I haven't actually been here. This is simply my experience after contacting them. Backstory: I'm a cancer patient who has finished chemo. I've lost my hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows. A friend recommended microblading so this was one of the few places I contacted. I emailed them telling them a little about my situation and asked about pricing. They got back to me quickly. In the email they told me they wouldn't touch my brows unless I'm a year out of chemo. I mentioned this to my oncologist and she was shocked. I'm a little over a month out. I've had surgery and will be doing radiation soon. They want in writing from my doctor saying it's ok. They also mentioned that anywhere else that's doing this before a year is wrong. After reading that and talking to my doctor I decided it wasn't worth it. They left a salty taste in my mouth. This isn't my first let down with this type of service. I'm beyond hurt. I've given up on microblading and will try natural remedies to help my brows fill in. read more

I was lucky enough to win a body treatment and mini facial through a local giveaway in December. I finally made it in tonight and had a great experience! Fabulash is easy to find, not far from I-84. Theparking in front really horrified me as I wasn't sure how I could drive by without sideswiped the parked cars but I safely made it in and out of my spot. I was greeted by the receptionist, filled out some information on my skin and then was whisked away to the back room. The room had some very nice, soothing music in the background and the lighting was set just right for this service. Dim, but not pitch black. After some local searching, I decided on Lash Esthetica for my eyelash extensions. I've never had the semi-permanent kind before, and wanted to start giving them a try before my wedding. So far so good! It's such a difference getting the individual lashes, versus the cluster ones. They adhere to your lashes instead of to the eyelid skin, so you don't pull out your real eyelashes when taking them off. They are lightweight and don't feel artificial and heavy the way the cluster lashes do. I did have a few fall off the first night, and here and there for the last few days (it's been about a week since I had them put on), but I think this is probably normal since they are attached to real lashes, which do fall out. Even though some have fallen out, there are enough remaining that they still look great, and I've continued to get compliments on them. It's great waking up looking like I'm wearing mascara! Emily did my lashes, and she was friendly and expert. I'd definitely recommend going to her! These are pricey, but so far they seem worth it. read more

Over the course of a year I met two ladies (on seperate occasions) with amazing lashes and I had to ask if they were natural. They both informed me they were extensions done by an esthetician named Jessica in West Hartford. I immediately got her information and made an appointment. I was nervous my first visit but it was painless and Jessica made me feel comfortable and relaxed. When she was finished I was surprised by the results, they looked so natural and I had no irritation. I love that you don't need to wear mascara and you're able to continue your normal face cleansing regimen without them falling out. The false lashes grow out with your natural lashes so no need to get them removed unless you want to. I don't get them done on on a regular basis but I do love how they look when I have them. read more

I don't wear makeup at all... and I wanted something that would make a change to the look of my eyes without putting makeup on. I've seen women with these lashes and it was always really beautiful and natural looking. When I made the appointment I thought I would choose the natural look verses the more noticeable long look. When I was in the front waiting room I was sitting with a woman who had them, and she said "if you're going to get them, don't try to hide them, let everyone see them. I thought she was right and I got the black color and the long look. It's a VERY different look for me, and everyone I see talks about how beautiful I look. They never mention my lashes, they just ask "what have you done?". My boyfriend LOVES them and I'm very happy with the results. Went in for lash lift and tint. Although the technician was polite the rest of the experience was terrible. The door was open during the whole procedure, people can be heard in the hall, and also came to the doorway and spoke to technician during the procedure. My lashes look awful! They are too curled and are going in different directions. I had to go to another place to try and have the process reversed and corrected which they were unable to do because of the cheap product that was used here. It completely ruined my lashes. If it were possible, I would give zero stars for this review. When I received email survey, I stated that I was not satisfied. Not that I would have gone back to allow them to correct it, but no one even bothered to reach out. I definitely would not recommend & I will never return! read more

Beyond over priced, with a very loud environment. This is not somewhere that you can relax. I was in a private room but could clearly hear the conversation next door. For first time lash extension, I was charged almost 400 dollars. Whereas other lash businesses average around 120-200. I will never go here again. read more

I will also state i have not had lashes done here, this rating is in response to the service alone, not the quality of work. Terribly turned off by the customer service I received, and based on reviews - its a common thread. It seems that this place does quality work, but its unfortunate the customer service doesn't match up. When I finally got them on the phone, the technician (not sure if it was the owner) went into a diatribe borderline insulting my current lashes. Their website specifically states "they respect another artists work.." but when you tell them that you have lashes she goes into a rant on how they cant guarantee what I am saying I have on the phone is accurate and that it may be slightly higher based on the technicians view. I stopped her to tell her I completely understand, I have gotten my lashes done for over a year and know that good work comes at a price, I have not gone to places when the prices are too low because I know that this means the quality wont be as good, and price is not a concern as much as having a quality job done and that if needed i would take off all of my lashes and have them put on a new set. She quite rudely responded with "that's not what she was implying" (not sure what else she would be implying as she mentioned cost several times in 1 minute, nor why should would be so rude to someone who literally just said they would get a removal AND a full set if needed) and continued on to basically say the same thing. Needless to say, I was turned off and will not be going here. First impressions are key in this world and someone with a small business should know that above anything else. read more

