I recommend coming here and getting a snack if you are going on any of the local boat tours to the islands.

The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.

Their apples were extra crispy and delicious, and a cut above what you get at a chain grocery store. They have well stocked fresh fruit and vegetable choices and a full selection of nuts, other unique snacks and juices as well as cold canned sodas. Although more expensive, you get what you pay for. Even better, their Underwood Ranch sriracha, and garlic chili hot sauce are locally produced and the tastiest brand out there. Both women behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. The hotel we stayed in was 5-8 minutes from this gem . I made it a point to show up early as to not have to fight crowds or parking. Parking was great and the perfect number of other people there. I walked, shopped and talked. I saw some awesome things and some things I had seen before. There was live music, old guy killing it on the guitar with a donation jar. The majority of the shops were very chill, very friendly, very happy to see a new face. And they could all tell I was from out of town, all the picture taking may have given it away. I tried the le soup's chocolate and almond croissant. It was great, the owner told me it was twice baked so it was be very flaky..messy.(this man knew what he was talking about, as it was good as it was messy) The beautiful flowers always get me going because we live in California and have such an awesome variety. I live in central CA and everything I would have purchased here would have died on the way home or when I got there. (105 temperatures are a regular thing here) The 2 places that had a line 5+ people long were the coffee shop and the fresh fish place. It's always interesting to see what people are into in different people in places are into. I will probably come back when I'm in the area again and I look forward to seeing even more great things!
