Very generous portions with flavorful entrees! I highly recommend the chaufa! We also tried one of the boiled potato appetizers which were okay and the empanada was pretty good. As far as drinks, the sangria is a must! There's plenty of seating inside for various part sizes. The Our server was friendly. Parking can be challenging since there isn't a dedicated parking lot. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would return.

Came here on a friday evening. Ordered the salmon with rice and beans, with a side of tostones and sweet plaintain. My sister ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. Everything was really good and tasted high quality. Our waiter was very nice and attentive as well.

Easily my favorite diner experience this year so far and would have been a 5 star review if parking was a little bit less stressful and I wasn't the biggest fan of dessert. It was my first it was my first time in the food was absolutely delicious while seasoned you could tell it wasn't microwavable food. You could literally see the fire in the kitchen in the back amazing. I had the fish. I'm still wondering what kind of fish it is to this day. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back very popular well-known spot in railway so the race is flavorful. The drinks are good 10/10 recommend visit if you're in the area.

Came here with work place associates whom I actually work with. This place came highly recommended by one of them and I agree that this place is good. We shared a ceviche, some seafood thing that came with stewed rice, and a bistec with hawgauinna sauce. I don't know how to spell it and I'm too lit to look it up. But, is some creamy yellow sauce. it's like Peruvian Alfredo sauce but with more flavor. I think we got a good blend of food. Maybe a serving of pollo al brasa or beef heart would have rounded out the food square. For dessert we shared purple corn drink but jello style. I was asking in my broken Spanish if they did mazza mora con arrow con leche but at that time I kept asking if they did half half. The waitress was nice enough to politely said no they didn't have ride pudding at the time. This place is legit. it got the seal of real real Peruvian restaurant by real Peruvian was when I saw the mural of llames at one of the bathroom. Cc accepted. lock your doors when you street park. not Paterson dangerous but Rahway safe.

The place. Even the entrance is inviting.

This restaurant is a gem. The food was so delicious and the flavors were just perfect. The presentation of the food was inviting and when we tasted it it hit the spot. If you are in the area, stop by and enjoy a delicious meal. The restaurant is clean, it has a nice atmosphere. Our server was attentive, and was always making sure we were ok. Very friendly.

The quality of food is excellent as you can see from my picture of my large portioned soup. I ordered Chupe de Mariscos, a seafood chowder containing onions, milk, cheese, egg, corn, carrots. The seafood Includes shrimp, mussels, crab, octopus & calamari. Chicha Morada a Peruvian mixture of water, dark corn, cinnamon, pineapple and cloves. A nice treat. Staff keeps the place clean. Prices reasonable Server Franklin was attentive. My one critique is less "arroz" in the Chupe.

Great evening to go have dinner with the family, got a reservation for table for 7ppl. We arrived 630pm, had a bit of difficult tome finding parking. Our waiter Christian was very attentive, friendly and polite. We order appetizers Jalea ( lightly fried assorted seafood fish, mussels, fried yuca, squid and sweet potato with a side of pickled red onions, papas huancaina, seafood ceviche. Just about everyone on the table order bistec a lo pobre. This is a good size steak med rear, with sweet plantains, French fries, rice And a sunny side up egg on top, dam is good. Others ordered skirt steak with the green spaghetti, which is tasty and the meat is well seasoned. Cant go wrong with either one. This restaurant is always busy and now they have expanded the dinning room so there are more tables. Great spot for a family dinner.

Food and service were great but the ambiance was not. We would have ordered more food, and stayed for dessert and coffee had it not been so obnoxiously noisy.

1/4 rotisserie chicken with white rice and beans

Located in Rahway on Irving Street, one of my colleagues ordered from this establishment for an in-house potluck event, and the food was delicious. Today I placed online from Sabor Peruano, which was easy, and decided on 1/4 rotisserie chicken with white rice and beans. Remarkably, the food was delivered a bit earlier than the scheduled time by Door Dash. The food arrived hot, well packaged, rich in flavor, and tasted delicious. The portion was spot on and the price comparable to the area. I could recommend this place and am hoping next time to dine in.

