They have really tasty and fresh tea drinks! My favorites are House Green Milk Tea with Xiancao Jelly, and the new drink, Oolong Milk Tea! They have an extensive selection too! Very nice staff (super helpful and friendly) and a lot of interesting tea flavors. This place is definitely authentic. Some bubble tea places focus on the more fruity flavors and kind of "sno-coney" drinks (which I actually prefer), but this place is a lot more about the TEA part of bubble tea. read more

Best bubble tea in town! My favorites are the fresh grapefruit, green tea latte, and ginger milk tea. The boba is especially delicious here, but I love the selection you can get, red bean is delicious in milk teas. The only downside is the long wait. They need more staff, rather than having just one person on the till and making drinks. read more

I went into Latea this evening for my Caramel Macchiato. The staff were polite, very personable, and my drink was delicious! I either get that or the Mango Black Tea. The staff go out of their way to make sure you the customer are satisfied with your drink or food item. My family loves the parmesan fries & sweet potato fries. Every time I have been there it has been a very positive experience. The drink prices are fair & it's nice to sit there & visit. The Lemon Tart is delicious! I highly recommend visiting. read more

My favorite bubble tea place of all time and luckily it is in my city! This place takes tea seriously- it's not one of those cheesy, artificial, super sweet places. This place has plenty of great teas, but a word of caution: if you get a milk tea, always ask what milks are available because the default "milk" is a nondairy creamer. Most nondairy creamers are full of hydrogenated oils (trans fats), and can cause artery blockages, which I would prefer to avoid while still enjoying a cup of boba tea. read more

Loved seeing how much this place has grown over the years from the delivery-only service to the store they have now! They are always expanding with new items and services, I think most recently they added lemonade and now they have a new shiny rewards card and system. Latea is the best Boba place in West Lafayette, or even in the Midwest area. I had numerous different milk teas, tea drinks, or specialty drinks and they never disappoint. Top tier boba tea at Purdue, Indiana, and arguably the Midwest. As someone who has tried boba tea from many places within the Midwest and beyond, I would say LaTea is definitely towards the top of my favorite list. They have a large selection of teas and allow a large amount of customization from flavor, sweetness, what goes in, and more! I am not one to leave reviews generally but I love Latea and I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is friendly and fast. I never feel that the waiting time is excessive or unreasonable. The drinks are wonderful and you can customize them to an extent. I don't like for my drinks to be super sweet and therefore I'm very grateful that I can make my drinks half sweet if I wish. The rose milk tea is my favorite and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to try something a little different. Another thing that I would like to talk about is the ambiance. The decorations are really nice and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing. Also, it's rarely (if ever) dirty. I don't think that I have ever seen trash, dirt or spills here (even when it's busy). If you like the smell of deep fried food whenever you are drinking tea then this is the tea shop for you. They have deep fried cheesecake and fries. Not the best tea pairing. I highly recommend "Hi tea" which tastes much better and has a really nice owner! read more

This is definitely my favorite place for boba on/near Purdue's campus. They put a ton of boba in my drink, which is a huge deciding factor for me when it comes to choosing where to get boba. Also, they have a ton of unique flavors and a huge menu with many levels of customization. I usually get the house milk tea or the green house milk tea but I recently tried the bouquet milk tea and it was freakin amazing. Their drinks do take a long time to come out, especially on weekend evenings when there's a big rush, but it's worth the wait. My only issue is that their campus location in the Union is a huge bummer - the drinks are more expensive, they put in a fraction of the usual amount of boba, and the drinks just do not taste is good as at their main location. I would love to see an improved location on campus because I would definitely go there frequently! Getting to their off-campus location is difficult for me because I don't have a car, so I don't get to go as much as I would like. read more
