Oh my goodness! Last night I had my third lash extension service with Aubrey and I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am. I found Lashed Studio after trying a multitude of different lash services, lash artists and lash schools in San Jose and all over the Bay Area. I've been getting my lashes done for almost 10 years. I started getting my lashes done when the industry was not really even an industry. Believe me, I've tried them all. Aubrey is the absolute best. Seriously. My lashes are 100% exactly to a T what I want. Not only that, but Aubrey is an incredible human. She's intelligent, well spoken, a great listener, a problem solver and really incredible at customer service. Overall, she's amazing at what she does. Next week I'll be trying another lash artist at her studio. I trust her teaching and mentor skills implicitly. Lashed Studio may not be the most inexpensive studio around, but it is absolutely 100% well worth it. You will get the lashes you want with incredible service. Five stars, 10 out of 10, absolutely 100% recommend. Side note - if you're looking for massive broom, heavy heavy lashes, I don't know if this is the place for you. I like my lashes accented full, but also somewhat natural. This has been really hard to find and get perfect at any other place. Aubrey knows exactly how to do exactly what I want. I would like to start off by saying that I decided to try out Lashes by Audrey because my wonderful lash technician was out of commission due to a medical injury. The first day I came in was with Anne, Aubrey's assistant. Anne doesn't really try to get to know the clients or talk with them. But I was pleased with how my set came out although my lashes fell out within 2 weeks. It's not ideal, but I can deal with 2 weeks. For my fill I wanted to see how great Aubrey was so I made an appointment with her (the owner & master tech). Unfortunately I was disappointed. It had only been 2 weeks and she told me the next time I come in with very few lashes I would need to pay for a full set. The next day after my fill with Aubrey, my lashes fell out overnight and I had large gaps in my lashes. When I contacted the salon they said come right over so we can fix them! So I came in to get them fixed, within days they were falling out again. I contacted them again and they said they can move up my fill appointment - yes that's right I had to pay full price for a fill within a week which was $100. Weekly fills is very unreasonable and I will not be coming back. I do give the salon 2 stars because it is a very cute & clean salon & they are very responsive. I do not recommend Lashes by Aubrey if you want your lashes to last. BUT I will give a shoutout to the best lash salon. I cannot say enough good things about my long time tech at Vixen + Venom. CJ wants to get to know you on a personal level and will talk to you the entire time! She will always greet you with a hug & spend hours with you to make sure your lashes are perfect!! read more

Great work Cons: ***first timers beware*** They require a deposit to secure the appointment and they will cancel your appointment if you don't make the appointment within the first 2 days. I paid my appointment deposit 2 days later and 4 days before my appointment and my appointment was cancelled. Let them know and the appointment was back on. I made an appointment to see Anne after a horrendous experience with a previous Groupon deal (lesson learned: you definitely get what you pay for!!). You know you can absolutely trust a lash stylist when they tell you your lashes are not full enough to be serviced and that's exactly what Anne did. Most of my previous lashes were GONE and I was told to wait almost a month before coming back. So I patiently waited and even applied coconut oil on my natural lashes to help them grow in the meantime. Came back to see Anne and was thrilled to see the way my classic light set turned out. I felt like sleeping beauty! Closed my eyes for about an hour and a half and opened them again to see I had much longer and fuller looking natural looking lashes. Anne is so good at what she does! I've been going here for over 4 years now and I used to get classic, but after she did volume on me last year... I've never done classics again! Classics are nice but i love mine dramatic and full. Anne has never missed a single lash (always checking her work) and makes me feel comfortable every visit. Normally I'm supposed to get fills every 4-6 weeks but i can honestly go on until 8 weeks and they're still very full. I love that she recommends what's best for me and my eye shape. and since I have lashes and eyes that droop down, she's able to make it look sexy and so awake! LOVE! Waking up like this. Cindy is welcoming, nice, and always confirms my appointment. She never fails to confirm. Aubrey is super sweet, funny, humble, and has the most inventory of lashes of anyone i know. I had the lash lift with Dawn and the process was fine. I have straight Asian lashes, so although the lashes were lifted, it was more of an L shape than a J shape. They also try to up-sell you and try to sell their serum(~$65). That part wasn't so much the issue. The main thing I had an issue with was how brittle my lashes became. I notice so much breakage with my lashes where it's completely noticeable that my lashes are extra short in certain areas. I understand that each person is different, but Dawn gave me no instruction of aftercare, maintenance, unless I prompted her. It was like pulling teeth. Now I have to wait until my lashes are grown back to normal and then I'll get extensions through my regular girl read more

