If you are on a hunt for an eyelash extension place, cross this place off your list right now. This place is a ripoff and disappointing. For $400, my lashes didn't even last a week. Seriously-- Save your time and money. The lashes are not worth $400. First, the Lashes weren't longer than my regular eyelashes (defeating the purpose of eyelash extensions), They looked like my regular lashes! What left me disappointed was that the lashes fell off two days later. It didn't even last a week! The lashes came off on one side of my eye leaving spaces the next day (So at this point better off without them). Since the lashes were falling off, it left open gaps. So I called to get them removed and they were charging me an additional $45 for their mistake! Heads up, they also ask for a no refundable deposit of $50, to secure an appointment so plan accordingly. I would discourage anyone trying to get Lashes to come here. It's not worth the total $400 I spent here. Hope this is helpful. Later I showed my friends the lashes and they asked me the place I got them done so they wouldn't come to this location. So yes--- It really soured my first eyelash extension experience. UPDATE: I reached out to the owner about this back when service was not rendered only for Jolie to inform me I had to pay additional money for removing the lashes. And if I wanted new lashes I had to pay for a new set! I found this unbelievable considering I had payed $400 already for horrible lashes and she wanted me to pay her another $400? No way. Seeing as Jolie did not want to refund or provide adequate service I decided it was best to not invest any further money into this establishment because I didn't want to get ripped off anymore. As I would end up paying for a service that should have been delivered in the first place. I already took a huge financial loss giving away $400 to this place. read more

When I relocated to Northern VA, I was on the hunt for a new lash studio. I'm glad I took a chance on Lash Jolie, even though it's a 40 minute drive - it's worth it! I have been coming to Jacqueline for about 5 months now and couldn't be happier with her services. She carries Xtreme Lashes and applies them with excellent precision. Her and her staff are all medically trained, which is a definite plus. I've never walked away dissatisfied. She always takes the time to perfect and modify your lashes before you head out the door. I feel totally comfortable asking for modifications, if needed. She chats as much or as little as you like, makes for a very comfortable, not awkward experience. The studio is in a beautiful, secure building and is clean and comfy. There is a large parking garage and many other businesses in the building (i.e., barre studio, nail salon, hair salon, etc) - I always stop and get my nails done after my lashes - one stop shop! I also love that she's accommodating with scheduling. Most communication is done via text (easy!) and she's very responsive. I Bought the deal through Yelp for new customers, and booked my appointment well in advance. The space is cute, well-appointed and have nice products for you to use for makeup removal. You get a free makeup remover if you check in through Yelp upon your first appointment. Her assistants are super sweet. They are always more than happy to help and make sure you are truly satisfied with your beautiful set of lashes. They have great customer service, which speaks volumes. Initially I started off with the full set which came out great, but I felt these extensions were a bit too minimal for what I was going for. So as I keep on coming back for refills, Jacqueline takes her time to customizes my own set of lashes. Now I feel INSANELY gorgeous! These lashes are definitely a confidence booster when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup. They give my eyes some drama without being too over the top. The only downside is when you actually decide to wear eye makeup, you have to be EXTREMELY gentle when taking it off, or you'll lose a couple of lashes. It can be a little time consuming. I've been seeing Jacqueline every three weeks for 5 years now. Her work is incredible, and she's truly an artist. She can adapt your look, fullness, length, shape, and even color to achieve whatever look you're going for. Sometimes I will come in looking for something natural and a little closer to my reddish brown hair, and other times I'll be looking for a very dramatic look. I always leave feeling wonderful and confident about the way I look. I went in with a very precise desciption of the look that I was trying to achieve. I was also very clear about providing that description. Unfortunately, I did not have the type of eyelashes to achieve that look. Instead of telling me right away, she told me at the completion of the process -- and clearly knew that I was not happy. I went in to get a natural look for my first time doing eyelash extensions. I noticed during the procedure that my right eye started stinging, but I just brushed it off and thought, well it's probably nothing. Then I got home and had serious migraines because my right eye really started throbbing from the irritation of the glue in my eye. I paid $350 for this whole set of custom eye lashes and honestly I really regret it because no amount of beauty is worth an eye infection. My right eye hurt for a solid two days with migraines. Then the eye lashes started coming off , and when the eyelashes started coming off so did my NATURAL eyelashes. I literally have almost no natural eye lashes now! I will never do this again, I wanted to try it but 1. It took forever for them to even see me, 2. The result wasn't like that amazing, it really was hard to blink and see straight after getting the treatment. I'm done with this place , and I will not be going back! read more

I wanted to love this place, and the people, and tried to give it every possible oppportunity for a good review. My first visit was in December 30, 2017, I have had one full set, followed by refill (January 24, 2018). In between, I went in for a correction- few lashes were glued directly on the eyelash line (hurt like a thorn). These are synthetic mink and despite folllowing the directions for its upkeep, from day one, at least 3-4 lashes per eye would fall out. I was told it was normal. The initial set were so long and unnatuarally curved. I went back for adjustment, few were taken off and some added to the ends. Ok. Second fill was beautiful, although clearly seen as falsies. I was trying to get naturally full lashes, that follow my eyeline shape. My refill was supposed to be 2 days ago, and I said I would take a break. Then I added picture to raise my concern re: the viability of my own lashes. I received a "thanks for the feedback" text. I texted "help", no reply. I called- and the people who were so helpful and kind were gone. Instead, sorry, no openings, busy time of year." busier than new years, valentines etc? Even after I explained how horrible my lashes looked. No effort to even solve. And to add insult to injury- I just got a text "use lash serum that will regrow your lashes healthy"!!!! Now i am FURIOUS. My lashes were healthy until their extensions pulled them out. So all the understanding care was a nice cover. So here I am 6 weeks since having this bright idea, half my own lashes are gone and wisps are growing in different areas, with a few synthetic lashes sticking out. Not even the best Mascara (better than sex/Benefit) can make them semi normal. I have never had such thin lashes in my entire life. Keep looking, I know their are places that do higher quality work for less, not that price is the issue. This is not the place to visit. read more

Editing my review to 5-stars: I think I was just stunned by how different my lashes looked and wasn't used to them but after a few compliments and looking at them in passing, they're actually very, very well done (albeit they're still a tad too curly for my liking but only a tad). The customer service was great. They got me in right away. Everyone was very kind during my appointment. However I specifically asked if they could match the type of lash i get at my usual lash studio (the owner was on vacation) and they said yes over the phone. When i came in they looked at my lashes and told me that the Xtreme pho mink would work; However I'm not happy that I paid $100 for these unnatural, heavy, hard lashes. My usual lash studio supersedes the quality of lash products and when my lashes are done they don't feel hard and heavy, and it doesn't even feel like you have anything done.
