Came here for a lash extension. Totally damaged my natural lashes. Multiple lashes glued together. Some glued them to my lid. Tried a different technician after Sasha butchered them... same problem. Shelly literally took her time removing lashes that were growing downward. My lashes were so bad I went to another lash bar to get them removed 2 days later & got the feedback from my lashes being glued to my eyelid from another salon. And they really only do cash. They disconnect the internet cord on their credit card machine so you have to pay cash. The unprofessionalism from the owner is what prompted me not coming here. Never knew how bad of a job they did until I went somewhere else to compare. read more

I was very disappointed that I came all the way from Midtown and couldn't get my lashes done but I appreciate the owners honesty in saying she didn't feel right to do my lashes because I didn't have enough and it wasn't healthy. For that I recommend going to her just make sure you go in person instead of sending a picture. It will save you a trip lol read more

So I had gone to this place a few times, and I went back a few days ago to get my lashes done after 2 years. I've always been fond of the lash work I've had done, and even now, my lashes are beautiful, but my lash technician has not been pleasant. First off, when the tech was putting the eye stickers under my eye, she was not pleasant when asking me to keep my eyes open. Mind you, I have very sensitive eyes and from the few lash techs I've seen, this one was rude. I've made her aware that I have very sensitive eyes and she was still rude. Second, it seems like she was rushing to do my lashes, because she was done in an hour. My appointment was at 3:30 and she took me around 3:45 because she had a client prior, and she was done with me by 4:30. Out of all the lash techs I've seen before, she was definitely rushing because when I had gone to the place 2 years ago, my lash tech then was very nice and she took time to do my lashes instead of rushing (I always get the same set when I go to this place, so I know for a fact that the tech I saw, Saraswoti, was rushing because it normally takes over an hour to do the set I got). Lastly, when I was paying, I was fine with paying with my card, even knowing that there was a $13 surcharge for using a card, so after I paid for my set, I wanted to give the tech a little tip, and I had asked her for her Zelle, and she gave it to me, but she was hovering over me, trying to see how much I was going to tip her, like talk about being money hungry!! And what's sad is, she kept on rushing me to leave because the Zelle app was taking a little longer to load, and she kept on saying, "Oh the app is taking too long, you can tip me a different way" and I was pretty straight on tipping her through Zelle. It pains me to write this review because I know businesses are struggling right now and the lash lady was so sweet. But I'm leaving an honest review because I went to this place based on the reviews and had a bad experience. I messaged them ahead of time to let them know that it would be my first time so I would like help picking out a set that's right for me. Upon arriving, the lady I was assigned to didn't know it was my first time and didn't take any time to go over thickness or curl (only length). I told her I wanted a more natural look and came out with a super dramatic look. First time visiting the place and first time having an eyelash extension. The manager was super nice and great. I had a same day appointment and she promised me that my experience will be amazing. Well, she did keep her promise. She advised me to start with classic set and some lengths and it was GREAT. Shelly / Sheila was so smooth and I couldn't believe that an hour passed. It felt like 10 min. I was super nervous in the whole process but she was extremely patient with me while I was trying to take deep breath :D She was very efficient and took her time. The result was amazing and I couldn't stop looking at myself. My eyes were not sore not burning. My eyes were not even irritated which means they use great quality in their products. Wow... 10/10. The staff and owner here are so kind and you can tell that their products are great quality. Previous lash places I've been to charge about twice the price and leave your eyes red for days after the appointment, but this place didn't even leave my eyes red even despite me having sensitive eyes. The owner is such a sweet lady and the lash techs are amazing, professional, careful and cautious. Also the decorations here are to die for !!!! So cute, they're totally worth it. Ive had these lashes for about 4 weeks now and they lasted me through heat and beach water every day during my trip to Florida. I love LashOut! After a few uncomfortable experiences at another lash place in Astoria I've only been back here. When I make my appointments I book with "soonest available" because I've never been unhappy with anyone's work. They've also been really flexible. One week when I wasn't feeling well I needed to cancel last minute. The only charged me the day after that when I rescheduled and STILL couldn't make it. They're worth it time and time again. You can quietly sit there and just relax. They're really upfront about how they appreciate payments and I usually pay by Venmo. It you know anything about credit card machines they charge HUGE percentage fees. When you're talking about a small business that's taking money out of the lash techs pocket. Most small businesses charge a credit card fee for this reason. You're paying $120+ for your lashes and won't pay a credit card fee? Lashes are a luxury service and if you can't afford them please go get some strip lashes, ruin your eyelashes, and stay home. Don't believe the troll. LASHOUT FOREVER! read more

The owner is a nice women. I had sasha as my eyelash technician . I came in for a hybrid new set of lashes. from the time i sat in the chair, used the restroom and paid it took a total of 45minutes which was impressive to me. From first glance they looked great, however my eyes were red for days i had severe allergies from the glue. I texted the owner the following day to confirm that my lashes were a mix of individual and fans. She said she would confirm with Sasha and get back to me. Just from looking in the mirror i could tell they were all fans. She got back to me and said they were a mixture. A few days later my eyelashes were hurting they felt heavy in the corner. A week and a half later i went to remove my lashes at another salon. They showed me all of the lashes and they were all fans not one single lash. Which makes sense because she finished my set extremely quick. The owner is nice but i did not get what i paid for. I did ask for a long length however I'm not a professional lash tech, I was NOT!!!!!!!!!! Advised that they were too long nor would they be unhealthy for natural lashes. As the customer you're supposed to let me know "hey it might look a little crazy "and maybe add a few different lengths to make it look normal. Again, I'm not a professional I wouldn't know these things. I absolutely did not keep moving and attempted to open my eyes as the owner claims. Maybe that's what the lash tech told her to maybe explain why this occurred but it's not true, I actually peacefully fell asleep for the majority of the appointment. The lash tech did NOT ask me multiple times if I was okay and wanted to stop because I was not uncomfortable until the very end when I finally opened my eyes and they were too heavy to even open, as you can see from the pictures I have included. She did not suggest I came back for a complimentary removal, I came back to the shop after realizing the burning wouldn't stop for half an hour and asked for a removal. I was received a PARTIAL refund and she still Complained by saying it was against her company's policy.
