LOVE this location. I have been to over 4 locations in the Bay Area and this location is by far my favorite! I get laser on my underarms (10 min. sessions), full legs (30-45ish min. session), and a brazilian (10 min. session). My appointment takes 1 hour to finish all 3 areas. I purchased a package that included all 3 areas (8 sessions). After completing my 8 sessions, I purchased a touch-up package of 3 more. The results are amazing! If I had to recommend just one area, definitely get the Brazilian or bikini package. Life changing! TIP: If you are sensitive or have a low-pain tolerance, you can ask the nurse for an ice pack so you can ice areas while they are lasering you. Makes the process more comfortable! If you are getting laser near/during your period, keep in mind your body will be more sensitive, so it could be more painful. My appointments are always on time and I have never had to wait. Every nurse has been extremely professional and knowledgeable. Rooms have always been clean and fully stocked with cleansing wipes, makeup wipes, lotions, and anything else needed. I was a customer at Laser Away but I didn't like it there. For those who never been to Laser Away or consider going there, I wouldn't recommend because they just want your money, keep selling plans and offer loan option (Green Sky). Their IPL, Clear & Brilliant, and Cool Sculpting is $499 each treatment. According to them, you need at least 8-12 treatments to see some results. I had 3 IPL treatments with them at San Jose - Santana Row location. The appointment system is horrible like DMV. For my 3rd treatment, it was finally my appointment date, I was driving there but they called me 20 min before my appointment time and told the machine was broken and all future appointments were two months out. After I complained, they were able to squeeze me in an appointment in the Palo Alto location the next day, which I had to rearrange my plans. Also, the parking is a nightmare. The treatment is like an "In and Out" service. They quickly clean your face, then apply a thick coat of clear gel, then ran through the IPL on my face only ONCE! The entire IPL treatment was in less than 30 min, and they expect you to leave right after because another customer was already waiting to go into the same room. I have done IPL in other places, they ran through the IPL at least THREE times across my face. After the IPL, other places would put a hydrating/claiming mask on you, or some other places would apply toner, serum, lotion, and SPF for me. If you are looking for a quick IPL with little result, this is a perfect place for you but I would look around on Groupon for a better place. read more

Update 10/18/2021: I posted this review two weeks ago, but it was deleted for some reason I don't know. We will see that happens this time. I inquired Laseraway Thermage and C&B treatments back in July 2020. The sales lady Jordan Gilmont told me the price was $2500 and $2399 accordingly. And since I am already spending $4899, I should purchase a $5000 black card instead, so I can get a $2500 credit, and I can use the credit for another thermage or C&B if I am satisfied with the service. So I proceeded with the order. After the purchase, I did not receive any confirmation from Jordan or Laseraway with any sort of itemized cost. After I had my first treatment, I asked Jordan where could I track my treatments and spendings at Laseraway but there was no response from Jordan. But I chose to trust Jordan and Laseraway, and assumed everything is fine. Now September 2021, I finished my purchased Thermage and 6 C&B treatments, and was planning to use the remaining $2600 credit for another package of 6 C&B treatment, but notified I did not have enough balance to do so. The receptionist at San Jose told me I was charged $3499 for my thermage. And when Jordan reached out to me later about the billing, she changed her words to the $2500 in her text message was a promotional price. Because I purchased a black card, the price for thermage was $3499. I didn't know there was another "original" price until now! When promotions are not stackable, any ethical business or sales person would be disclosing applicable situation or limitations up front. But Jordan did not, or maybe she intentionally hid this information to make a sell. Reaching online review this week, I am not the sole victim to Jordan's false advertisement. Now I can't get additional service without paying more. Nor can I choose the original $2500 promotional price and get my $101 change back. This is a wrong way of doing business, so I am going to pursue my case in Santa Clara County court. Any friend online who has similar experience, please message me and join my effort!! read more

I'm not one to get on here and write a review but I felt an urgency to do so today. I honestly don't think I could have had a better experience than I did at the Santana Row Laseraway! It was my very first time getting Botox, and when I walked in, I felt like the employees were welcoming me home. It felt genuine and I felt seen and comfortable. Miranda was at the front when I got there and handed me a goodie bag with serums, face masks and a cute Laseraway bag. She was so caring and happy and even knew my name! I am not pleased with the customer service. I contacted Laser away a few weeks ago for lip filler juvederm 1 syringe and was quoted $600 and there were no specials at that time. Laser away contacts me Sunday July 18th 2021, I advised i was interested in the juvederm 1 syringe. I was told they were doing a buy one syringe and get one either $100 or $200 off deal. Of course I opted for the $200 off deal. Fast forward to today July 26th 2021 I was given the run around about the "$200.00 of deal". I believe if you tell a customer a price it should be honored and not persuaded into buying double the product if the person has never used before to receive a discount. i contacted them to get a second quote on cool sculpting. A Walnut Creek office approved the service and gave me a quote but I thought to see about others' pricing. I contact Laser and had to answer a 30 question if I'd accept arbitration, etc. So I spend time doing that before even talking to a rep. When I talked with a rep; she asked me to send pix. I did and then the last pix of 4; the RN that was reviewing them, said no go. I'm not fat; I just have that problem area in the tummy. I'm 55 and that's the only place I need help. I've been going to this Laser Away location for a couple years now. I was tired of shaving so I decided this was the next step for me. The staff is always very accommodating, kind and patient. I started off with laser hair removal for my upper lip. My progress was so great that I also added brazillian and underarms. I'm currently doing maintenance for all areas which is great. Every once in a while I get curious about the other services they offer during the consultations the nurse is knowledgable and real with the answers. My experience overall has been a 10+/10. I had a phone consultation with Laser Away. I was inquiring on Cool Sculpting and acne scar removal. Two days passed and no word from them which surprised me because they called almost immediately after I submitted my request for a consultation via Yelp. My technician was Rachel and she was wonderful! She listened to my concerns and explained everything as she went through the process. She relaxed my nervousness and even took my call the next day when I had further questions. I went in today for my 2 week follow up and finished up with a tiny bit more filler since swelling was all gone. No bruising at all today, not even painful. I highly recommend her and Laser Away! This is my second time giving LaserAway a chance after having a HORRIBLE first experience with them for a different cosmetic procedure than I booked this time. I arrive to my appointment and the receptionist says unfortunately they only have full syringes available and I'd have to pay the difference or she could num me and send me on my way to another clinic all the way across town. After waiting and waiting and seeing others coming and going, after I arrived, upon checking at the front desk, I was told that I'd checked in late and was bumped to accommodate those who were on time. Excuse me...I was early. I was also told they were short nurses: This was a constant occurrence. I contacted customer service, spoke with a regional manager, explained the situation, and was told I'd get a call back from the site manager. Nope...radio silence. I'm still waiting for that call two months later. I asked for and received two comped sessions for the inconvenience. Simply put, Laser Away needs to be better. Period. I ended my relationship with Santana Row and transferred to another location, Los Gatos, where the first nurse I saw was exceptionally rude. Upon contacting customer service again, the manager was off that day; I was told that this particular nurse had had several complaints from other clients. Great Experience! From consultation to appointment booking to the appointment day, my experience has been great. I went to the one in SR and everyone was super friendly and caring. The receptionist was a gem and so was the lady that did the procedure for me. The place is nice and clean. I got the Clear and Brilliant laser for some pigmentations and acne scarring, and it has really helped my complexion. It's been a month already and I can feel that my skin is improving. The texture and just brightness. I purchased a 12 pack and so cannot wait to continue to get more sessions to gradually improve my skin overall. The procedure was wonderful and truly no invasive. I had clear and brilliant laser on my face. I got 4 sessions for my wide pores. My pores stayed, but after the 4th session my face became very red and irritated. What I noticed is that my skin became very irritable, sensitive and thin after laser. ( Before the laser, I never ever my skin was irritated). Another issue is that I noticed that my skin is now tanned under my eye area, not so much brown as in melasma but the skin color under eye and the the treated skin color are considerably different. Before I purchased they called me 3 times and during the interview with the sales person at office (it was another office at middown) she told me 4 sessions would be enough for me. I told them I will not be able to continue afterwards but they deceive me saying that this would be enough. On the other hand the nurse told me at my last session that I should continue since 4 session is NEVER enough. I called them 1 week after the last treatment when I recognized that scars are not healing as it suppose to be and pores are still wide. They told me one skin care professional will be in touch with me. The following week I called again since I had no return, (the lady that I speak last was so rude). She also told me to wait till some specialist call me and one more week passed, still there is no call. I don't know how can I treat the over pigmentation at my face nor if it is permanent? I feel deceived by the sales person and now because of the last session, I am constantly using foundation to cover the redness.
