Let us also note how when we asked for the check, mind you, it was not busy (lol), it took several reminders from us. When we finally got the check, she instantly showed us the additional tip screen. It's insane that this place is rated so high. The food was very much average - not terrible but definitely not amazing. Presentation was okay but very much overrated and overpriced... the picanha and the salmon were ~ 30 each. I'm a small individual and yet the steak was not even enough to fill me up. If you are in a dire need for food and are okay with waiting a decent bit of time with virtually no service, feel free to stop by here. Stop by to try this place today because I walked by all the time and the menu is very attractive. Location is OK in typical vibe for the outdoor eating on the street. The overlap at 2 PM between two drinks for the price of one and the brunch menu was very attractive. So why not? I'd read the reviews of others before coming here and people seem to love it or hate it. Unfortunately, I'm on Team Meh. Quick summary would be below average food cooked poorly at extremely high prices. Two light meals, and one round of two for one drinks for $80 come with high expectations. If I had come with low expectations, they would not even have achieved that. To put it into context, I asked the waiter what he would recommend from the brunch menu and he said the burgers were excellent. I looked at the menu and it said 8 ounce burgers with a variety of different toppings. I ordered the Gorgonzola burger. I expected a big juicy burger, considering this is a steakhouse, with nice fresh toppings. The toppings I got were good but not exciting and the blue cheese they used did not have the familiar taste of Gorgonzola. The burger was a flat patty, which clearly didn't even weigh a quarter of a pound, which was overcooked like a hockey puck and had the flavor of a fast food burger. Not even a good fast food burger. toppings were pretty good ut lacked balance and unfortunately did nothing to mask the awful taste of the meat. And even with the bacon (did not see or taste any), onions (overcooked), blue cheese and barbecue sauce, there was not enough food to satisfy my appetite and I am leaving hungry. We ordered two drinks and the drinks weren't bad. They were generous pours and were tasty and well worth the two for one price and actually a bargain for Miami Beach. So if I can leave with one good recommendation for those who want to, stop by for drinks when it's two for one. I'm sure you would be satisfied. My wife had the chicken and waffles. I didn't taste them, but the waffles look like eggos but smaller. She said they tasted good and then said.middling. At over $20 she should be saying they were great. All in all if they can't get a small meal like this right, I'm not coming here for $150 steak. There are a lot of restaurants on the Lincoln Road mall, including another churrascaria. I personally would not waste my time or money on this one. Sidenote: the waiter Camilo was excellent. He took great care of us and even brought water for our dog. read more

You already know, Brazilian cheese breads are out-of-this-world addicting. You mix cheese AND bread? You've just made 90% of the American population happy. I would suggest if you can, always sit outside (if you can endure the humidity). Our server provided excellent service to her ability and always kept a smile on her face while dealing with these challenges. So my husband, friend, and I just left this place and it was spectacular. Our waitress, Lana, was fantastic. She was super sweet, attentive, accommodating, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the whole time. She even changed the music to our taste when we requested (There weren't many people dining because we were there close to 12 midnight on a Tuesday). The ambiance was really pretty too...very moody, trendy, and clean. Let's talk about the food now. So for appetizers we had the chicken croquetas, fried calamari, and tuna tartare. The chicken croquetas were so cute! They were shaped almost like giant strawberries, but most importantly it was delicious. The calamari was fried to perfection, crunchy not chewy, and tasted fresh. I don't like tartare or fish so i can't comment as to how good it was, but my husband loved it. For our main dish we decided to share a mixed barbecue. That dish offers different types of meats cooked to your preferred temperature and is offered as a dish for 1 or a dish for 2. We decided to all share the 'for 2' portion. Everything was cooked properly and to the temperature we asked for and it was soooooooo good!! All the meats were juicy and flavorful! I do have to warn anyone that wants to order this dish and a 'for 2' portion...its ALOT of meat. This is great to split between 4 people. It was 3 of us and we couldn't eat it all! I have a feeling that a 'for 1' portion would be great to share between 2 people. We ordered 3 sides of black beans and white rice, one for each of us. We also ordered lemon drop martinis and they were wonderful as well. This place is on the very expensive side, but considering all the equally priced restaurants on Española Way, this one is actually worth the money since you're getting a giant plate of pure quality meats (if you order the mixed barbecue, of course).
