I was recommended to Yvonne by a friend who has been seeing her for years and she did not disappoint! On top of being a great esthetician, she's also a warm, kind, and easy person to talk to. I got microblading done to fill out my eyebrows and Yvonne did an amazing job from start to finish. Because I'm allergic to many products, she suggested we test the products (numbing cream and ink) on a little spot behind my ear a week or two before getting my eyebrows done. Once we made sure I was in the clear, she agreed to come in on her only day off because that was the only day that worked with my crazy schedule. She made sure I was comfortable during the 2ish hour procedure and that I was truly happy with the shape she had drawn out for my brows before she began blading. UPDATE: In response to Yvone's response: Id like to just take a minute to point a few things out. Its very unfortunate that you don't want to address any of my ACTUAL issues which I feel you just keep ignoring over and over, ( the only reason I decided to bring this to yelp) My 2 cents, if customer service is so important to you, I suggest you learn how to listen to the client not just ignore what they've said and make the same excuses over and over, because if you had read any of my emails you'd have noticed I touched on every matter you mentioned below. I suppose you just didnt have a good answer for any of these things so you choose to continue to bulldoze over any of my points. 1.You said " I measured and mapped you as I do all my clients. I always take a photo of the clients. I would never free hand or not measure accordingly as everyone's brows is based on their facial features" First, in my email to you, the question was "Like I said in my last email , when I look at and speak to any other artist that provides this service ( and as I sent you photos of from websites ) they all tell me the same thing , which is during the procedure they never actually start tattooing anything permanent until both eyebrows shapes are penciled in and approved . This seems to be done after measuring the points of the clients face to ensure symmetry and precision . I feel this is a very VERY important step you skipped over with me . Would you not have photos of this otherwise ? Or my approval somewhere ? " Yvonne your own words to me in my appointment when I asked if I was going to be able to see when you were mapping were "No Don't pay any attention to what Im doing here this is just mu guide, It wont make any sense to you or give you any indication of what your brows will look like, its just a sort of road map for me" And While measuring ones face creates perfect symmetry , it can also create facial proportions to become highly unsatisfactory as no one persons face is perfectly symmetrical. So, while your response here on yelp, sounds good........ you STILL have yet to address the issue as to why , unlike EVERY other microblading artist you don't feel the need to approve the shape with the client first by penciling in the brow AFTER you've done your map? or was this just the case with me? 2. As far as the color choice. Again, I ve said it MANY times, YES, you let me choose from several different swatches, the thing you keep completely disregarding or hearing me say, is that you didn't choose 4 different COLORS for me to choose from. Like a dark blonde, taupe( the color I asked for) a light brown and a dark brown you simply choose 4 different shades of dark brown for me to choose from. They were all the same color in darkness just different tones. One ash, one warm, one neutral and one you mixed. Thats hardly giving me an option of different eyebrow colors, thats one color. One color you choose based on my hair color. Which is exactly what you told me is how you did it. You even said " well if your going to change your hair color tell me now cause thats how I choose the color" Every other artist Ive spoken to since tells me this is NEVER the way to do it, ALWAYS base eyebrow color on skin tone. Which I found out why, my eyebrows were BLACK when you did them. And I don't mean right after, I mean months later. 3. I didn't come back to you because to be honest, Once I realized how .....different your technique was to all the other successful artists who's work I liked, I wasn't going to risk making them worse then they already were just to appease you. Im sorry, but it was pretty clear to me through your technique and your lack of knowledge that I wanted my brows to be taken care of elsewhere. Mind you they were the wrong shape, lopsided, 5 shades to dark and nothing like what I showed you the picture of, and I felt completly uncomfortable going back, I didn't need the stress of going through a second experience when I already knew you wouldn't work with me on a shape beforehand. I wasn't going to convince you to change your technique, rather I was going to find someone whose technique I agreed with, it just made more sense. NO one I had a consult with based color on hair color they ALL said that was a big NO no and always to base it on skin Tone. That was reason enough, why would I go back and expect a different result? 4. The fact that you would stoop so low as too suggest I lied about giving you a cash tip. to suggest that just because I had gone through breast cancer a year before and lost my career that It would be so outrageous that I would tip you well, just so you could pocket it and not have to refund it to me. Well that speaks volumes now doesn't it. We both know the truth about that one, so Ill just leave it at that. read more

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Yvonne. She came highly recommended to me by my friend when I was looking for an esthetician. That was 3 years ago. I started seeing her for my waxing needs while she was at Queen Bee. When I heard that she no longer worked there, I contacted her directly and followed her to Burbank (I live in West LA) before she settled in Santa Monica. With that said, that is how great Yvonne is. I am willing to travel just so I can retain her because as we all know that once you find your person, you're pretty much imprinted for life. FANTASTIC RESULTS!! I am very happy with my new eyebrows. I can go without make and not feel embarrassed about my eyebrows. I can add a little bit of eyebrow pencil for a more dramatic effect. The color and shape is very natural looking. My appointment experience was relaxing. Nice ambiance. Yvonne will periodically check different angles to make sure they eyebrows have proper symmetry and depth. No problems healing. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend her to anyone!!!
