After my 5 star review i have to revisit as I am quite frankly mortified. I had a gal I had met who works at Laser Away always encourage me to come and see her for Botox (I already have a spot and only go for laser hair at Laser away) WENDY always said she could get me a "deal" I saw her a couple times in passing always cordial while I was there. She had followed me on Instagram and I had posted some K-Beauty routines because I am always looking at new innovative skincare. She messaged me saying that "All Asians look the same" to my response in horror she panicked after I called her out on her racist behavior. She tried to cover her tracks by manually deleting her messages and blocking me on Instagram after claiming she did not just say what she said. I have finished my package and will no longer be going back to Laser Away further more. I would strongly suggest your staff not follow Patients on social media. read more

I've been waiting to get laser hair removal since I was a teenager and every year I've been asking Santa Claus but he doesn't seem to get the memo . This year I decided to finally treat myself and get all this unwanted hair permanently removed! The procedure is pricey and can be painful for some so you really have to want it! Laser hair removal requires commitment! Financial commitment, time commitment (8, 1 hours sessions plus an initial consultation), and the obvious commitment to not wanting hair anymore! The positives: the place is always super clean and feel like a clinic. They give you goggles and a robe to use during your sessions. They tell you exactly what to expect and it has been very accurate so far. The partner with a financial company that can give a loan for 0 interest! The nurses are sweet and professional. The negatives: it is expensive. Initially the staff can be very, VERY pushy to try to get to buy more packages. They always say they have this great new deal, blah, blah, blah... You know, typical sales person. You just have to be tough and know what you want. Rescheduling appointments is a nightmare so make sure you pick a date and time that works for you since the beginning because of you try to reschedule they'll tell you the next available appointment in over a month away and I've never been called back when I've been added to the dropped appointment waitlist. Let's start on what's positive on this branch. It is conveniently located & close to a parking garage. The waiting area is well lit & comfy. While you are waiting there are ample of reading materials, they offer coffee & water. The restrooms and service area are clean and the staff are friendly. What's not to like? What you need to know if you are a new client/customer. When you book a "Free Consultation with a free bag" it is not the typical consultation where you sit with a medical professional and examine your areas of concern and what services is best for you. (I know it is a marketing strategy) but it was a let down and a bad first impression. The patient coordinator was such a sweetheart, but the script almost drove me away. The moment you sit down they will jump on a hard sell of the packages and supposedly "a good deal" if you buy the multiple sessions right then and there. I was expecting I was going to meet a medical professional to talk about my concerns and future services and if we agree then we could talk about how much are we talking. But instead all my questions about the services where quieted because we immediately jumped on the prices and packages. And also, there was no free goody bag. I've been a client for a whole year & enjoyed the results I've been seeing! I paid for the brazilian & underarm treatments & wanted to update my review on the drastic change my underarms went through. The lighting is different in my photos due to my room change (so please don't mind), but you can tell the splotches & darkness from my previous pigment has lightened so much from lasering. I know I came here for hair removal, but it also helped lighten the area because of the type of hair/pigment I had underneath my skin. I feel much more confident about my armpits now. Also, keep in my mind the products you use on your skin because I did use drug store deodorants (like Secret & Dove) for many years, which I felt had played a part to my darkness. I've now switched to more cleaner & organic deodorants for my skin, while I was also doing my laser treatments. I hope the comparison is helpful to other reviewers. I did a total of 8 treatments to get my results now. Thank you Walnut Creek's staff! As for my brazilian, I am pretty happy with my results. I plan on coming back in the near future for a few more sessions to get the more stubborn areas. But my bikini line is flawless. I'm giving 2 stars only because I love my laser hair removal but DO NOT go here for filler. I had some filler in my lips done a few years ago and still dealing with the aftermath. I had a large lump protruding down on my right upper lip. I called them multiple times and they kept telling me to massage the area. They said it is normal to have lumps for up to 8 weeks after the injections. Why would I pay hundreds of dollars to have lumpy asymmetrical lips I'm self conscious about?! I wish I would have know at that time that having it dissolved was an option. They made it sound like it was only for emergencies. I finally had some dissolved by another provider but lips are still not the same. read more

Bought 8 sessions for underarm hair removal. Love the results and the customer service. Before the treatment, I had to shave every other day. After the first treatment, I never shaved. There are a few thin stragglers left that are not visible. I'll come in for maintenance maybe once a year if needed. The deal for the hair removal was a steal. And they provide a deal for maintenance that doesn't expire. Each treatment takes 5 min with very little pain. I'm a wimp and I was able to tolerate. Everyone there is warm and friendly. And you're basically gaslighted into thinking it's your fault every time they've messed up your appt. If you don't mind that they charge premium prices for a poorly run and administrated facility (and a customer service call center that doesn't communicate to their actual locations), then go at your own risk of extreme inconvenience.
