Get there early. I got there at 2:00 on a Saturday and they were already closed. Once they sell out, you're out of luck. The next Saturday I went earlier and got there at 10:05 and there's already cars in front of me. The drive thru is super convenient! Lady comes to your window to ask what you want a little before the fruit stand. By the time you drive up to the fruit stand they already have your order ready to go! For bigger orders like mine, they ask you to pull up to the side. They got their system down! Love it! Don't have to speak much about the strawberries here because all other posts did they Justice. Customer service is excellent, fruit is delicious big and sweet, cash only and totally worth the drive.

Not always open (their storefront is a stand in a parking lot), but consistently good berries and not too expensive.

Ask the Community - Las Posas Berries

Does anyone know if they are still open?

Yes, The berries are at almost peaks season right now May 29, 2022. Yesterday I bought the sweetest berries I have ever eaten from Las Posas berries.

When will they be open for business this season?

Yes, Strawberries are at the peak of the season right now. May 29, 2022. Check yelp for their hours.

Did they move? A parking lot looks like it's going where the stand was.

I just bought strawberries after 2years of lockdowns. The city of Camarillo built a building right next to their property. At the same time it looks like a water drainage pipe is been built adjacent to the roadway. So they Have a car maze to speed… Read more

Whats neat about this farmers market is that it's actually local! Most of the goods are from Oxnard and not a random town thats hours away like other markets. The artisans are all pretty friendly and happy that you're there. I really enjoyed the vibe and how pleasant everyone was. Plenty of parking and a lot of vendors accept different payment methods. I recommend coming here and getting a snack if you are going on any of the local boat tours to the islands.

The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.

I suggested that we stop by, especially since I was hoping to start repopulating our air plants. Free parking very close - check. Full slate of vendors - mostly check. Air plant / succulent vendor? - Not this time. While that was a let down, there were other options to choose from, so we walked the the rows of stalls. Apparently dragon fruit is popular now. I haven't tried it, but this would be the place to do so. Also popular right now are many varieties of apples (three of my favorites were on hand from a grower in Tehachapi - Cameo, Mutsu, and Pink Lady), along with persimmons and pomegranates. If one is planning to create holiday decorations using national elements, this would be a good place to pick up fruits in red and orange bright colors. I enjoyed sampling several other types of apples with which I wasn't familiar. Prices are higher than I was expecting, and we're short on refrigerator space right now, so I kept purchases to a minimum this time. There was a line at the tamale vendor, so we didn't pick any up on this visit. The bread vendor had sky high prices, so I passed. For better deals, I've been able to go closer to closing time and received better pricing as the vendors don't want to have to pack up what they brought - they'd rather sell it at a reduced rate. Honey and jams were available, but the egg man was packing up; all sold out by 3 p.m. Many of the vendors are local, and some come even from the San Joaquin Valley, i.e., Fresno-area.

It's located in a parking lot behind the main strip and in a residential area. All street parking but it tends to be pretty easy. There's a bakery vendors that I've had a few times but they do sell out quite fast. Their fresh baked bread and sweets are one not to be missed. This visit, they weren't there in their usual section so I assume they were pretty much sold out fast. Loads of fresh organic vendors with all their goods. As it was summer, there were so many vendors with amazing tomatoes. Heirlooms, grape tomatoes and so all. Everything all looked so fresh and I'm sure it was straight from the farm that morning. Also loads of other vendors selling their homemade goods, like soap to candles to everything in between. Majority of the vendors are fresh produce so you know you'll be picking up fresh farm products. Also fresh flowers are always a must when a visiting the farmers market. Can't forget the fresh berries and fruits. Doesn't scream summer without all the fresh berries straight of the plant. Regardless what you're looking for or not, I'm sure you'll always leave with plenty of fresh things at this market. Their items are always so fresh. A must whenever I'm Ojai. I also appreciated that Centri Coffee was there so that I could buy some whole beans.
