This place is an absolute joke. Do not waste your hard earned money here. I signed up for laser removal on the bikini, under arms and legs. That was my first mistake buying such a large package. I still have hair everywhere, I'm still shaving but what made my the experience horrible was the inconsistency. I didn't even know ice packs existed until my 3rd treatment. Then on my LAST treatment the girl walked in and said I was applying the ice packs wrong and I can give my self really bad dark spots. The first session the girl didn't tape around my tattoo and got super close to it...I have hair growing in that exact spot now because moving forward every person tapped it and refused to get that close...so thanks for the additional hair growth! I received a call asking if I was happy at the end of all my services. I said no, she apologized and then hung up. Now I'm getting sent a survey via email weeks later. I went in for my routine appointment. Christina was the nurse who was performing my laser removal. When she found out I had Shingles and was taken medication for it, she immediately checked in to make sure it was safe for me to have the procedure. It turns out it wasn't. As a safety precaution, the medical consultants advised her to inform me "no procedures until the Shingles are gone." I'm very fortunate that she was so thorough and looking out for my health. I came here for Xeomin after a friend recommended the place, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I made the mistake of not asking how many units would be used. They ended up injecting more than double my usual dose, 50 units total, which left me completely frozen. My face looks unnatural, and my smile, which I've always loved, now looks distorted, especially after getting units in my chin. I am petite and 29 years old I don't know why they would have needed such high dose or not asked me beforehand. I've been using dysport for two years and have never had a result like this. I haven't stopped crying because I truly don't feel like myself, and now I have no choice but to wait it out. What makes it even harder is that my birthday is in a few days, and I have a party coming up. I can't even smile, my smiles is crooked. I got started here with Colleen. Colleen was amazing and knowledgeable when going over the different services I was going to be getting. If I had any questions I could reach out and she was there to answer any questions and walk me through them. Every Sunday the past couple months were my appointments and I was always greeted by Barinder and Roxanne. They're both so sweet and always greeted me before I even fully walked in the door. If I had questions or concerns either one are always willing to go above and beyond. Today I came in for my treatment and my nurse was Vanessa. I feel like was very thorough and also accommodating and talked me through everything as she was using the laser. Each time I come here and have an appointment they get me in and out. On the way out they schedule for your next one. It's pretty seamless and you get a text message reminder. So far I am happy with LaserAway. I just wish you could request the nurse you get, but it depends on where they are scheduled. I would pick Vanessa next time if she is working. read more

Last night I got an ad for LaserAway. It caught my interest and I put in my info. Set up a consult for 12:30pm today for coolsculpting the old double chin. I looked into the pricing, on the website is says $525 per session 25% off if you get 4+ sessions and 50% off for 8+ sessions. Then there's a coupon right there for an additional 20% off. I did the math and figured $1680 plus tax for 8 sessions. I emailed LaserAway to cancel my consult and figured I'd come back next month when I get my back pay for the last 4 months, and I didn't want a high pressure sales call if I wasn't ready. At 8:10am this morning LaserAway called me and wanted to set up a consultation. I was confused, but let her know politely that I was not interested at the moment, instantly her attitude changed from helpful and sweet to sarcastic and condescending. Started drawing out her words and the whole bit. Tells me, so you want to know prices, but you're not interested in the consult to get the prices (again imagine very smug attitude) and I just replied yeah, I already got the prices so I'm ok right now, but maybe in the future. Then came more attitude and tells me, that's funny because we don't have the prices listed on our website. So then I went into the cost breakdown I went into at the beginning here and I said, so the totals about $1680 after I did the math. She tells me, oh you have it all figured out then you're all set and starts saying her goodbyes. Again, with her condescending attitude it struck me as ok maybe there's other discounts and so my numbers are off. So I ask is that not correct? And she tells me something to the same effect of sort of, but not really and then goes silent. So I just said ok thank you for educating me and not pushing me off the phone have a good day. Obviously she wanted me to beg for the correct information and was not going to tell me anything voluntarily. It was a weird power trip. Maybe business isn't doing well? Or worse, maybe this place is like the other comments say, a straight money trap which would make sense because she probably saw me as a vacation or house payment walking away. I have never worked with a more dishonest salesperson than Jamielyn. She told me that my skin would be clear in 6 sessions. And that if at any time I wasn't happy I could get a refund. She cut me off several times which I now see is a habit of hers, but I proceeded anyway against my better judgement. I had originally requested a video consultation but Jamielyn said it was unnecessary so we did a phone call. Another red flag I ignored because I was so desperate to fix my skin. The 6 sessions would be $3044 for my face and neck for clear and brilliant. I went in for a session. The nurse was very nice and explained that I needed to be patient and that it would take between 6 and 12 sessions to START seeing results. Very different from what I was originally told. The front desk representative said that if I continue my at home regimen of hydroquinone and the laser treatment I should have "good" results. It