This was my first time doing my full brow and was referred by my friend who has gone to multiple locations for this service and recommended this establishment as most efficient. The rep. On the phone was super lovely, answered all of my questions. They texted me a couple days before to remind me to complete some consents and place a deposit for $50 consult which can be used towards treatment if we move forward after consult. Dr. Tariq presented as kind, warm, competent. I felt immediate trust in him to do my service. Yes it was painful, but that is expected. He used ice to numb the area for a short period of time before going in. Because the eyebrow area is so small, it is tolerable. I do want to say I have a high pain tolerance. To me beauty = pain. ;) I anticipated that I would need 6 sessions 6-8 weeks apart however Dr estimated 2-3 sessions 6 weeks apart. I am 6 days post treatment today and it's gotten so much lighter. I could probably stop here but I def want to have as much red removed as possible. Right after treatment, my whole tattoo appeared gone but shortly after the redness started and I was so swollen for 2 days. Used lots of ice and bought the $25 aloe treatment gel mixture they sell. She also recommended using a melanin inhibitor beforehand because it would make the laser treatments more effective. I asked whether the products were vegan and cruelty-free. She said she'd go ask, but she came back without an answer. Before leaving, I scheduled my first PicoWay treatment for the following week. When I returned for the appointment, I saw a different PA, Sheri, who gave me different information. She told me the brown spots on my leg actually could not be treated with the laser after all, and that I would likely need 6-12 treatments rather than 4-6. She also did not know whether the recommended products were vegan and cruelty-free. Additionally, she explained that I was supposed to use the products for several weeks before beginning laser treatments -- something I had not been told during the original consultation. The first PA had mentioned the products, but never explained that pre-treatment use was required before starting the laser. Sheri contacted the product representative to ask about the vegan status of the products, but the rep was unsure and could not provide any timeline for getting an answer. At that point, I left without receiving treatment. Both PAs were friendly and professional, but I was frustrated by the lack of consistency and communication. I would have appreciated someone following up about whether the products were vegan before I came in expecting to begin treatment. Instead, I wasted time coming to an appointment that ultimately could not proceed. It also concerned me that the providers were not on the same page regarding what could actually be treated or how many sessions would realistically be required. It has now been about a month since that appointment, and nobody ever followed up regarding whether the products were vegan, despite assuring me that they would. I ultimately went to a dermatologist, who explained that the mole and brown spots should not be treated with laser in the first place. She excised the mole for less than the estimated cost of four laser sessions. Based on my experience, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist for concerns like these, since they are medical skin specialists.

Before beginning, Joey confirmed she didn't feel any leftover filler in my lips. I began to feel hesitant seeing how long the procedure was taking just to do 1 syringe of Juvederm XC filler. It took around 45 minutes before we ran into issues. Joey mentioned there was a lump of new filler on my top lip that she should be able to message out. This was very painful. She then became nervous and asked "Did you feel a burst or something? And I said what? Then she responded by saying that she was "just going to message the PA on the SLACK app really quick". I had no idea what was happening! She then left the room and returned saying she has a remote PA on video chat that needs to check if I got a Vascular Occlusion caused by the filler injection! When I looked in the mirror I panicked! They took SEVERAL videos and I spoke with the PA virtually who stated "in their observation that it may just be a very VERY bad HEMATOMA! But if it was a Vascular Occulusion and circulation was not being provided to areas of my lips, I would have to go to Urgent care because it would be considered "a medical emergency!" Nurse Joey suggested that I can have the filler dissolved immediately which would lower my chances of complications and I agreed to just dissolve it, HOWEVER the PA on video chat advised that we "give it some time as there has already been A LOT OF TRAUMA caused to my lips". I was very scared! I then stated that I wanted a refund! Joey advised that I speak with the front desk. The front desk said they would reach out to Tashina in regards to a refund. I also asked to schedule an appointment the next day to have someone check out my injured lips, praying that it wasnt a Vascular Occlusion. The next day 3/21/26, I was examined by Nurse Angie who's manner showed that she was more experienced. She was kind and attentive and was the 1ST person at Laser Away to apologize for my experience. She then took videos and stepped out. She then returned with another staff member who held her phone to take video while she lifted up my lip and massaged it to feel for any lumps, along with constantly pressing on my lip for 3 seconds at a time to show that my lips returned back to normal color after being pressed. The messaging and compressions were painful. Then they both left. THEN they came back a 2nd time to take ANOTHER video. I began to panic again. Angie noticed I was so nervous and said, we are just taking this 2nd video because the PA on SLACK needed better lighting. When they returned a 3RD time, they stated the remote PA (different than the one on the previous day) thought it was a bad hematoma and to take Arnica tablets and/or cream and to apply a warm compress every hour. But to make sure to look for any areas of gray or any intense pain or tingling. Then I was sent on my way. Still very scared and concerned. It has now been a week and I still have bruising on my lips AND upper lip! It is unacceptable to have these huge hematomas from mishandling of my lips! Some bruising is expected, but NOT FULL ON HEMATOMAS!!! Before leaving, I requested for the manager to call me so that I could speak about my experience. I had to called Laser Away on Monday 3/23 to check if my correct contact info was provided because I was never contacted. I was then finally contacted by Lynette the Regional Manager. She was pleasant on the phone and stated that she was sorry that my 1st experience at Laser Away was not as expected and mentioned that she would make sure Joey received additional training in areas that needed improvement. She offered a free Hydrafacial but honestly I am extremely traumatized being there. It is very unfortunate because I wanted to give LaserAway a chance and even talked my husband into booking a Botox appointment that weekend with LaserAway but this whole nightmare experience scared him away enough to cancel. Lynette said she would refund my husband's payment and 5 days later, still NO REFUND received! Lynette also stated that despite my whole experience, I COULD NOT get a refund as the services were already rendered, even though I had asked for a REFUND IMMEDIATELY at my 1ST appointment when i was LITERALLY IN THE ROOM! It has been a week now and I have been taking Arnica cream and tablets and been applying warm cloths periodically. I feel so self conscious about all the bruising that I have to cover it up with lipstick and foundation. Worried that ppl may think im getting physically abused when in reality this was all caused by Laser Away. Not to mention the money I had to spend on Arnica tablets and cream!!! It is very scary that they do not have Physician Assistants on site to assess situations like this!!! If there was, then I would feel safer knowing whether or not I should go to the emergency room for a Vascular Occlusion!

Basically, I have a trip coming up in April, and I called LaserAway to see if they had any specials going on right now for Botox and filler. When I called in, the representative transferred me to the manager Amanda to talk about the specials and to book the appointment. We then booked the appointment and I immediately paid for the service because Amanda said that the discount would not last long, so I made sure to book it so that I wouldn't miss out on the discount. Anyways, a few days went by, which allowed me some time to think about the purchase, and that's when I realized that I should call to cancel the service for right now and request a refund. I get work done at LaserAway all of the time, so I could come back at a later time to book something else if I choose to. Anyways, I spoke with a representative about canceling my appointment and to request a refund. The rep. reassured me that a refund was possible as well since I did not use the service at all, but she told me that I would need to speak with Amanda since it was her that scheduled the appointment. I then spoke with Amanda to cancel the appointment and to request a refund. Amanda told me that she can give me store credit, but not a refund. I asked why she didn't tell me about the no refund policy before charging my card and she really had nothing to say about it. Overall, this is horrible customer service! Be aware of this place and of people like her because they're incredibly desperate for money and will scam you for anything.
