Great section of VERY reasonably priced lunch entrees. The atmosphere and the service was top notch. I think it was about 4 miles from I85, and well worth the extra 8 miles it added to the trip. Best burgers we've had in a while. I'm not a fan of thin, quick cooking smash burgers so we were pleased to see nice, thick, juicy patties! This fine restaurant will give us something to look forward to, every time we pass by Auburn, in route to Atlanta, or North Carolina. It's usually just the two of us, but this trip we took my in-laws, and everybody was very happy with their choices from the extensive lunch menu. Total bill was surprisingly inexpensive.

I'd had a filling lunch so I opted for a kale and fig entrée salad (also many items had onion-stuff, so not for me with that allergy). With shredded braised Brussels sprouts, almonds, and marinated grapes, it was delicious. My son-in-law tried out the U-10 Divers scallops and he enjoyed them. These are a rarity: larger and hand-picked by divers. My daughter and grandson also enjoyed their entrées (see photos). We were comfortable, but the tables were a bit close so you had to be careful moving your chair back. Still, the cheerfulness of good companions and good food was contagious. Reservations at least a day before are a must--otherwise, you take your chances!!
