We had been discussing throughout the massage that my knee is injured (Torn meniscus, arthritis, no cartilage) and that I couldn't fully straighten it without discomfort. At the very end, after she wrapped my feet in warm towels, she grabbed my leg and pulled ( traction) and it really hurt. I yelped out loud. She just sort of left the room. It completely ruined the massage, because now my knee was hurting. I said something to her once I came out of the room and she was there to greet me. I told her that she probably didn't mean to hurt me, but she did. No apology, she just told me to "take care" and hurried off. I'm a long time massage therapist and I would never have treated a client that way. Very disappointing to pay all that $$ and leave upset. I really enjoy the wellness lounge, though. I was even happier when I left with a beautiful natural glow! I went back for another cryofacial plus a chemical peel from Lynn. I have attached my before and after pictures (no make up for either obv). I was nervous about being blotchy and red which I have heard is common right after chemical peels but again, Lynn did not disappoint! No redness, just a clear glow that even my boyfriend noticed (he's your typical guy who wouldn't even notice if I shaved my head). I did have a bit of trouble finding it because the numbers are hard to see. Once inside you're greeted by lovely clean smells and a bright interior. Everyone is super friendly and I love how they never push their products they sell in house (though they do have a great line, PCA and Jane Iredale). Anyways, go there if you want to treat yourself to a self care day and you'll leave feeling and looking amazing.
