As a new business in my neighborhood, I was looking forward to supporting them. I called Monday morning and spoke directly with Anna, the owner. I told her I was interested in having my brows done and possibly getting an eyelash lift. She told me that she would personally be doing the services and that she was training for the next two days. She asked me to send photos of my brows for a consultation, which I did. After reviewing my photos, I was told that my brows were currently too saturated to work over and that brow lamination was recommended instead. When I asked about pricing, I was told by text that Brow Lamination & Sculpt was $75 and a Korean Lash Lift was $120. I then received conflicting information about Anna's availability. I was told that she actually wasn't available for these services and that I would need to see another artist. This was confusing because Anna had personally told me that morning that she would be doing the services and was training for the next two days. Then I noticed that the website listed Brow Lamination & Sculpt at $95 rather than the $75 I had been quoted. I asked about the discrepancy and was told that the $75 price was a typo. I understand that mistakes happen, so I simply asked if they would honor the price I had been given. I decided to call the salon rather than continue the conversation by text. Anna answered, and her tone was completely different from our initial conversation. I calmly explained the conflicting information and asked if they would honor the original quote. Her response was: "Maybe we are not a good fit and we understand if you go somewhere else." I found that extremely disappointing. This wasn't about a $20 difference. It was about receiving conflicting information about who would perform the services, what services were actually available, and what I would be charged -- and then being made to feel like I was the problem for asking for clarification. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. I was genuinely excited to support a new local business, but this interaction left a very poor first impression. I also noticed that every review currently displayed for the business is five stars. My experience was very different. Based on my experience, I won't be returning or recommending this business.

I believe my lash techs name was Katerina and she made my big brown eyes look amazing! If you want to go from "she cute" to "woah she beautiful" this is your spot!! There's really only 3 cons: The language barrier as they predominantly speak Russian (learning anyways so it's cool). I got my eyelashes done, asked for the same thing I got the last times I'd been there (they had it in the system). I've had them done in the past so I knew how to take care of them and was especially hyper-vigilant this time. I noticed a little bit of fall out at first but I trusted the studio and a little fallout is normal so I did not think much of it. However, 8 days after having my eyelashes done, I woke up and realized that one of my eyes barely had any lashes on at all. My eyelashes looked terrible and it was extremely noticeable the difference between the two eyes. I called the studio ASAP and after trying to resolve this, they told me that all I could do was pay for a 2 week touch up and they would fill all my lashes. I was not pleased with the shape initially (which I have stated was not their fault) so paying $70 for a touch up less than ten days after having them done just to get the same shape was absurd. To fix this, they then offered me a 10% discount on a new set so it would be $108, 9 days after I got them done which was upsetting since less than ten days ago I paid that much for a full set that should've lasted me around 4 weeks like it did in the past. I was embarrassed to walk out of the house with my eyes looking so uneven, and I ended up going and getting them removed since my frustrations were not being heard or taken seriously. This studio does not understand that I have done nothing wrong, nearly an entire eye of eyelashes should not have fallen off eight days after having them done, this is clearly an issue in the application process and I should not be expected to pay nearly full price for a new set not even two weeks after getting my initial set. I have attached photos for proof and I hope you all trust my review and find a better place to get your lashes done.

I've had it done some places where you can barely tell I got extensions. Not here ~ as soon as it was finished I was a different woman! Luna Lash recently moved to The Parlor NYC which is a beautiful space in Murray Hill. Sheryl is very sweet and also very clean. Everything was sanitized, she wore a mask during the procedure and the place was clean. Plan on spending 1.5-2 hours to get the lashes of your dreams. Support your local businesses!
