It took me a long time to consider laser hair removal but when I finally did, I'm happy I found myself at LaserAway. I have been undergoing treatments for a year now and the progress in hair reduction has been phenomenal. However, let me say - progress is not always linear. There were times I felt my hair growing back thicker and darker than it was before I started my treatments, but learned soon after that that was a part of naturally occurring hormonal fluctuations in the body. Also, if you're lucky enough to get Leanne as your technician, just know you're in good hands. She's such an attentive technician and very thorough. Although my treatments are really short (5 min max) she always talked to me about factors I wouldn't have thought about regarding my skin and hair growth. I love this Laser Away location in Chandler. Everyone here has been amazing and super friendly. I'm always greeted by name and with a smile from the ladies. Gina is so nice and always gives you a compliment when you walk in. Natasha is my girl who always takes care of me. She calls and reminds me that it's time to come back in and do some touchups and she also suggests new procedures for me to try. She is so sweet. I love her! I am always well taken care of by the staff there. Yesterday Nicole, who's the RN helped me with my botox. She's so knowledgable and I love that she lets me know where she feels the treatment will work best. She walks me through it step by step. If you're looking to get a tattoo removed, go somewhere else. The technology here is inefficient, but they will promise you otherwise to get your business. I was told at my consultation that my thin, black outline tattoo would be completely gone after my 10-session package, and after my 6th session (40 weeks later), I have seen no results. I asked my technician if my tattoo would be faded by the end of my treatments, and she said no. There are places with better laser technology that don't require a whopping 8 weeks between sessions- do your research before being sucked into a payment plan! They also offer a discount if you post a 5-star Yelp review, which further convinces me that LaserAway is a complete scam. read more

Where do I even begin? Wish I could leave 0 STARS! After spending 3,000 dollars in two years with LaserAway, I'm still left with all of my hair and have to shave every day. Laser tattoo removal here is also huge let down! This place is the biggest scam and waist of money!! They force you to sign up right away and make the promise to you that you will be hair and tattoo free. Then after two years go by of wasting time and money, expect to be left with hair coming back on EVERY LOCATION TREATED and a slightly lighter tattoo. Then they'll try to sell you more treatments as "maintenance treatments", which is the biggest scam of it all. WTH did I just pay for??? My tattoo removal has also made me wish I had consulted with other companies before purchasing 10 treatments with LaserAway. My foot tattoo is faintly lighter. If you expect to get results here, don't. I did everything afterwards, drank a ton of water kept it covered and out of the sun. I went to multiple technicians, none of which were ever the same or knew me or how my skin reacts. My treatments were different every time and they had many hiccups with their machines. One occasion, after icing my foot before tattoo removal, I noticed a giant red burn on my actual skin, not where the laser treated my tattoo. The laser is only supposed to detect ink. The tech actually severely burned my surrounding skin, not my tattoo and nothing was ever done or rectified. They made me think it was my fault, that I had a reaction when that wasn't the case. I had to contact corporate and no one gave any concern to me, but only to say they would look at it. My second hair removal treatment on my legs was the worst and went terribly wrong. I had been very careful to stay OUT OF THE SUN as told. I would have never wanted to ruin my skin or been paying $$$ to get the treatments to only screw it up. The tech left me with tiny scabs that turned into white spots all up and down my legs that didn't go away for 8 months. I had to wear jeans and pants constantly to cover them. Told that it was my fault that I was to tan. I'm naturally olive skin tone, so I don't know what I could have done to make any difference. I was told by Gina that they would do everything to fix these issues, but was ignored on many occasions, and regardless, they should have been more willing to remedy the situation given the stature. Not the case here, they only want your money. Do yourself a favor and don't waist your time and money!! I wish I would have done my research and knew what I was getting myself into before going with them. I'll never fall for a such a BS SALES PITCH AGAIN! read more

