars. It's also another very solid 4.1 stars.

The chocolate cow was the only place open around the area where we were at that time! They serve ice cream, chocolate, and Knick knacks, candies for kids and grown-ups! They also sell t-shirts as souvenirs! The service was excellent! We got what we needed right away! They have seating outside for a great chat and enjoy your ice cream! I recommend!

Walking around the plaza area, we came across Choc Cow and went in for ice cream. They serve Double Rainbow and Straus brands. Hubby had a small cup of Dutch chocolate and I tried a med cup of vanilla bean, $13 for both. The vanilla was OK but not enough vanilla bean flavor. The store also sells chocolates but we didn't try. There are seats outside where you can sit to enjoy the desserts.

9 hand picked Truffles and pecan clusters of my choice! Yum!!

Went to downtown Sonoma and found The Chocolate Cow. I was warmly welcomed with my dog in tow, pleasantly surprised by everything yummy. The milk chocolate truffles, espresso, pecan clusters and so many more delicious flavors! Had to get a scoop of German chocolate ice cream that was to die for! Very clean and the line moved quickly. Cute wrapping on the box as well!

This is an old fashion deli gussied up for Sonoma. It gets busy but everyone working here is attentive and even nice. There's a ton of interesting cheeses (duh) and pasties (yum) but I come here for the coffee and Butcherman sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches which are large enough to split if you aren't a big eater. Cubano: not traditional but delicious. Ham AND pork sausage. Jack cheese and avocado. Mortadella: with pesto and burrata. Another delicious break with tradition. Even the Arnold palmer (ice tea and lemonade) is good. There are seats in the back and a few outside but I like the counter in the front window. Enjoy your food and watch the world walk by.

Years ago, this was our go-to stop in Sonoma for wine and cheese tastings, incredible sandwiches, BBQ, and browsing a lively marketplace. It always felt busy and full of energy. This visit was a completely different experience. The store felt sparse, the cheese selection was much smaller than we remembered, there were no cheese samples, and we couldn't find their own branded cheeses that we used to love. We stopped in to grab lunch on our way home. The sandwich menu is now limited, and you can no longer build your own. We ordered two sandwiches, and while they were decent, they didn't justify the high price. There is still both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, but the overall experience felt like a shadow of what made this place so special. I really miss the vibrant marketplace where people gathered to sample cheeses, pick up lunch, and enjoy everything Sonoma had to offer. Sadly, we won't be returning. With so many outstanding places to eat around Sonoma, this no longer stands out and, in our opinion, has gone downhill.

It harkens to an old timey general store but with modern vibes and artisan curated pieces at down to earth prices. Seriously, the majority of prices match to that bullseye retail shop. The other side sells living room items... furniture, throws, pillows, home decor, small art pieces, and reproduction artwork. Oh I can't forget to tell you about the outdoor art sculptures which are displayed in the back yard. The sculptures are whimsical and artsy. They carry sofas and living room pieces. The furniture is of quality and comes with prices matching that quality. I enjoy shopping for the framed reproduction paintings and home decor.
