I went in for a full wet set this past Saturday and I had foreign lashes on. They don't do refills with foreign lashes, so I had to get a new set. The gel that was used on me to remove my lashes caused severe burning and itching. Cindy proceeded with the removal of the lashes and new set of lashes, but the entire time I was uncomfortable and irritated because of the burning. When we were finished with the new set, Cindy suggested a lash bash to "calm down the burning and itching" but it only made matters worse. I went home and my swelling, puffiness, irritation, and burning got worse. I had to go see a doctor and missed work because I didn't know when the swelling would go away. I asked for a refund or at least for half of the money back, but they refused. I personally feel that I should have been able to get some money back at least since this was a very disappointing and dangerous situation. I won't be coming back to this studio. They've ripped me off before as well. They've charged me unreasonably for other times. I'm done here. read more

Just moved to the bay the beginning of the year and I've tried about 7 different artists... None I really loved until I came to Anne (Phuong) at Lashed Eyelash Studio. I drive about an hour (one way) to see her every few weeks and it's totally WORTH IT!!! I usually get fills every 2.5 weeks but with Anne's fills, I go every 3.5 weeks. She puts them on in a way where it lasts once your lash grows out. The lashes that she uses are also more curly and STAYS curly even after weeks of washes. My lashes are also NEVER damaged, they never stick together and they never bug me so I don't find myself picking at them. I am in love with my lashes every time I leave. WOW! I have never gotten my lashes done before, but I loved the "natural look" aspect of a lash lift. I saw their studio pop up on instagram and just knew I had to give them a try. My lash tech, Diana, was sooo freaking nice and I could tell she loves what she does (she got magic hands fr). As a newbie, she really made sure that I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. The whole session was so relaxing and I was out the door within an hour! I've been going to Anne for close to a year and a half now so she is officially my lash go-to girl. I explained to her once exactly what I wanted (noticeable but natural) and she delivers every single time. The longest I've gone between refills was close to a month and most of my lashes were still in tact. Anne is so good at what she does! I've been going here for over 2 years now and I used to get classic, but after she did volume on me last year... I've never done classics again! Classics are nice but i love mine dramatic and full. Anne has never missed a single lash (always checking her work) and makes me feel comfortable every visit. Normally I'm supposed to get fills every 4-6 weeks but i can honestly go on until 8 weeks and they're still very full. I love that she recommends what's best for me and my eye shape. and since I have lashes and eyes that droop down, she's able to make it look sexy and so awake! LOVE! Waking up like this. Aubrey does perfect work. I've searched high and low and have had my lashes done for years before I found Aubrey. I've been Aubrey's client for almost a year now. At most places, my lashes start to look sad after about two weeks. At LBA, my appointments are every 4 weeks and even then it usually doesn't look sad. Even nearing the 4th week my lashes never look wonky. She is priced higher than many places, but you definitely get what you pay for. Because of how busy and in demand she is, both her pricing and policies make sense. She is kind and flexible when I need to change my appointment and I've never had any problems. I really enjoyed my lash experience with Aubrey. I did the classic lush based on her recommendation after I described what I was looking for. She actually knows what "natural" style means :). Many of these artists are so used to wearing heavy lashes and heavy make up that their definition of natural becomes very different than the average person. The lashes were beautiful and they lasted close to TWO months!! I was so pleased. I also appreciate that Aubrey is running her own business and I love to support women owned businesses. The second appointment I had with Aubrey was cancelled because she had an emergency. I totally understand that, after all, life events happen. I was grateful that a colleague of hers was able to take me in. While the lashes were good, they were not great. I asked that she follow the same formula that Aubrey used and it seemed like whatever paperwork they had that documented the type and style of lash maybe wasn't available. It concerned me and made me wonder if that was the reason the lashes didn't come out like Aubreys. I now tried to make a third appointment with Aubrey but was told her business is growing/getting busier and she no longer takes classic lush full set eyelashes. I've always heard negative things about eyelash extensions, but my friends convinced me to try this place. My main concern was not being able to wash my face.... but guess what? You can (after 24-hrs) and you NEED to! I booked an appointment with a student/junior artist, Diana. I was really nervous but she talked me through all my concerns. My first appointment took 2 hrs (make sure you use the bathroom, lol). I was tired and SO relaxed, I ended up taking a nap. Now I look forward to my refills because of those lash naps. I'm never leaving these girls unless they kick me out! Anne has been my go-to girl for the past 1.5yr -going on 2yrs- I believe! I gave Anne a try and have been hooked since! I started coming to Anne because my old lash lady had left the industry and I was in dire need of some help. I was trying out a few other lash places and ended up with 1) red eyes, 2) swollen lids for a few days after my fill, and 3) going in for fills every 2-3 weeks. Got my lashes lifted here last week and they look SO good! My lashes are naturally very straight and used to uncurl after an hour or so, getting wieghed down by mascara. After getting my lashes lifted at Lashed, I now no longer need to curl in the morning. I just need to apply a coat of mascara and my lashes stay curled all the time!! I've been getting my eyelash extensions here for a couple months now, and let me tell you.. I am obsessed! Ever since I got my first set with Desiree, I have been coming every 2-3 weeks for fills. Having my extensions save so much time when I get ready and I love that people always compliment them! I've been getting light sets and it is still very noticeable and natural-looking. I have been getting lash extensions on and off for the past few years, and throughout that time I've been to a few pretty good lash techs, and some not so great. January of this year I made the mistake of putting my trust into a new lash tech who had been lashing for probably only a few months. My experience was horrible from beginning to end, and I left with my lashes heavier looking and feeling than I had expected. Guess that's what I get for not doing enough research... I found Lashed on IG and was able to get an appt in with Jordan. When I came in, Cindy who works the front desk greeted me and had me sign some paper work, offered me water. And we shared a short conversation on my current lashes, which I wasn't happy with and was the reason I decided to come to Lashed. Cindy informed me that I could get a fill instead of a full removal because she disclaimed to me that if I got a removal, I might have to come back since their removal gel had oils that wouldn't properly stick to the lashes. I appreciated her informing me of that, and we agreed that we would see the status of my lashes up close to see what could be done. When I got to Jordan's area, she and another artist, I believe her name was Anne but wasn't sure because my eyes were already closed, they saw how damaged my lashes had gotten and how clumped they were from the last girl I went to. There were multiple gaps in my left eye.. They told me that they could remove the really bad parts and do a fill, or they could do a removal and have me come back another time when my lashes were healed/grown out more. I asked their opinion based on my situation and they suggested to just get them removed and take a break for a couple weeks and come back, and I agreed. Even though I didn't leave with a new set of lashes, I was so happy. Why? Because I appreciated the amazing care and service I had just received from everyone I came into contact with at this establishment. When the time came for my appt for a full set this past Wednesday, I got the same great warm welcome and care I had received when I first came in and that means a lot to me. Jordan did a great job on my lashes!! The next day when I went into work I got multiple compliments on my lashes and that's always a great feeling. Her work is impeccable and she is always on time. The office is cute and quite clean. All of the technicians wash their hands before work and wear masks.
