I was honestly not sure how much could even be done until those areas grew back. Renee was AMAZING. She immediately understood exactly what we wanted, and the result was beyond anything I expected. In just a few minutes, she transformed my daughter's eyebrows so beautifully and naturally that I was honestly amazed. Initially started out with just a wax with Alex but gradually worked up the courage to try a lami. I was super nervous about looking crazy but Alex was so patient and explained the whole process as she was applying. We started out with a really gentle formula for the first session but worked up to a stronger solution for the next sessions. I was so excited when they started offering lash lifts last year that I HAD to try it. My brows and lashes have NEVER looked so amazing! Alex has been able to transform my brow shape with such artistry. I always recommend Two of a Kind to any of my friends in the LA area. Booking is super easy- either online or through text. Lami would last a solid 6-7 weeks before I'd need to start using brow gel more regularly and I would stretch appointments by 9 weeks. Was getting lash lifts at the same time for convenience but could've definitely stretched things longer. Have not noticed any damage. She went and spoke with another lash tech & when she came back she told me that she would honor it, but only work on my lashes for one hour. typically it takes two hours to do a full set of Lashes so I asked her how long do you normally take to do a set? She replied from 1 1/2 -2 hours. So basically I'd be getting a subpar service. I found that to be completely unacceptable and considered to be a bait and switch, which is illegal. I can't believe she even offered that to me smh literally made no sense. I think special deal or not that they would want to do their very best work on every client. The whole point of the ad is to bring new customers in. Why would I ever come back if you didn't do a good job to begin with. I would never choose Lash pilot again first and foremost they lie in their ads, the staff at that location were very rude and they did not give me a refund for my deposit. People these days are so quick to ask for a deposit to make an appointment, but they are real slow to give you your money back when they don't honor their end of the bargain. Also, it was a very big waste of my time. I have an event that I need to go to this evening and now I'm screwed because they wasted my time and didn't follow through with what they advertised. Things I didn't know before I've met Leila: - Threading hair…read moreunderneath your eyebrow isn't good for your skin at all!!! Don't do it! We only supposed to use tweezers in that sensitive and thin area. Only do threading on the top of the eyebrow, not under. -Places where they thread your eyebrows in less then 10-15 minutes are not really assessing the shape of your face features to give you the best results for YOU. They copy & paste the same shape on each client. In and out the door in 10 minutes? No no no. Stay away from these type of threading salons. They want to see as many clients as possible to maximize profits, and won't give you the attention you need. I highly recommend Leila for brow threading and shaping. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and authentic. She takes her time with each client to insure him or her the best results. When we met for the first time she made some observations on my eyebrow shape that made a positive impact on my overall appearance. Leila takes the time to discuss what she sees and is passionate about her craft. I've been going to different threading salons for the past 10 years and she is absolutely the BEST. Worth every penny. I've never tried her plant-based facials but heard they are excellent. As for parking, there are plenty of metered parking spots around the salon.

(See below) Shaila, It clearly states on your website that there is a 5 min grace period after the appointment. This is LA for goodness sake. However, I'm all about respecting people's time. Anytime that I was late it was within a few minutes of my actual appointment and I always apologized with grace. I want to make clear that Shaila never once expressed discomfort or annoyance at my tardiness. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I always apologized immediately upon walking into the appointment if I was a few minutes late, and she would act super chill and reassure me that all was good. So I never once thought that this would be a concern, especially one leading her to make such a drastic move like blocking me as a client, especially with no warning! Shaila, people cannot read minds. You cannot on one hand reassure me through your words that anytime I was late that it was ok and nothing to worry about, and then turn around and just ghost me without explanation. That makes no sense, and especially from a business/leadership standpoint, just shows that you have very poor communication, business and interpersonal skills. Everyone deserves at least one chance to correct a behavior if it's bothering someone, especially one that they aren't even made aware of. The fact that you couldn't even express your discomfort, and at the very least give me a warning, so that I could correct a problem that I wasn't even aware was a problem, is seriously concerning and is more of a testament to your character instead of mine. I'm going to safely assume that you blocked me in your booking system a month ago after my last appointment. So all of this time you didn't feel the need to give me a heads up that you would no longer take me as a client, and I don't think that you ever had plans on saying anything. Hence why my messages were getting ignored. So what was your plan? To just leave me hanging in silence and hope that I magically read your mind? What if I would have naively showed up at your studio to get in contact with you thinking that my messages weren't going through because your booking system was broke? Can you imagine how awkward that would have been?! All of this chaos could have simply been avoided if you would have put on your big girl pants and spoke up if something was bothering you. Lastly, the subliminals were for me. I would respect you more if you stood on business and not cower from your petty choice. If you were bold enough to block me with no explanation, ignore my messages, and post subs directly after I message you after instagram showed that you opened my message, then I expect for you to stand 10 toes down on your decision and own it.
