Wow! This place is amazing! From the moment we arrived, I knew we had found something special. The staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming. They seated us right away, gave a great rundown of the menu, and promptly brought our drinks. The place is clearly a favorite in the area as it was packed with tourists and locals alike. The smells are mouth watering, the layout of the building optimized for space and also getting you seated as quickly as possible. The gyros were absolutely amazing! They were seasoned perfectly, portions generous, and hard to put down! Quite possibly my favorite gyros ever! This place is so good that we came back to back days after making a pact never to do that in PR. It's that good! If you are anywhere near this place, get here as quickly as possible. Latin Gyros was a great spot for brunch! We were seated quickly and looked over the menu. This place has an interesting restaurant layout with a staircase in the middle as you walk in. I decided on a cuban sandwich, a favorite of mine. Their cuban was absolutely delicious, warm and full of melted cheese, ham and pork. I would order it again if I were to go back! I got it with sweet potato fries that went great with the mayoketchup dip. My bf got a latte, which had that pretty latte flower art. Great tasting coffee! Perfect way to start your day. He also got the Crazy Aly, which was a cheesy dish with potatoes, eggs, chorizo and bacon. We obviously had to share a sweet french toast to round out the meal. TL;DR: their sandwiches seem good, the Cuban I had was great! Their portions are good, coffee is great as well. Overall I would recommend Latin Gyros to anyone in the area. read more

Might be the best breakfast and lunch place in all of Puerto Rico. I was here traveling and got the Philly Cheesesteak Gyro, probably the best gyro I've ever had. Then came back and we got the full breakfast and pancake breakfast. Some of the best food i have ever eaten in my life, and I've been all over the US. Totally worth a visit. Staying at Rio Mar and wanted a lunch out so we read the Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. Greeted warmly when we entered and seated immediately. Got busier as we were there. Had lamb gyro that was delicious. Authentically flavored lamb and tzatziki. Also a Greek salad with chicken (beware the curry on the chicken). We decided to try this place after reading other reviews. First time all the way from MD! Food is very tasty and service was beautiful and welcoming. We had coffee (playero) was recommended by the waitress and was very good, we even took one to go. Must have the whip cream though Our food was very good but HUGE PORTIONS! This was one of our favorite places to eat. We all had something different. My husband had the wagyu burger. 5 stars. I had the lamb gyro. 5 stars. My picky son had the Philly steak sandwich with American cheese. 5 stars. And my oldest son had the Greek pasta that was super amazing!!! Beyond 5 stars. If you want good coffee this is a great place but after that everything else was downhill.. -We expressed to the waiter that my food was cold so the waiter warmed up the entire plate including humus and tahini sauce. My lamb was extremely dry and dish had very little flavor. -the tahini sauce was not authentic and tasted like bad vanilla yogurt. -my wife had the Greek omelet which didn't have much flavor and was like over baked lasagna. She only touched the pita bread w humus. I usually do not write reviews, but feel bad for anyone spending hard earned money on this mediocre Mediterranean attempt on breakfast/lunch. read more

Incredible food and service and generous portions. Our server was Jaime, and he may be the only server we've ever had who is as passionate about their menu as he is. He was able to recommend us meals he knew we would love and I had some dietary restrictions and he made sure I was able to enjoy myself too. I really wanted to like this place as my experience in the past didn't allow me to do so. I ordered to go a Lamb and falafel gyro. The lamb Gyro was mediocre and came with cold soggy fries. My wife ordered the falafel gyro that came with the same cold soggy fries. The lamb gyro was seasoned good but the portions were small for the price we paid. My wife states her falafel was bland as the tahini-based sauce was hard to taste because of the lack of it. I realize people may rave about this place but the lamb and falafel gyros at Latin gyro feel more like a mediocre try at making these Mediterranean dishes. I guess People are giving them a "A" for effort. Maybe it was that I ordered out. Either way I'll be going elsewhere for a Gyro when traveling to PR. read more
