Empanadas plantain and Leche on the left and on the right is yucca fritas with chicharron!

Authentic Salvadoran food in Ontario CA. The food is always delicious! The Papusas are amazing. Yucca fritas are so yummy. It was my first time trying the empanadas and I am a fan now! Give this small business some love. Come and try the delicious food here and I promise you will not be disappointed!

The pupusas were delicious! Especially the chicharron con queso ones. I also tried the platanitos which were way more expensive than the pupusas. I think I paid like $9 for them. But overall good spot if you're craving pupusas because there aren't too many places in the area!

I wanted to take my buddies to try some Salvadoran food, and I found this place on the yelp. It was very good and delicious. The price was right for the portions. Everybody was happy. I definitely want to come back. The service was really good and the music was nice to hear as well.

Definitely, in my opinion, the best pupusas in the area. They are well made, and not too greasy (I often find that many places make them with too much oil). In the picture is the Típico La Tuna plate, pupusa revuelta (chicharrón, cheese, and beans), tamal de elote, and the ensalada drink (fruits).

Friendly staff, quick service, quicker than most other pupuserias on to go orders. Great taste and value, new hidden gem!

The fish and shrimp tacos are their specialty. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Taco Tuesday is crazy busy, get here early!

The customer service stands out, I've only ever had the same guy serve us which I think might be the owner. He was busy busy but still provided good service. The decor in the restaurant is very cute and there's multiple signs letting you know that good fresh food takes time lol We ordered pupusas revueltas, tamal de pollo, a side order of casamiento, horchata and a coffee. Prices are great! I love the little bread (Madeleine) he gives each customer. I had it with my coffee and it was delicious. Again, I'm a little picky and I LOVED the horchata. The pupusas were delicious and not greasy, which is important to me. It's so hard to find good salvadorean tamales but these are solid! My boyfriend loved the casamiento. There's so many items I want to come back and try like the bistec encebollado, pupusa de queso con Loroco, sopa de res, empanada de leche and pastelito de carne. If you're debating coming here, don't, you won't regret it!

The service is so friendly and we are regulars, the owners are kind to us and our kiddos. They always have great music playing for ambiance and the quality of food is always 10/10. Everything is freshly made so do not expect for fast food speed, the wait will be so worth it! I will never go anywhere else for Salvadorian food. This is IT! Some of my favorites are the pupusas with chicharrón and cheese, zucchini cheese and garlic, the huevos rancheros, plátanos con crema , pollo en crema, and the chicharrón if you don't mind fried pork!

NOT SOAKED IN GREASE! I ordered pupusas revueltas - beans inside are a tad salty but it works with the curtido which is simple with a bit of heat from Chile flakes. The curtido has a great balance - I like that it isn't fussy and overdone but at the same time - not lacking in flavor. Typically I always have to add salt and pique - and a bit of lemon... I didn't need to add one single thing to this. It isn't the cheapest Pupuseria at 2.99 a pop (if you are into East LA 2 dollar pupusas)- but it's filling, hits the spot. You aren't coming here for an experience of dining. I personally don't care that it has a "B" - most of our kitchens would fail any inspection. But I also had the agua de melon... and yasssss it was pretty darn good. I recommend this highly when you have a specific craving for a pupusa. Note the lack of grease in the photo - that's awesome!!

You can tell the food has potential and is made with care, even if a few items could have been a little hotter or fresher. The staff was kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The service was a bit slow at times, but everyone was polite and trying their best, so it still felt like a positive environment. The restaurant has a simple, home-style feel. With a little more attention to cleanliness and updating a few areas, it could feel even more inviting. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience at all. There were some things I enjoyed, and with a few improvements this place could easily be a solid go-to spot for pupusas.