I have given this review 2 starts ONLY because the staff was very friendly and they remembered our names everytime we went in. Other than that, the treatments were definitely not what we were hoping for. My husband and I purchase SIX treatments EACH at $2500 for the clear and brilliance package. We looked at pictures and talked to Gina and after the staff talked so highly of it, we were certain this treatment was the right choice. I was completely wrong. First, our technicians were not the same everytime we went in so they were not able to identify our problem areas and work on those. Second, we have not seen results for the amount we paid. We were told that six treatments would show a dramatic change in acne scars and sun damage but that is COMPLETELY incorrect! Each technician told us different things. One said a lightening cream is what would be best and the two others recommended tons of different vitamin oils. My husband and I followed the aftercare instructions very specifically. We tried creams, moisturizers, oils, masks to keep us from the sun and still have not seen results! I am very disappointed with the money spent and definitely not happy. During our last treatment, no one showed any concern on why we weren't happy, they just suggested purchasing more treatments! Today I went Laser Away for cheek filler. I was looking for something natural to enhance my cheek bones but wasn't sure what to ask for or what more was needed since this was my first time. Wow, what a horrific experience I had here. I had been looking into getting juvederm lip Injections for some time when I finally decided to go for it. I saw an ad for this place and it had decent reviews so I contacted them for a consultation. Huge mistake. I spoke to Natasha who seemed very sweet and genuine. The day came for my appointment and after looking through some pictures on Natasha's phone and giving her an idea of what I was looking for-particularly expressing I didn't want anything to dramatic just a natural look but with fuller lips, she applied the numbing cream. I was surprised that I didn't even get to meet the injector before I went in the room to get the juvederm injected. Looking back I can see how unprofessional that is Being my first time having this done though I put my full trust in her. She was super nice and seemed like she knew what she was doing. Unfortunately I was dead wrong. This is where the nightmare began..over the next 10 days I realized my lips were horribly uneven. I had a huge lump in one side and literally had the dreaded "fish lips" look. One side was so overfilled I couldn't even smile properly! I spoke with the district manger several times and sent her pictures asking if we should dissolve some of the filler so my lips could just be back to normal! She kept telling me it was just swelling and that my lips would probably even out and if they didn't they could dissolve some "but it is very expensive"..so basically telling me after already paying $550 for lips so awful I didn't want to go in public and missed over a week of work because of, they were going to charge me more money to fix them! I decided I wasn't going to let them anywhere near my lips ever again and went to an actual place that specializes in injections and has a SKILLED amazing injector. She felt so bad for me and was just as shocked and appalled as I was at how awful my poor lips looked. Thankfully she dissolved it for me and I will be only going back to her for any future fillers. Stay away from Laser Away if you are thinking about getting your lips done. They are obviously inexperienced at that and should probably stick to laser hair removal. Although now I wouldn't even trust them to do that! The managers are all fake and just try to cover their butts when they could clearly see the job was done incorrectly. Laser away is just a company looking for business. The nurses are very nice and always willing to take care of you, although the ladies at the front desk can be very rude. I've had a few encounters where the desk managers are not friendly about appointment management, returning phone calls and don't seem to consider why many customers don't return. Another huge factor is not seeing the hair removal results. I had 4 treatments and hardly saw any decrease in hair within those areas. I will not return to laser away and would not recommend to those looking for laser hair removal. read more

I spoke with Natasha today about some of my problem areas and she recommended what's called, "Cool Sculpting" which doesn't involve needles or a recovery period. Natasha explained the process so thoroughly and backed up her explanations with before and after pictures of the cool sculpting process. Long story short -- she sold me! I've scheduled my appointment to come in for cool sculpting AND their deals are incredible when compared to other companies. They're able to get me 7 sessions of laser hair removal on my underarms for a very reasonable price. Not to mention that cool sculpting elsewhere is still a few hundred more than what LaserAway has to offer (I compared with National Laser Institute MedSpa). I am not only impressed with the interior ambiance of LaserAway, but also its associates. RUN, DON'T WALK- FAR FAR AWAY FROM LASERAWAY!! I had my horrible experience at the Chandler location- but it's crystal clear this company, as a whole, in NO WAY, honors their results. It's a pattern and I've spoken to sooo soooo many people that have had exact/similar experiences with this money grab operation they run. They knowingly promise results that are unrealistic, have these consultations that seem professional and honest. I researched and educated myself on these 2 procedures I had done, for 12 mths prior to finally paying/going through with them. I brought pictures, called/texted them with many many questions. I brought my husband to my appts, as a witness to what they were promising me. Lastly, I talked to several former/current patients- and I should've taken their opinions and stories alot more seriously!! Then when you don't get ANY results, they scream, yell and blame you for the poor/nonexistent results. Lastly, they ALWAYS end their call to you, by straight up hanging up on you. Then 2 days later,a member of management calls, twists themselves into a pretzel apologizing and promising all types of resolutions!! Then about 24-36 hrs before you go to your fix-it appt, they call/text to tell you they won't be fixing/redoing, unless I pay more money- lots more money. These procedures are costly and involve a commitment. And while they are elective procedures and person still has a right to expect results of some kind- forget the results they promised- at this point you'd be happy to see ANY kind of results!! A person wouldn't elect to have the elective procedure (s) done if they weren't looking for some type of change/result.. (I mean, HELLO!!). Then they blamed it on my metabolism- I'm a very inactive, overweight woman in my 50's- that can hardly get around most days!! Definitely not my metabolisms' fault, either. Look, there is so much more that I could go into that proves their complete and utter unprofessionalism, over and over and over. I'm not just a customer looking to get a free procedure or someone with buyers remorse. Money was and is never the issue, as I never make a rash, quick expensive purchase. I was totally happy with my lips, for the 3 weeks that you could see the change! (My "11" never even faded!!). I was happy to just have them fix the problems, and not wanting a refund. These people, from the tip top of corporate all the way down to the individual locations, are in no way interested in your care or concern, or in their professionalism or reputation. I will continue to remind people not to let these people near your body/face with needles, lasers, medications- ANY OF IT- because they are shady and not who they claim to be. Please go somewhere else- there are a ton of places to choose from. LASERAWAY is going to GO AWAY, if I have anything to do or say about it. I'm very relentless, but more importantly I have a heart and compassion and will always give you the real deal- 100% honestly and consistently. Stay beautiful, but be smart and safe, in doing so.