I placed an online order through Slice for pickup. I set the pickup time way in advance to so that it would be a quick pick up for me since I needed to be somewhere right after. I arrived 15 mins late for the pick up time that I selected, but they did not have it. They didn't even start making it. So, I ended up sitting there while they made it. It was a slight inconvenience, but I will say that the food was delicious. Everything was seasoned well and it was the right temperature. Because I enjoyed the food so much, I figured I would give them a second chance to "redeem" themselves, and friends, they did it! It's a country where its…read morerich culture also shines through its internationally acclaimed exquisite cuisine, which has only recently exploded onto the international culinary stage. It is among the most generous and deeply rooted, with traditions reaching back to the Incas, a wealth of beautiful indigenous ingredients and culinary influences from Spain, Japan, Italy, Africa and China. Jersey is home to a wealth of Peruvian restaurants, found largely in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties. Passaic itself is home to the largest Peruvian immigrant population in the Garden State. Like food everywhere today, there is a new style of Peruvian cuisine emerging--so-called nueva comida--forged by Lima's leading chefs like Gaston Acurio and Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. Situated on a busy N Wood Avenue in Linden, some of my colleagues came to this establishment for lunch after a three-year hiatus. A reservation was made by calling into Stancia Peruvian Fusion Restaurant. Upon arrival, our table was ready inside a modern, well-decorated space with music blasting like a lounge to evoke a summer celebratory vibe. The menu is a bit fancier than other Peruvian eateries. We began with a jar of their homemade drink, Chicha Morada, made of purple corn, pineapple, lime, cinnamon and cloves described as fruity and tangy. As appetizers to share, we decided on Piqueo Stancia, Chalaquitas de Scallops, Calamar Frito, and Mini Papas-Rellenas. As the main dish, we opted for Pescado A Lo Macho (Corvina), Quinoa Chaufa with Scallops, Tacu Tacu con Lomo Saltado, Quinoa Chaufa with Shrimps, Quinoa Chaufa with Salmon, Tacu Tacu with Chicken, Pachamanca, and Arroz Chaufa de Pollo. Complimentary roasted corn accompanied the aji verde spicy hot green sauce that started our meal. Each dish is a work of art, not just in presentation but in the authentic flavor not too overpowering, it remained exquisite with a sizeable portion. This restaurant continues to impress us every time with their consistency and good customer service. Stancia has incredible food and a beautiful space, two things many restaurants struggle to get right. All boxes checked.

From the moment you walk in, the welcoming staff and excellent service set the tone for a great dining experience. The portions are generous, too! We kicked off our meal with the "Trio Causa," a traditional layered potato dish seasoned with ají amarillo and lime, filled with chicken, tuna, and seafood, topped with pickled onions. It was super yummy! For the main course, we had the Arroz Chaufa, a seafood stir-fry rice dish that stole the show. This dish is loaded with seafood- crab, large shrimp, mussels, and calamari, enough to easily share among 2-3 people. We also tried the Lomo Saltado, and wow! I honestly thought I was eating steak. I ordered the chupe de camarones (shrimp chowder soup). I cannot stress enough how big this bowl of soup is. They do not skimp on the shrimp! It's probably one of the best chupes I've ever had. I ended up taking a large container of it home. Recently I had a hankering for a Rotisserie chicken and some Maduros so I decided to make a special trip. Pasion has its own parking lot (but I wound up parking in the Dollar Tree lot next door since I went shopping there too). Pasion is not the...most elegant looking restaurant. It looks rather old and aged (I do not know what year it actually opened). It's also oddly dim inside. Most of the interior is dedicated to seating and the counter where you order is towards the back. There is a bathroom off to the side. I ordered my food from a very nice lady and it came out rather quickly. When I got home I was surprised to find the chicken cut in a rather...rustic fashion. I'm used to rotisserie chickens cut into four, equal sized pieces but this was cut up into six pieces of varying sizes. Sadly, the chicken was rather dry but the green sauce that came with it was super tasty and spicy so dipping it into the sauce helped a lot. The Maduros were...not great. They had a bit of an oily taste to them that I've never tasted in Maduros before. It wasn't very pleasant. Based on other reviews here this place seems to have its fans and that's cool. This is a mom and pop business and I believe in supporting local businesses. I'm glad I tried this place, but I likely won't be gong back.
