Very quick to answer about consultation inquiries. Also, very quick to schedule appointments for treatments. BUT, horrible service when trying to contact for rescheduling or cancelling a treatment. You have to go through a call center of some sort rather than being to talk to the business directly. I purchased my first treatment of Coolsculpt (which isn't cheap), but when needing to rescheduling it was really difficult to talk to an actual staff from the Walnut Creek store. Finally when someone called back, they told me I'd be put on a wait list and basically hope for a cancellation. Thousands of dollars invested in a treatment I can't even start, but have already been charged for. They didn't even offer or ask if there was another date they could look into. Will be looking to see if there's a way they can refund me and take my business elsewhere. As for Botox, I've received it several times for my crows feet at a different business. Opted for Laseraway because it was closer. The work was uneven. Lines are still more prominent on left eye than right. I've never experience uneven results or results that took longer to show. read more

I started with underarm treatment and then continue with happy trail, arms, brazilian and petite inner thigh coolsculpting​. Laser hair removal has made me a new woman! I recently went to Hawaii, and although I packed a razor, I didn't use it once in 8 days. That alone is worth the price of admission! I have light skin and black hair, so any stubble looks pretty awful on me, and this service is a game-changer. Don't get me wrong - it's NOT a cheap service, but if you wait for the right deal/sale, it's worth it. The technicians are polite and quick - I get three areas done and it takes less than 45 minutes. It doesn't tickle, but it's not what I'd describe as painful, just irritating - like getting tiny stings and zaps. I'm worried about what will happen if I get pregnant again (hormonal changes affect hair growth), but that's a concern for an uncertain future. Overall, highly recommended! read more

Laseraway has been so hard to work with the last few months, if it wasn't for the services I've prepaid, I would no longer be going (and prob won't be once I've gotten the services I've already paid for). It's hard to get appointments, the last few appointments have gotten cancelled the day before or hours before appointment time due to staffing. The last appt I had, the email I received had a different time than what was ultimately in their system and so I had to wait about an hour for service. In general, don't expect anything to be on time. I don't think the nurses are thorough (laser hair removal). Etc. Please get it together! read more

I still have unused filler and have been refused a refund or trade in service. I got a whole package and after doing lip filler my top lip is permanently damaged and uneven. I was told i just need to massage my lip, after calling multiple times they finally had me come in to massage my lip. it didnt do anything. 2 years later i still have a large lump in my lip. Most irritating laser hair removal experience I've ever had. I initially called them to get a quote, and they had me fill out a form. And then began the non-stop texts, calls, and emails. I decided to go because they had a 65% off deal (otherwise it would've been over $300) Which is absurd. I go in the office and after I already filled a form out online I went into a back room and got a facetime call just for someone to ask me the SAME questions I already answered. I came back to the front and paid for the appointment. Then I went to the treatment room and was instructed to get undressed, and 30 seconds after she left the room she about to come back in as my pants are at my ankles and i'm right in front of the door where anyone could see me. I open it and she said I had to pay before the treatment, and I said I already did, so she had to go back to the front and re-check. So I re-dress and walk out to go show them the confirmation email (because they don't take card, only on your phone you can do it). And of course the whole "oh sorry we just saw it" Well thanks I was half undressed when you so rudely barged back in and accused me of not paying... To keep the audacity going, they didn't believe me when I said I already received the call from the nurse about the health questionnaire, so for the THIRD TIME i answered the same questions. As the procedure continued, the laser hair removal girl kept saying "your hair is so light, your hair is so long it's not gonna come out" Well I've had 4 treatments elsewhere and each time i've seen SIGNIFICANT reduction. So if I don't see it this time, it's not me, it's their machines. So let's see how it goes... She then said some hairs were too long and they're not gonna fall out. Well, would've been nice if in all the annoying phones calls texts and emails, I could've been informed to completely shave before I come in. This was not necessary at the previous spa I went to. So basically she just told me all the reasons why my hair isn't gonna fall out and the procedure probably won't work... Well sounds like a great excuse to defend your most likely shitty lasers. She also hardly hit the spots. She did it all in about 20 seconds and very super finally for a Brazilian if you know what I mean. Usually at least take a good 5 minutes to hit everything correctly. As others have said your initial contact is met by persistent calls, texts and emails. I thought it was odd that you had to prepay before services are rendered or before knowing how many units of Botox were even being used but followed their process. After searching for parking and having to pay a meter, I made it to my 6:15 appointment 7 mins late. I was told "we're already into my appointment and they don't have time for me." I told her no problem please provide my refund.. The receptionist told me to she'll send a note but I'll have to speak to "her" referring to the original salesperson. I went online to get pricing. The website asked me for some information and then I received a phone call right away to schedule an appointment. I asked the lady on the phone for an approximation on laser hair removal for legs, Brazilian, and underarm. She said I would have to come in and get a free consultation as they only do customize pricing. A week or so later I go in. The staff are nice in the front. I get called to the back. My first thoughts are this room does not look like they are going to examine your skin or hair to give you "customize pricing". It a very simple white desk and 2 chairs. So the lady goes straight into the pricing. When she was done I was very upset because why couldn't they tell me this over the phone. I drove 40mins just to hear this, you could've just gave me a free consultation over the phone instead of me spending all this time driving here and back. She said well did you ask for the pricing over the phone? Well, no because the website stated to come in for a free consultation to get prices. Also, she was the one I spoke with over the phone when I first originally canceled my appointment. I told her that I had to cancel because there was al-lot of traffic and I couldn't make it. So why didn't she offer the pricing over the phone? Then she said we look at your hair color and skin tone to give you pricing.. So why can't they ask you these questions over the phones or include this in your website? Instead of making someone come in for a consultation this information can be communicated over the phone or with a simple questionnaire online. I wanted to give props to Nurse Jenelle. She performed my last IPL treatment and was just great! Years of all day in the sun are really showing themselves now that I'm in my 50s. Jenellell targeted a few areas in particular that have been driving me crazy. It will probably take a few more treatments to draw those spots fully out, but I can see the change. Nurse Jenelle was careful and cognizant of sensitive areas, gave good after care instructions, and suggested another cream to use that can provide additional help with my sunspots between treatments. The Walnut Creek laser away is a way different vibe than concord laser away. I suggest concord. The concord staff is kind and very helpful. Unfortunately my experience with the Walnut Creek location is the staff is extremely rude on phone, cancel appointments the moment of when you walk in the door, not help with rescheduling even if I was in the hospital with 48hr notice and super sloppy. I immediately hung up and called concord for scheduling and they always found room even after Walnut Creek said there was nothing..