I am now a lash addict thanks to Fabulash Company!! I have wanted them for sometime but I held off due to the investment. I recently heard of a promotion that is taking place call Flirty Tuesday & Thursday. Full sets are $100 for short period of time . Not sure how long this promotion is going on for but it's the best time to take advantage!!! The service was fantastic and the ladies are very professional. Wow! This place is phenomenal. I was traveling in Connecticut for work and needed to get my lashes done last minute. I called a bunch of places in the area and was uneasy about the services. After calling and speaking with Jessica it was absolutely clear this was the place to go. The establishment is clean, cozy and well maintained. Jessica has a true passion for her art and hires and empowers her employees to do their best work each and every time. Not only was she beyond accommodating but she even stayed late to fit me in. Her work was flawless and I received comments about how great and natural my lashes looked! If you want quality lashes that are reasonably priced and done right, this is exactly where you should go! I was excited for my appointment to get extensions (especially because it took me months to get an appointment) for the first time but was really disheartened. I arrived early, filled out paperwork, was offered water and sat while 2 other women walk in, one taken in immediately and the other waiting as well. I was not told that jessica was not the one going to be working on me, as I was told on the phone at the time of making my appointment, but rather another esthetician with far less experience (2 vs 10 years experience). Although she answered my questions, she did not explain one step of what she would be doing and more importantly, when it would be happening (this was especially distressing when I was sprayed with water with no warning - quite the shocker). Further, the esthetician became very short and frustrated with me because, I explained to her multiple times I was sensitive with eye touching and she would need to be patient with me. Also, since I was new to this process I wanted to know my options and would have appreciated a gentler touch not to mention knowing what was to happen- especially with your eyes closed in a new environment. For goodness sake you are trusting a virtual stranger with your eyes- patience should be required at every turn!! My time was interrupted numerous times by another newer esthetician who my girl needed to check her work. It is very unnerving to be in a new environment, eyes closed and hearing the door creaking open constantly, loud talking & laughing in the hall & knowing others were walking around the room & my person leaving the room multiple times. Immediately after the service was finished she asked what I thought. How am I supposed to know what they're supposed to look or feel like, so my answer was good. However, I arrived home and found my lashes thick, hard and shedding. To the credit of the esthetician she did have the smarts to consult with jessica about my allergy concerns & after I complained in front of jessica about being interrupted multiple times during my service, when jessica admitted she was available for consult by the new girl & my service didn't need to be interrupted, in addition I complained about not being told what would be happening to me & that I was especially distressed about being sprayed with water on my lids without warning, I was offered 15% off my fill, which I cancelled. I'll just wait until all of the lashes fall out & deal with whatever it looks like for a wedding I'm attending soon. My lashes feel thick, clumpy & look completely fake or someone who doesn't know how to apply mascara (similar to a stick on lash) and I was embarrassed at work today as people took double takes & looked away. Can't wait to see me in 3 weeks at a family wedding. My best advice would be to look elsewhere & think twice - no three times if extensions is the way you go. Good luck!!! read more

The quality, service, and charm of this establishment is top of the line. For perfect quality lashes I travel 2 hours to come here! Jessica, Emily and the whole staff are welcoming and talented. They are reasonably priced for the quality you get; and when it comes to lashes you shouldn't settle for less! I have been getting my lashes done for many years at an out of town salon. They always did a great job but wanted a place closer to home. I was really hoping this was the place-- it's not. When I went into the treatment room i first noticed that the smell of the room was terrible. Not the glue smell, but a musty, dirty smell. Then I noticed that the sheet on the table I was to lie on was dirty (!) with tossed lashes from the previous customer covering the sheet. The technician barely apologized when I pointed it out and simply brushed to used lashes off the sheet and told me to lay down. Yuck! She proceeded to answer my questions, but in a clipped hurried way. I reinforced that I wanted natural looking lashes, not too dramatic. She went to work and with my eyes closed you really can't tell what's going on. But when she started on my second eye, someone came into the room and informed her that her next appointment was there early. My technician then proceeded to rush through my second eye spending less than half the time on it that she did the first eye. When she handed me the mirror I couldn't believe what I saw. I had told her I am a business professional and didn't want anything too dramatic. She gave me the most absurd long curled eyelashes-- I was horrified. They were nothing like the quality and care I had gotten at the previous salon. Once I got home, I realized how itchy and pokey the new lashes were. My former lashes (also synthetic) had been so natural feeling and comfortable, but these were a constant reminder of their presence. Also, as they fell out, I was able to see that she had glued clumps of lashes on my left eye instead of gluing them individually as they are supposed to do. Don't go here. I recently got my lash extensions done for the first time. I really wanted to get them done but was a little skeptical, I went for it anyways! It was the best decision I could have made my lash artist was so sweet she answered all my questions very carefully and made sure It was a very comfortable environment for me the girl in the front was very helpful offered me tea and water and booked out all of my appointments in advance which is very important for me being that I have a tight schedule. I love that I don't need any mascara I wake up and how natural my lashes look. read more

I have been a customer for over a year. I go to Jessica every two weeks for a fill, and paid $67 (including 20% tips). Her customer service skills is terrible. She throw a temper tantrum in front of me many times. She yelled at her staff in front of my face with loud voices and her spits on my face....Also, she hasn't been using Nova lash products on me.
