Lash Luxe is by far the best lash extension salon I have gone to. I felt very welcome on my first visit. This included a thorough consultation with the lash technician, Yetta. She has so much knowledge on the style of lashes (curly and semi-curly), layout (natural vs cat-eye). The session itself was very relaxing, and I was asleep for most of it! I woke up with gorgeous yet natural-looking glossy, dark lashes. WOW effect! I went back for a fill already and was treated with the same respect and attention to detail as my first time. I wanted curlier and fuller lashes, so my technician came up with a nice compromise of putting in a few curlier ones and we achieved a more curly set. Overall, Yetta is very friendly and will always greet you with a smile. I was so impressed that I am bringing my friends with me next time. I will definitely be coming back all the time now. I have gotten so many compliments that I almost don't want to tell people that my lashes are extensions, but I believe in spreading the love. After feeling the enormous guilt of getting my eyelash extensions done else where for $435 , and never hearing the end of it from my family and friends especially after having them fall out after just a short 3 days, I was referred by a co worker to Lash Luxe and I am so thankful for it! When I arrived there was pay to park street parking and Yetta was kind enough to give me her free parking spot in the back so I wouldn't have to stress about feeding my meter. Her space is small but beautifully decorated , very clean and had a very calming affect about it. She was very well put together and knew her stuff! She gave me all her beauty secrets and we chatted the whole time like we knew each other forever! When it came to my eyelash extensions they were beyond my expectation, so beautiful! After 5 weeks of still having most of them in I decided it was time for a fill, she was all booked for the day but agreed to stay after just to meet my needs. I visited Chicago for the day, and I was taken to the friendly, competent Yetta for my keratin lash lift and tint. (I might as well get "the works" - right?) There was no opportunity for me to worry about what was going to happen, because Yetta patiently explained each step and told me what to expect. What I didn't expect was to look in the mirror and see MY lashes look like false ones. Were my lashes actually that long all of those years? Even mascara couldn't make them look like this! Ladies let me just tell you there's a huge difference between a lash lift/lash perm and a KERATIN lash lift. After living out of state for a couple of years I was getting keratin lash lifts every 8-10 weeks and they would gradually get back to normal by the 8 weeks with no damage. When coming back home to Chicago I couldn't believe the struggle in finding a keratin lash lift professional and just ended up settling for the regular lash perm/ lift and that left my lashes dry, weak, and way too curly! I gave up for some time until I came across Yetta at Lash Luxe Chicago! I noticed her price menu mentioned she did keratin lash lifts and I had to call with all my questions. Went to get a full set of eye lash extensions for my brothers wedding a week in advance. the day of the wedding they were still perfect. Yetta did an amazing job. At the wedding I was getting compliments that my eyelashes looked fake but so natural. (if that makes sense) but I loved them because yes they look natural and not to dramatic. These lashes are so comfortable you honestly don't feel them on nor do they feel heavy. I've got them done before at a nail salon and I will never go back. I came here right when it opened after going else where and received a terrible eye infection. I loved the way they looked for the first couple of hours that I decided maybe it was the place and not the actual eyelash extensions.
