The pool is awesome, finally open and brand new from what I heard. I have not been there for 3-4 years but I'm coming back.

The lifeguards were really sweet and it's a nice pool with decent hours for kids. My kid had an amazing time.

This pool is almost like a trap...the pool is humongous but there are way too many rules and you can barely enjoy yourself

Nice pool, cheap, and has a kiddie pool of the chlorine levels are up to par. Otherwise, it's a great community pool.

Apparently she's been working there for long time and doesn't care about the customer. There are many seniors with walkers, canes and wheels chairs and she just doesn't care about their well being. Her focus is to lock up the door as soon as the pool closes. The pool hours are still on pandemic operating hours, it closes at 2.30pm till 4pm???? Why close the pool in the middle of the day and weekend? The hours are not clearly posted on the entrance, only in fine print. The city of Chula Vista has the funds to run the facility with longer hours but don't. If the city pay lifeguards according to market rate, they can find lifeguards. The YMCA has 6 lifeguards for a pool smaller than this pool. The worst locker room, shower only drip when more than 1 person turn it on. The shower tower is the same type on public beaches, it's not acceptable in 2024. Chula Vista funding is not well spent for the general public, instead, the funding is spent on the wealthy East Lake areas!

Then we couldn't stand/sit near the outside fence because if the fire department comes.... really? I'll move our lawn chair if they come. Idk. I get regulations but you have to be reasonable for an outdoor event. And fair.... same rules for the home team and visiting would have been nice. The manager seemed to relish in her power.

From the start, he was honest, transparent, and never once used high-pressure sales tactics (which I really appreciate). His quote came in fair compared to others I received, and he took the time to really understand our needs. We needed the fence as part of the process to become resource parents for San Diego County foster youth, and Matthew was incredibly thoughtful in helping us make sure everything aligned with CA code requirements. He even encouraged us to confirm details with our social worker and was flexible when we hit a small curveball with elevation changes from a nearby step. Installation day was seamless, about 4 hours for 136 feet of 5-foot fencing, and the finished product looks amazing (pictures don't lie!). He also went above and beyond by cleaning up the area, walking us through how everything works, and making sure we felt comfortable using the gate and removable sections. What really stood out was how easy and genuine he was to work with, it felt more like talking to a friend than a vendor. Plus, the lifetime warranty is a huge bonus and something we didn't see with other companies. I highly recommend Aquaguard and Matthew if you're looking for quality work, professionalism, and someone who truly cares about getting it right.

I got a few quotes and did some research, and Matt was able to match another company's quote with no issues. Matt is awesome. He was communicative, responsive, showed up early and finished early. We are so happy we went with Matt's company and will be looking for his support with any future projects.

Let me start with the good because it's deserved…read more The renovation at this 24 Hour Fitness in Imperial Marketplace is actually really nice. The gym floor looks modern, clean, and updated. New equipment, better layout, brighter lighting...honestly, I love it. It finally feels like this gym joined the current decade, and I genuinely enjoy working out here now. HOWEVER. The sauna and steam room smell like hot gym socks that have lived through several questionable life choices. And not a subtle smell either. It's the kind of aroma that punches you in the face the second you walk in and makes you whisper, "Oh no... absolutely not." And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I witnessed a grown man SPIT in the sauna. I froze. I blinked. I questioned reality. Sir... WHAT IN THE FRESH HECK IS GOING ON HERE??? I had to leave immediately, not because of the heat, but because my soul needed a shower. Now let's talk about the pool and jacuzzi. They look... suspicious. Like science experiment energy. Cloudy water, grimy edges, and overall giving "maybe don't submerge your body here" vibes. At one point, the county health department shut them down due to lack of maintenance......and honestly, that tracks. Because the condition I've seen lately does not scream "sparkling clean oasis." Which is unfortunate, because the rest of the gym is great. The weight room? Love it. Cardio machines? Solid. But the wet areas feel like they were forgotten in a different timeline where cleaning schedules were optional. I really want to love this place fully. I do. But I shouldn't have to emotionally prepare myself before entering the sauna like I'm walking into a haunted house. And I definitely shouldn't be witnessing surprise bodily sound effects in shared spaces. Please: * Deep clean the sauna and steam room * Keep an eye on the pool and jacuzzi * Maybe add a sign that says "This is not a spittoon" because apparently that needs to be clarified Until then, I'll happily enjoy the beautifully renovated gym floor and pretend the rest of the amenities are a myth.

He drives a salvage title motorcycle and hides his plates from view (why would he do this? ) Isiah, the late-night staff member, is never at the desk during his shift. On the rare occasions he actually is, he is just chatting with females. He refuses to answer the Balboa phone at night, and when I brought it up to him, he literally told me, "I don't make enough." He completely blows off parking lot issues, and he didn't care at all when I told him members were horseplaying in the pool. On top of that, he constantly wears inappropriate, politically charged hoodies with aggressive messages on the back. For example, one reads: "I IDENTIFY AS A THREAT. MY PRONOUNS ARE TRY / ME." Is that really appropriate for a gym?
