She is basically an eyelash whisperer as she recommends what style and length will make you feel like a princess and she always takes her time to make sure your lashes are on point! While the price for the service might be a bit pricey for some, it is definitely worth it! Plus, if you to decide to continue with the upkeep, the prices go down. AWESOMMME! I'm looking forward to my next visit with Ultralashe; I'm thinking of making this an annual summer treat to myself! Bonus- she has a super cute and playful little dog that likes to say hello every now and then. :)

The tech just lays you down and starts doing stuff without really asking or confirming with you what you want, and explaining to you whether she will be using a rod, or a shield, or nothing (in my case). No, she just used a flat silicone mold that provides a look as if you just had bent your lashes with a cheap eyelash curler. At the end she just tells me to bring a photo next time, why didn't you ask me for it before starting -_-. I wrote in their intake form "natural" look, this is sooo not natural.

They are a bit long for everyday wear though so hopefully when I have my fills done we can place the shorter sport length lashes in. When I left she said "you won't like them for a little while give it a few days." So I gave it a few days, my eyelashes were very heavy they did not lift or open my eyes if anything they made they look closed and very fake. I fallowed all the instructions that were given. Within a few days they started falling out as this was happening I noticed the extensions were actually two strands applied to one strand of natural eyelashes. As more fell out my eyes looked more natural. I had paid for the extensions and one refill so I called to see if they could be removed instead of refilled she said she would charge me another $20 to remove even though I already paid for a refill that I wouldn't be getting. In a week exactly they were all off without having to pay an extra $20.

That said, it doesn't come cheap; my highlights and layer trim were $300. I used a level-2 stylist, so it was $75/hour. After the complimentary consultation where we discussed at length my expectations, we booked a four-hour appointment on her professional estimation. Sounded close to right (previous experiences elsewhere were easily over 3 hours). But the actual appointment was 5 hours long! Yikes. Sylvia did a meticulous job of highlight foils, and my hair is very thick, so the timing, though surprising, was not without reason. By the time she'd finished the semi-blowout, the color was no-hum though. She asked my thoughts and agreed with me that the desired red was not nearly met. She booked a follow up at my earliest availability, free of charge of course, to re-tone. The second attempt was about two hours after styling, and just about perfect. The color is almost exactly like the sample I provided. It is a subtle but noticeable change that looks very natural, but with a coppery pop. The trim was perhaps too minimal, but to her credit, I told her my exclusive curly-cut stylist back East would be seeing me in 6 weeks and is territorial enough to keep me hesitant of betraying her with another haircutter. As such, we had agreed upon a simple layer cleanup. I am extremely happy with the service, with the product, and with the experience in general. Sylvia was delightful and very attentive and interested in ensuring I was happy. Lord knows I've had more experienced stylists impart DISASTROUS results, and not nearly as gracious about remediating.
