On August 4, 2017, I went into lash lab as a new client, to get a fill. Approximately 15-20 minutes into my session, my lash technician (Mandy) proceeded to have the sniffles. It was a little distracting, but not a big deal. However, about 5 minutes later she proceeds to do large inhales of snot and mucous. Her nose became so stuffed up that I could smell and feel her breath on my face. She then started coughing, and walked away twice to blow her nose. I laid there with my eyes taped up, feeling very vulnerable, and debating whether I should ask for another technician. I rationalized (in my head) that she was almost done. That night my throat started feeling a bit "scratchy", so I decided to go to bed early. I woke up feeling congested and with a sore throat. I called and spoke to Ditre, and explained what had happened (Ditre was also at the shop when Mandy filled my lashes). She stated that Mandy had been on antibiotics for 5 days due to bronchitis. I expressed that a policy needs to be put in place for employees that are sick. She should have at least been considerate enough to have worn a mask over her mouth. Needless to say, if you have a weak immune system, get sick easily, or have a newborn (or have a family member that's more susceptible to illness) then do yourself a favor and book at a DIFFERENT lash salon. read more

Found this place on Yelp while on vacation in Anaheim. The ease of booking an appointment online was great, everything was automated confirmation, online consent form and thank you. The front desk made you feel welcomed at check in and checkout. I needed a lash fill and I decided on a volume mixed set and Saya was awesome. She was professional courteous and sweet. The lashes came out so much lighter and better than my current classic synthetic set, I got for my birthday/Mother's Day. The lash lab uses silk lashes and they look amazing. I have NEVER had a bad experience and if anything didn't look like I needed it too she made it right Immediately. This one woman, single mom owned shop deals with the hiring issues from time to time and because of her excellent product her gals and her put out she is busy, busy, busy. Lets see why I gave a really bad review compared to the many good-- I got my lashes done a few month ago with Chini. She was great-- very patient and really worked hard for about 3 hours while I was sleeping getting in all the individual lashes. I really thought that I would get them retouched regularly afterwards for 40$-- trust me I have no lashes and I would do this forever. Chini said she wont be back so I followed up with Detri for my retouch... Why I give it a two star is because for the past few months, I was trying to follow up with Detri or anyone else in lash-lab to get them redone/retouched, she never answers her phone (when I leave a message she never calls back), or if she does, she says she will get back to me and never does. I have called her several times and this has happened so many times. I payed around 160$ for a complete set and tip, and I never got to get them retouched. Its bad business when you leave a customer hanging especially when I got the full-set done in order to get them retouched regularly. I am very disappointed read more

I appreciate how quiet Shannon was since I'm not a big talker during a lash service. My only concern with my first visit is that I purchased the Yelp Deal. Being an independent contractor myself; I made sure to read through in case the deal was only valid with specific stylists. The deal has very little to no specifications aside from must be used in one day. Unfortunately, Shannon explained she is independent and does not take the deal. Detri is ridiculously great at what she does. My eyelash extensions are so gorgeous. I'm so happy. I got my first set from a DIFFERENT place I found on yelp first (my lashes there were much shorter, thinner & kept falling out. When that lady recommended me buying her serum to keep them in at $20. -I did, the. She told me my eyelids are too oily so they're falling out, then she recommended me coming every 7 days for a fill at $40. For a 30 minute service! Then I was done and went looking for someone before I got what little was there removed!! Now-found detri over 2 months ago and my eyelashes are long, t Full, wispy, gorgeous and they DO NOT FALL OUT whatsoever (besides normal shedding!) Detri is cool, makes you feel relaxed and the end result is so beautiful. Oh and her fills are never less than an hour- she doesn't rush through like the other place I went to- she does Quality work. I found Lash Lab on yelp after I had my lashes done somewhere else and they were terrible. I gave them a call and they were able to fit me in the same day. They were able to completely fix them and made them 1000% better. I honestly cannot thank them enough because this all happened two days before my wedding. I really feel comfortable there and so comfortable that I fall asleep almost within 10 minutes. I get my lashes done by Pixy and she's super sweet and easy to talk too. I notice that they are getting very busy and its because they are so good! My lashes are very full and not too long because I wear eyeglasses and if I got them too long it would bend when wearing my eyeglasses and probably damage my real eyelashes. Detri is simply the best! I signed up for the Classic Facial and from start to finish it was amazing. She did a great job at making me feel welcome at the salon and making sure I was comfortable in the procedure room. She then asked me various questions to assess my skin type and asked if certain products were ok to use. The whole facial was so relaxing. She then recommended a face wash for me to use as a follow up. The next day my skin looked so much better and my problem areas, in particular, were better. Words cannot express how much I appreciate Brittany and her amazing customer service. I reached out to her after having a horrible experience with my last set of lashes. (From nail salon) They were so bad I was embarrassed to look at anyone when I spoke to them. I had gone to several places to try and have them removed but the glue was thick no one would even give me the time of day! Brittany on the other hand took the time to help me. She walked me through the process step by step via text message and phone calls. During the procedure she was cautious and very attentive. My lashes are absolutely beautiful now and I can't thank her enough. As for some of the bad reviews on here, I feel every one reacts differently to the lash adhesive and overall procedure. For any potential customers please don't let the negative comments about "red eyes" or "burning" prevent you from getting your lashes done here. This review is just for the lash lift/perm and tint. I've done a lash lift a few times already, but it was my first time here and I probably won't come back for that service. There were a few things that wouldn't make me come back from my eyes burning to the tint not even showing. But the worst part of this lift is that my lashes aren't even straight.
