I used to love this place but it feels like whoever owns it can't keep up with it. There hours are always random the say they open at 11 but never actually open at that time. The raspados sometimes taste like the flavoring is old or sometimes even expired . No one ever answers the phone. Great place love going when I have a sweet tooth. Today I was craving watermelon so I decided to go and I asked the young lady if the watermelon was sweet she said she didn't know. I wished she would have tried it when they first cut it. I hate eating a watermelon that isn't sweet. So I decided to get a fruit plate. I get home and to my surprise the fruit has a Chemical taste. I am sure it's the same smell you get when you walk in. So I couldn't eat the fruit. Again I love the place, but they have to be more careful with the food they serve. Love that this place is local. It's located in the small plaza right next to the swap meet. I tried the coco raspado and it was delicious! Not to sweet, flavor was surprising very good! I would of loved to try more like the watermelon loco but the down fall of this place is the are not utilizing the space very well...no where to seat comfortably. They're using a lot of space for storage and not enough for customers to seat down and stay. I will be back to try some more :) read more

The selection of the flavors for the raspados is very limited, I don't know if it was because they were getting ready to close but the flavors we got tasted disgusting. My husband wanted a raspanieve but they didn't have the flavor he wanted so he end getting a fresa raspado and straight up didn't have a good taste to it. I myself got a limon and it was too sour. Let's just say it wasn't good experience. Driving around town saw this new place and thought I try it. Ordered a raspado (shaved ice) with strawberry and vanilla flavors. The vanilla flavor was disgusting! The strawberries seem so old as if they were frozen over and over. The taste was as if I was drinking a protein drink almost medicine like. Since I was next door waiting to get a hair cut I decided to go back to try to get something different. I patiently waited in line again and nicely told the cashier I was unhappy/unsatisfied with my drink and I'd like to change it. She responded with hold on and proceeded to speak to other workers she came back with an attitude and said " we do not do that here, we can't change your drink". One of the few places are you can find all the Mexican junk food. The place is small and only a few ppl work so if you go on the weekends be ready to wait. Prices are reasonable. Since the place is so small unfortunately you can't sit there and enjoy your Raspado, it's more of at "take out" place. My boyfriend and I love raspados! So as soon as we saw this hidden place, we had to try it ! As soon we entered we were greeted by the employee, off to a good start. Thr treats here are delicious! I come here with my family at least once a week for a raspado or tostilocos and they are always so good. The wait time is sometimes a little crazy and it does take a while to get your order but it's a small family owned shop that delivers very good resonably priced treats to this community. read more

Raspados are extremely sweet, the piña raspado didn't even taste like piña it tasted like a whole bunch of sugar. The tostilocos are okay, but I would suggest to go somewhere else for good raspados. read more

I've been here a couple times and typically their service is great. Their staff is friendly and their raspados are a pretty good size for the price. However my recent trip there, the service was just a no. I went there when there were hardly any customers. I tried ordering a vanilla and tamarindo raspado and the lady behind the counter, a woman in her 40s, told me they didn't have those flavors and named the ones she did. A little disappointed but it was fine, it's what I expect in the summer. Placed my order and waited 20-25 min for my order of 2 raspados. All in the while 7 other customers (a group of 5 and a couple) got their orders before me. I tried rationalizing thinking that groups usually get attended first because, in my experience working in customer service, they tend to get easily displeased if not served fast enough, however when the couple got their raspados before me (mind you they came in 10 minutes after I did) that's when I realized that this lady completely forgot about me. She confirmed it when she asked if "I needed anything else" ummm my order??? It does not take that long to make a raspado, much less 2. I'm annoyed that it took too long to be receive my order, when it normally takes 5-7 minutes, while other people got their orders first when they came in after me. Then she had the nerve to ask if I needed anything else when I have yet to receive a single thing from my order. She didn't even apologize for forgetting my order. Do not recommend the woman in her 40s to attend you. The younger staff are much better and take more responsibility than her. read more
