I've been using New Horizons Med Spa for over a year now and absolutely love it. I don't ordinarily give five star reviews - I don't typically give reviews in general - but I think in this instance it's legitimately well deserved. The facilities are clean, the prices are reasonable, and the people who work there are truly lovely. Michelle is particularly awesome. She is a highly skillful esthetician and will put you at ease right away. I use her for all my Brazilians and am always impressed with her work, her speed, and her attention to detail. Let's be frank - no one wakes up and thinks to themselves, "You know what sounds really relaxing? A Brazilian wax!" and yet Michelle makes this unenviable experience the best that it can realistically be. I have been a former client of both The Lash and Sugar Company as well as European Wax Center and prefer her and her work far above what I received from both of those places. The results are phenomenal and let's just say my husband is a huge fan of her thoroughness as well. I was also relieved by how knowledgeable Michelle was regarding Brazilians after a C-section delivery. This was something I was really apprehensive about. I had worked up my nerve and asked my OB about it (without even having wine first too, what a win!) but was still pretty nervous about those first couple waxes and how it might feel on my fresh scar. Michelle was wonderful at calming me down and making me feel confident in going forward with waxes, even at just eight weeks postpartum. Angela, who works the front desk, is fantastic as well. She is prompt to return calls, great at answering my questions, and overall is just a helpful, easy-going person. As someone who is highly skeptical of suspiciously positive reviews ("Really? There is literally nothing this place can improve upon?!?"), I am trying to think of a negative or something I would change. There really isn't anything that stands out to me, though. Oh, you know what? It would be great if they were open either on weekends or had extended hours. If you work a traditional 9-5 job, you may find it a little tricky to get in unless your work is pretty accommodating and/or nearby. Overall, I am impressed with the services I've received at New Horizons Med Spa and am glad to be able to recommend them so highly. read more

I have been a repeat customer here since they basically first opened and will not go to any other place for my services. Michelle is absolutely wonderful and makes your experience easy, pleasant, and she is extremely knowledgeable about products, services, and is straightforward to what she feels is best for you as a customer. I have always felt comfortable and relaxed with her in every situation concerning my treatments. I've been going to her for so long she's like family and has made every experience relaxing and worth the money spent. While I only do laser treatments and waxing they do offer other services such as Botox, CoolScuplting, pellets and more. Their prices are reasonable, and like I said, Michelle makes every visit a pleasant one. The facility is clean and current to what's new in regards to products. read more

What's the point of being loyal? I've been a patient of New Horizons for 12 years. They have delivered three babies, I've referred multiple people who have also had babies with them. In my opinion, there were the best, both medically and professionally. I chose them because of my history and trust. Yes, the med spa is separate than the OB/GYN practice, but it's important to remember they ARE affiliated with one another. As far as the med spa, I've been a patient for 2 years. I'm loyal, I pay full price, I never complain. I chose New Horizons because I trust them, I felt like they appreciated me as a patient. Unfortunately, I was shown loyalty means nothing which means they do not appreciate their patients and won't try to make anyone happy. About 16 weeks ago, they changed nurse injectors because the one they had moved (that's fine). The procedure (botox in my face) was my normal procedure, but the new nurse injector left me bruised. I didn't say anything because I was going to show her when I went for my next appointment. It wasn't a huge deal, until all the other events took place. First, my appointment was rescheduled by New Horizons, that's ok, we communicated and confirmed everything. My appointment was the Tuesday following labor day and the Friday before I realized I needed to reschedule. I called, left a message stating I needed to reschedule. On Monday, I received a text asking to confirm my appointment, so knowing I wouldn't get a call on Monday (Labor Day) I made sure I had everything moved and worked out, so I CONFIRMED via text AFTER the voicemail message. I showed up before my scheduled appointment to find out my appointment was cancelled. I never received a phone call, a text, an email, nothing stating it was actually cancelled. They already put people in my spot. Told me I could wait 30 minutes to an hour to be seen. At that time, no discount offered, just a 'well you can be seen in 30-60 minutes". I expressed my concern about the bruising from last time (at that point I wanted a MEDICAL professional) to inject me. The response was Sam was their nurse injector, they didn't have doctors injecting (not sure if it was THAT day or general). The issue I have with the bruising at this point was the nonchalant attitude of the receptionist. So I left. I went back into the practice to speak to the office manager, because I've never had an issue and I really thought they would make some effort to keep me as a patient. Well, I was wrong. Clearly loyalty and history mean nothing to them. Apparently, the office manager and receptionist are one in the same. How can a receptionist give clients and employees their undivided attention....huge mistake to make your office manager and the receptionist the same person. Just shows your culture is all about money and not patients/employees/general human respect. She's nice enough, apologizes, but again ,no effort to show any customer appreciation. I left, again in absolute disbelief there's no effort to keep me as a patient. We went back in to obtain my chart because I am going elsewhere. Well glad I did because when we went back in, coincidentally there was an available time slot (immediately) and the only discount they would offer me was still with the nurse injector (who bruises) and she was going to give me the employee discount which was 8 dollars versus 9 dollars a unit. At this point, I'm done. It's not that it's bad, it's just that I'm spending my money, I feel like they should make a little more effort to say thanks and show their appreciation for clients. I'd rather go somewhere they appreciate their clients. I'm just really disappointed. read more

I just moved here from Seattle and was in need of my Botox treatment. I called around and got a lot of places that just didn't make me feel to welcome on the phone some just sound rude I started to get very discouraged until I came upon New Horizons wow I couldn't believe how fast they were able to get me in and after meeting them in person and getting my Botox I was so happy and pleased. I just went this morning for a vibradermabrasion (my sister gifted me a groupon) and was really happy with the service. Michelle was the Aesthetician and not only was she sweet and friendly, but she never pushed any products nor made me feel like I was anything less than a 'full-price' customer, which honestly is the ONLY reason I DO NOT buy Groupons for beauty/aesthetic services (I learned my lesson!). The place itself is conveniently located near my work and the ambiance is elegant (but not over the top) and welcoming; the front staff were friendly and prompt. The business is also a Women's Care center (OBGYN, I think), so there were a few pregger moms in the waiting room. Michelle will definitely be getting my return business - she was gentle, very informative, had good advice and tips for face care, and pleasant to do business with. The facility was up to par and with all that said, I'm looking forward to returning there for business. read more
