She paid a lot of attention to making sure my brows looked the best they could. I have less dense eyebrow hairs but thicker brows surface area wise, so when I ask for a natural look and "cleaned up" it typically ends up thin, but she made sure that every step of the way I felt comfortable with the shape and thickness. She knew what she was doing. Sadly, whoever is doing brows now does not meet that same standard. My experience was so upsetting I had to cover my eyebrows with bangs (which I don't even like!) and spent over $80 just to hide the damage. When I spoke with the owner, I wasn't offered a refund--just castor oil and the reassurance that "they'll grow back." That's not acceptable when it comes to something as important and visible as your face. If you're thinking about getting your brows done here, study the technician's own eyebrows first. If they don't look clean, even, or professional--walk away. I won't be returning for brow services unless the original brow artist comes back. I don't have anything too extravagant done to my brows, just a clean up and sometimes tinted. I have always preferred threading over waxing, I feel like it lasts longer, and the results look better. Shila's location on Rainbow is very convenient for me, especially being right by Massage Envy so I can have a self-care day :) I took off a star, for only a few reasons. One is the price increase. I get it, the way costs are right now a lot of places are. However, the very reasonable cost made Sheila's Eyebrows stand out more over the rest before. If you have an appointment, this should be prioritized over any walk-ins that come after you. Common sense right? Sometimes they are so busy they overlook who came in before who and don't even look at the sign-in sheet to see if you have an appointment. There was only one time I was disappointed with my eyebrows after having them threaded here. Just imagine your eyebrows cut short in half. I learned a lesson, find the girls that do a great job and stick with them. I also came a couple of months ago, and one of the girls was very rude. She had a frown the whole time, didn't say thank you, I am not even sure why I tipped her, she was so ungrateful. With all of that being said, I highly recommend Shila and Sarah.