took everything in me not to start crying because I just spent over $3000 to stop using that toxic cream just to be told I need to keep using it. I took a day to think it over and I messaged Jamielyn. She called me. She cut me off every single time I spoke. She said I should continue and that I haven't given the treatment a chance to work. She said try 3 more sessions. I explained my reservations because of what the nurse said (when she actually let me speak and didn't cut me off.) She said "wouldn't you be happy after 6 sessions if you had 70% clear skin?" No! Not for $3000! She promised me clear skin after 6 sessions. That was the whole reason I bought the package. She said she would charge me the "full" price for the one session I already did, not the "discounted" rate. The reason I am so upset is because she wanted me to keep going. And what would happen if I did? There would be no money left to refund. Each session is supposedly $1098. If I did 3 sessions and wanted a refund there would be no money left to refund. They quote you an inflated price so that they don't refund you on the "discount." That was her plan all along. She can call herself ethical all day long as she swears on the lives of her grandchildren as she did on our phone call but that is not ethical to me. I called Laseraway corporate a week ago and am still awaiting a call back. I don't know if this is a dishonest company or rogue salesperson who says whatever it takes to get a sale. Either way, she needs to be held accountable for her words. She quickly reminded me I signed a contract so she knows she can say whatever she wants without consequence. I was BURNED ON MY ANKLES AND BEHIND MY UNDERARMS. I will not return to this location. Black women, should take the negative reviews and ratings under full advisement. Treatment 1- covered 3 areas, I had burning and bumps around the outer ankle area, both ankles. The burning subsided after one week. The bumps are still there after 2 months. There is light discoloration - hypopigmentation. Treatment 2- covered 2 areas There is severe burning, extreme sensitivity to touch, showering, and dressing. I was traveling and couldn't return to be seen for burning from treatment 1. I also was unsure if there was an error in protocol, etc. as it was my first treatment. I inquired about the bumps and was told some of the sensation was expected, that is was good and reflected the area was healing itself, etc. I reported treatment 2 immediately, took pictures, and returned for their clinician to take pics, and to expedite the termination of services and begin the process for my refund. The reason for the review is due to the protocol for mitigating the error. The company spiel includes interrogation and dismissal of pain or discomfort. The clinician cleaned the area took, pics, and hydrocortisone was applied to the area. There was no offer for products, or after care even with the visibility of the burn. The questions and tangential delivery of dermatological information is beyond the level of rational consideration. Comments were made regarding observations of extreme cases, but not comparable to my situation. I was burned. Just say so. If it was an error, let's say so, to move on. The two most offensive statements were related to sun exposure and shirt color. I was told, that the burns from the laser under my arm, could have come from sun exposure for 20 min. Pre/post treatment protocol suggests NOT DRIVING, in your car, for 20 minutes - for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after treatment! Yes! You will be told that you could cause underarm damage from sun exposure if you are driving in your car for 20 min within 2 weeks before and after the treatment. Be advised- this company will also tell you that, the lasers burns under your arms, can be related to dye transfer from the color of your shirt! The dye can lead to irritation. I was burned. I was reasonable and waited 2 days before reporting the issue. The pictures reflect the BURNS. The clinicians at this place have a horribly unethical job to have to claim a burn is a topical skin condition. Disheartening to have burns, worse to experience the gaslighting. If you experience BURNS, don't hesitate to report them. I cancelled the charge with the credit card company. I will keep this post until I have full documentation that the charges were reversed and I will not be responsible for any fees. If I can recall anything else, I will update the post. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! SCAM!!!!!!!!! The manager Birinda and the nurse Cleo or Chloe are awful people. They gave me such attitude because I asked to see what level I was at. Cleo the last time I was treated by her she kept going even though I asked for breaks and never checked in with me when it was getting too intense like the other nurses did. It was my first time with my chest/abdomen and it was very very harsh. As for the non-disclosing of the laser's level that it is currently set at. They stated it is company policy to not disclose the exact numbers. I was thinking why is that? Why wouldn't you want transparency with your service you provide? Now I know why. They keep you at the lowest level or middle level so you exhaust your 8 treatments (the package they force you to buy, you cannot just buy one treatment) and then you have to BUY "maintenance" treatments because they had you on such a low level that your hair is not gone by the 8th treatment. They are there to make MONEY and not to provide customers/patients with good service and quality service. I told them I did not want to be treated there and to cancel all my appointments. I called the 800 number and requested to speak to a Regional Supervisor so I can file a complaint against this location. I will continue to go to the Eastvale location in hopes that I get better quality care and more compassionate care than the Victoria Gardens facility. Once my treatments are done I will NEVER come back to ANY Laseraway. I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT REGRET coming here and giving them my hard earned money and time. I will not give this place or any Laseraway ANY MORE OF MY MONEY! I don't care if I'm a gorilla! They don't deserve another penny from me! Hope they learn and stop scamming their clients.
