I always pass Las Trojans but just never in the mood for it when I pass. Today was the perfect day to stop in. We started off with the chips and salsa. I love the onion and cilantro in it. I had a small frozen mango margarita that was more than big enough for me. My boyfriend got the medium frozen pomegranate and watermelon margarita. It was so good! I would definitely get that next time. I got the Ricos Tacos. I loved the mixture of the queso dip with the chicken and shrimp. My boyfriend got the fajitas michoacanos with mushrooms and queso dip added. He said he would rate it a 7/10. Our waitress, Michelle was so nice and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and I would definitely come back.

Came here my youngest birthday and we had a very good time. Customer service was elite. Food was very good and they made her birthday a special event with sombrero included. We ordered the following: Texas nachos: 10/10 Fiesta plate: 10/10 I'm plates were almost identical except one had nachos but both were extremely good. The nachos added an extra flavor profile so we enjoyed both. Recommending this place.

I decided to try out this restaurant and it was worth..My first impressions : authentic vibes ..,the front desk was nice and I was seated quickly. Lots of televisions . Very spacious. The place is full of colorful things. My server was nice and helpful with the menu. Lots to choose from. Service was quick. Enjoyed the chips and salsa. They provide a generous amount of salsa and the chips are on the thicker side vs what I normally prefer on the thinner side. Plenty of drink and food options so, you will definitely find something you like within the menu. I ended up getting the Casa Brias Tacos along with a mango margarita. Both chooses were good. Will definitely be back..,

It had been a long time since I'd been here. Went on Saturday because we remembered the food and drinks to be supurb. This place was packed with large birthday and graduation parties but we were seated quickly. We were attended to quickly. And given the huge menu to review. We remembered that we loved the wings so we got lemon pepper flavor. Also got the queso and trojas dip (queso with shrimp, steak and chicken). Those wings are some of the best. The trojas dip was just queso with a few large pieces of fajita meat in it. I wasn't impressed. The plain queso was so good! The salsa is just ok. Almost like tomato puree. As for the entrees. 3 of us got birria tacos. 3 of us HATED the birria tacos! If I'd tried birria here first, I would have sworn them off for good. They were bland and over cooked. The consemme was even bad. One person sent hers back. I can't remember the name of the other entree but it was like chopped meat and peppers. It was OK. My friend and I got the Bob Marley drink. It's huge but doesn't pack a punch. At least not for me (my friend was feeling it). I'm sure this place has good strong drinks based on the crowd so I'll try something different in the future. With that said... I'll plan to return. But I'm sticking to wings and queso. This place is way too overpriced for me to waste my money trying things.

Las Trojas Cantina on Hwy 280 delivered a fun and colorful evening out. The atmosphere is big and lively -- lots of space, TVs, and definitely a place you can bring friends or family. I ordered the chimichangas: one grilled chicken, one ground beef. The chicken chimichanga was a win -- nicely seasoned, crisp shell, full filling, and the accompanying rice/beans were hot and fresh. Service was friendly. All in all, I'd go back for the chicken chimichanga and the fun vibe.

One of those quintessential go-to Mexican restaurants. Lots of drink and food options and huge dining space. Manager was nice enough to change the TVs around us to the game we wanted. The Alambres was sizzling fresh off the iron skillet. It's essentially a fajita type dish with beef, onion, peppers, cheese and a side dish of the classic rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guac. Corn tortillas over flour all day, every day. And a "medium" sized pacifico lager. The price wasn't cheap for Mexican food, but I would rather have quality Mexican food and pay a bit more for it. There is definitely a difference in quality between some Mexican restaurants.

Updated menu for steak, the place usually has good food so I figured prices would go up

The food is wonderful. The service is great! The only flaw: WAY TOO MANY TV'S!!!!!!!!!

Much better Mexican food to be had on Hwy. 280. I ordered the beef tacos, and they were absolutely terrible. Some of the worst I've had. The meat was mushy and silky in texture- something like baby food- with no flavor whatsoever. One of my dinner partners ordered a steak quesadilla, which was tasty but was $19!!! This place is WAY overpriced. My other dinner partner ordered the enchiladas special- a ton of food on the plate but just mediocre. This place is huge and was packed with people. It's way overpriced. Better to go elsewhere.

The prices for menu items are roughly 50% to 100.% higher than other local zMex. restaurants! Food is average to good.!

The jalapeño cornbread with the butter is probably one of my favorite things on the menu. Oh my goodness, it is SO good! I'm pretty sure I've even placed a to-go order before just because I wanted the jalapeño cornbread . I also love the potato tortillas they have as an appetizer. They are really, really good, and the birria tacos are great as well. I can't remember exactly what my dad ordered when we went together, but I do remember that he loved his food too. I haven't tried an entrée yet because my group usually orders a few dips to share, and they've always been a hit. That said, the dishes I've seen at other tables have looked delicious. The outdoor patio is one of my favorite features--it's a great place for people-watching, enjoying the atmosphere, and having a daytime drink. The service has been solid on every visit. Nothing extraordinary, but friendly, efficient, and with no complaints. Overall, it's a place I'd happily come back to.

Since I got take-out, I can only speak to their take-out. However, I do feel that if they can get 5-stars for take-out, then their dine-in is surely 5-stars! First of all, they took time and care in packing the take-out. I got a lunch combo and they packed the Taco and the salad separately. I love it!! Secondly, they also included salsa and chips even though it was a take-out order, which I appreciated. Service was quick. I called in my order, showed up about 10 minutes after that, paid, and my order was ready a couple of minutes later. Employees were very nice. Food was good! Still warm when I opened it up 15 minutes after pick up, which tells me they were fresh and hot when packed! Tomato and lettuce in the guacamole salad were very fresh, which isn't always the case at some restaurants. I really liked their chile relleno as it wasn't fried. Really good. I will definitely visit again!!
