I was in the Broward Mall this past Saturday 10/19/19 and noticed that Lashes and Go had opened, I needed to get my eyebrows threaded because my lady was out of town and saw a sign in the window that they offered for $10.00 as a special, I was kind of hesitate because I like to stick with one lady, but I gave it a shot my eyebrow tech was Belki's, it took longer than what I expected but she did take her time to make sure she get my eyebrows correct the way I explained to her, she also advised me of some of their services that they also offer, there are also memberships that you can subscribe to save money on some services if you find beneficial I'm not one to sign up for these types of memberships. I was very pleased with my eyebrows she provided a hint of tint which I'm not a fan of, but they didn't look un-natural. Place is chic nice decor and clean. The standards for which this business holds themselves is the ultimate downfall of my experience. As any other customer would be, I was intrigued by the initial low membership rates and decided to sign up for their membership. Their rates are fair for those interested in getting lashes done for the first time especially. After my second visit, on April 10th, I had experienced irritation and had decided to call and inquire about canceling my membership on April 25th. Upon calling, the woman I spoke to simply gave me an email to contact regarding the closing of my account. I sent the email on that day. I've heard nothing in response, no automated email reply, no phone call or anything to confirm the receipt of my cancellation. However, yesterday (May 8th) I received what seemed to be a text reminder asking me to confirm my next appointment, to which I responded no and to which they asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told them no and informed them that I had submitted a request via the email provided to me, to which they did not respond. Today, (May 9th) I have received a bill for another month of the membership and I went ahead and called again. When prompted of the situation, the woman who answered the phone told me to reach out to the email that they had originally provided, to which I explained that I did almost over a month ago. She continued to try to explain to me that the charge was meant to be taken out on April 20th and perhaps it was pending in my bank account, but I had seen nothing beyond this date. About 20 minutes after this phone call, the 'automated text service' responded saying "ok we cancel your membership right now" I found the methods of communicating through texts to be unprofessional and that while they promise you that you can cancel the membership at any time, I found the whole process to be very difficult in terms of getting some type of response or progress done. I find it very unprofessional that I send my request to the provided email and receive a badly-worded text message only after the fact that I complained that it would be canceled. read more

I absolutely love this place. Not only is the decor in the place absolutely cute and instagramable but the services are really amazing! I love that they are located at Westfield Broward Mall. I love the fact that they have H&M, getting a Forever 21 and now Lashes & Go is there. That mall has really LEVELED UP with their retailers selection. read more

I was looking for a one stop shop beauty bar in my area and came across this CHIC Lash Bar. The girls were so nice, super helpful and there's a very nice All About You feeling you get when you walk in because they make it ALL ABOUT YOU.... They butchered my poor brows and covered up the mess with tint, which is why at first I thought they did a good job. Turns out a few days to a week after the dye faded I was missing a chunk from the beginning of my right eyebrow (along with other areas but this being the most upsetting). I also didn't like that I was told I HAD to sign the photo consent form, and one of the lady's made me feel pressured to do get more procedures done like lashes (which I had to continually decline)... you could tell they really just want your $$$. I'm not sure I've ever written a review let alone a bad one but I felt compelled seeing as how upset I am walking into my graduation with jacked up brows :( read more

My friend and I made an appointment here because our eyebrow girl was on maternity leave... omg. I'm pretty sure the women threading her eyebrows was threading for the first time. She literally stopped every second along the line instead of threading consistently in a straight line. I watched her do my friends and take off 1/4 of her eyebrow. She clearly did not know what she was doing. She then asked to just fill in what she mistakenly took off with a pencil... like it was no big deal. I had an anxiety attack and walked out... I had a membership and decided to cancel because of my last visit. The technician that normally did my lashes left the day before my appointment and I wasn't notified. I was then seen by a new person for my refill and she did a horrible job. I ask to speak with the manager and she didn't acknowledge the fact that my lashes were horrible. After 2 hours her solutions was to take them off and start over which would have been another 2 hours. As a result , I had to remove the lash and left without anything she offered to redo the lashes but I refused because of the poor customer service. I decided to give this place a try and it was the worst experience. Please do yourself a favor & go to a professional that's been in business for a while AND guarantees your lashes will stay on for more than 3 days! The lady that did my lashes was very nice but obviously not good at her job. I asked for super long lashes (not a natural look) she said no problem and after 2 hours I looked like I didn't even have mascara on! I had never seen such lack of respect for a customer. I had an appointment at 10am with Stephanie. I was brought in the room promptly, was prepped by the technician (I wish I would've gotten her name), and was told the numbing cream was going to stay on my brows 30-35mins (same as it did last time I came)..... By 10:30am, the technician came to inform me that Stephanie was going to get there in 15mins.... 20mins later, I went out and asked what was going on!!! They got on the phone with Stephanie and I was told she was still 20 minutes away!!!!!!!!!! While she's on the phone, Stephanie asked the technician to tell me that the numbing cream is supposed to be in there for an hour.... by this time is 10:55 and she was still on the road... I asked the technician to wipe the cream off and left upset. What put me over the edge was, my mom was her next client at 12noon.... Stephanie had the nerve to tell my mom that she was about to call her so she could come earlier because her last client (ME) didn't want to wait an hour for the numbing cream to work. Talk about lack of ownership and just bluntly lying!!!!!!!!!!! I came back at around 1:15 to meet my mom and she didn't even have the decency to come to apologize. I confronted her and all I got was excuses, apparently she didn't do anything wrong. She just turned around when I wasn't agreeing with her and that was the end of the conversation. It is sad how businesses hire all these people that make them look bad and be ok with it. Stephanie showed lack of respect, lack of character, and, bluntly speaking, lack of giving a shit for the customer!!!!!! It was supposed to cost $79 and I got duped! I asked for the most natural lashes and the woman offered me either 2d or 3D lashes and showed me the two types. I chose the 2d...when I went to pay she charged me $118! I confronted her and she said she told me but SHE HAD NOT. I am so annoyed I feel like she just gave herself a Christmas bonus. My (white) friend went there to inquired about a lash position, we both are in Esthetician school together and will finish at the same time. She has no experience doing lashes and I have been doing lashes for almost a year and certified. I went there (I'm black) to inquire about the position and she clearly said to me that I have to be licensed and she gave my friend the position and will be training her. I have gotten my lashes and my eyebrows done here and each visit I was treated with respect and like family. My eyebrows came out incredible and the lashes were so glamorous. Now I feel comfortable going out without make up! That is how great my eyebrows came out! The owner was a fantastic teacher to the new staff and really knows her stuff.