I had a bad experience. Went in for a lash lift, by Tera. One eye didn't lift at all. I explained that my lashes are hard to curl but the technician totally ignored that information. Very expensive $135 plus $15 tip. Which I was reluctant to leave. They did offer to redo my right eye but I declined because it had to be done within a week and I felt like- if it would have done right the first time then I wouldn't have to waste time and gas. Helen is super patient and great to work with. I've only ever had my lashes done three times so when I chose the lush set, I didn't really understand what I was getting myself into. Helen did HUGE mega eyelashes on me that most girls probably strive for, but it was way too much for me. After a day of trying to get used to my new lashes, the salon texted me to see how I was doing and were able to get me back in to tone them down to a more natural look for me. Very great customer service and hassle free. Also, I really like the quality of the glue they use. Absolutely no irritation(I'm pretty sensitive) and the lashes have stayed in well. The only thing I'd change is I'd love to have them offer silk lashes and a little consultation beforehand about the look you like or don't like would also be helpful. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I started out getting my lashes done by a place down the street from my house that said they were lash certified. At first it wasn't bad but as time went on my lashes got so bad! When I asked for volume the lady started putting on clumps of lashes to one lash which made my lashes sag because they got so heavy. My mom would tell me it looked like I had feathers on my eyes. My eyes would burn all the time and my real eyelashes were falling out. I looked for places that could help fix my lashes but everyone told me I needed to get them off and probably be done with lashes for good. I hated the idea of that because even though I had terrible looking lashes, I at least had lashes and I knew if I got them off, my lids would be bald. Finally I found Aubrey and contacted her with my problem. She got back to me almost immediately and met with me so she could see what could be done. She didn't shy away from the fact that my lashes were awful like everyone else. I went in, got the lashes off, and came back the next day to have her lash me. With little and very thin lashes left, I was amazed at how good they look after Aubrey had lashed me. My lashes looked amazing and there was no burning or hurting like my other ones. I have now been with Aubrey for about 8 months now and SHE HAS SAVED MY LASHES. All of my thin and broken off lashes have turned into my regular full and long lashes I had before my bad lash experience. She is truly amazing and knows what she is talking about. I recommend her to everyone who asks me about my lashes. Also if anyone is concerned about the price, take it from someone who wanted to go with the cheaper option... It's much better to pay for higher priced lashes then cheap ones that will break off all your lashes. If you ask me, for Aubrey's work, she charges a very very good price. She is truly great!! I'm obsessed with my eyelashes now that I got the luscious set by Anne @ Lashes by Aubrey! She was accommodating from the very beginning, making sure I was comfortable because I was going to be laying there for a few hours. She asked if I wanted to have music playing, and since I didn't want to be laying in silence, I said yes. & the playlist she had going on made me feel relaxed and ultra feminine. The process was painless and it was easy to nap and doze off. When the whole process was over, Anne let Aubrey inspect her work and I was good to go! I kept getting compliments from my coworkers and getting ready for work got so easier now that my 3 minute mascara process is over with. --- 5 weeks later, my real eyelashes grew out but some extensions from the first set was still there! It still looked awesome. I get compliments on my lashes even 5 weeks after. I wanted a more full set so I booked again with Anne for my re-fill and the process is a bit shorter. Getting an appointment was quick and easy and she even mentioned that she had a groupon to save me money on my first set.. Bonus! Solid 5. These girls know what they are doing. Came in yesterday as a model with Dawn (their newest technician in training.) The studio is super cute and the ambiance is on point. One thing I do have to say though, it did smell a bit like a dental office. I guess you can say it smells clean? lol They make you sign and read a very length wavier , but it saves them from any future lawsuits or complaints. (smart) There is a waiting area with a couch and two very cute looking chairs. They play upbeat recent music which is a plus. Dawn came and greeted me and took me into her room. Another thing I did not like was the rooms had no doors so you can hear other conversations from across the hallway. Onto the lashes.... Dawn had removed some of my old existing lashes before she started lashing. Ann and another technician were in and out of the room to assist Dawn, but gave her lots of space to do the actual lashing. I can tell that they are really good teachers because they actually teach and not scowled their workers. It gives their training technicians confidence in their work. The lashing process took about two hours since she is still training. The girls in the studio are very welcoming and sparked good convos. Thank you Dawn for lashing me up!!! I found Aubrey through Instagram while I was looking for an artist to do my ombré powder brows. I decided to book with her after looking more into her and her work. When arriving to my appointment I was extremely nervous but Aubrey reassured me and made sure that I liked how she mapped my brows before starting to tattoo.
