Wow! This place is amazing! From the moment we arrived, I knew we had found something special. The staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming. Latin Gyros was a great spot for brunch! We were seated quickly and looked over the menu. This place has an interesting restaurant layout with a staircase in the middle as you walk in. I decided on a cuban sandwich, a favorite of mine. Their cuban was absolutely delicious, warm and full of melted cheese, ham and pork. I would order it again if I were to go back! I got it with sweet potato fries that went great with the mayoketchup dip. My bf got a latte, which had that pretty latte flower art. Great tasting coffee! Perfect way to start your day. He also got the Crazy Aly, which was a cheesy dish with potatoes, eggs, chorizo and bacon. We obviously had to share a sweet french toast to round out the meal. If you want good coffee this is a great place but after that everything else was downhill.. -We expressed to the waiter that my food was cold so the waiter warmed up the entire plate including humus and tahini sauce. My lamb was extremely dry and dish had very little flavor. -the tahini sauce was not authentic and tasted like bad vanilla yogurt. -my wife had the Greek omelet which didn't have much flavor and was like over baked lasagna. I really wanted to like this place as my experience in the past didn't allow me to do so. I ordered to go a Lamb and falafel gyro. The lamb Gyro was mediocre and came with cold soggy fries. My wife ordered the falafel gyro that came with the same cold soggy fries. The lamb gyro was seasoned good but the portions were small for the price we paid. My wife states her falafel was bland as the tahini-based sauce was hard to taste because of the lack of it. I realize people may rave about this place but the lamb and falafel gyros at Latin gyro feel more like a mediocre try at making these Mediterranean dishes. I guess People are giving them a "A" for effort. Maybe it was that I ordered out. Either way I'll be going elsewhere for a Gyro when traveling to PR. read more

The worst part of this place was we only discovered it on our last day in town! This is our new absolute go-to for breakfast/brunch. I had the Greek breakfast with eggs over medium - incredible gyro meat, creamy feta, just enough greens, potatoes, hummus and tzatziki - it was a beautifully huge platter that perfectly matched my big appetite. Except the food didn't stop there...our waiter was waxing poetic on the pancakes and French toast. Soooo...we also had the pancakes - oh man, these were incredible. Just a little crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they reminded me a little of hotcakes - perfect in every way. Best pancakes I've had at a restaurant in YEARS. Except it didn't stop there, either lol...we also had the French toast!! Which was (as another Yelper summed it up) the bomb.com! Couldn't resist taking a photo of it - it was just as good as it looks! I really appreciated how much care went into the presentation of each dish, too - they were beautiful and artistic and thoughtfully plated. This isn't something I expect from a deli - it's just a step above. Luis and Johnathan (waiter - or possibly manager, if he isn't, I'm sure he will be soon - and chef) were the unsung stars of our meal. I say unsung only because it's hard to take the spotlight away from their incredible food - but they were both really just fantastic. Generous with their time, food, and hospitality, we will DEFINITELY be back for breakfast every morning of our next trip to Luquillo! read more
