Got a cheeseburger. Asked for medium with cheese, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup. They gave me this dehydrated ass burger with two patties, hard as rubber. -3 out of 10. You'd get a better burger at McDonald's. Chicken fettuccine pesto pasta was decent. However, considering the price point, Olive Garden is probably a better option. read more

Higher end venue but friendly staff. Our waitperson was Chase and he definitely took the time to make sure my food was onion-free. I'd had a filling lunch so I opted for a kale and fig entrée salad (also many items had onion-stuff, so not for me with that allergy). With shredded braised Brussels sprouts, almonds, and marinated grapes, it was delicious. My son-in-law tried out the U-10 Divers scallops and he enjoyed them. These are a rarity: larger and hand-picked by divers. My daughter and grandson also enjoyed their entrées (see photos). We were comfortable, but the tables were a bit close so you had to be careful moving your chair back. Still, the cheerfulness of good companions and good food was contagious. We came as a group of 3 with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was named Hattie and she did an amazing job to accommodate our group. She recommended the drink called "the Marylin" and it was amazing. The food arrived to the table fresh and hot appropriately 15 after ordering. The only hiccup is that the shrimp scampi was a little bland and the broccoli cheddar soup was a little too salty other than that we had a great time. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and the vibe and atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in town visiting in the area!! read more

Amazing Grill. The restaurant is owned by Hamilton's which has 2 of the best restaurants in the Auburn area. It's a perfect place to take a date or conduct a business meeting. The menu has so many tasty option, and we decided on the Scallops and Fillet. The Scallops were cooked to perfection, but the mashed potatoes were cold...our waitress apologized, but it in no way spoiled an amazing culinary experience. We also ordered the Fillet, and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The wait service was on point and the wine was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! read more

Aileen and I needed a get away from the normal eateries around Auburn, and we both were burned out with cooking ourselves. I'm sure we are not along in looking for something better. In looking for something better in my Yelp search I came across the One Forty Grill on College Street. We both knew where it was, but never tried it. We came in through the back from a parking area, and was greeted by a young lady with a big smile who helped us to a table and took our beverage order. The sling-back was perfect, and I had to catch my breath! Aileen had a Stella served cold. The lunch menu was slim, but impressive. We both had the chicken salad sandwich mine with shoe string potatoes, Aileen substituted for a salad. Both the fries and salad side were delicious, the fries were plentiful, crisp and melted in my mouth. Oh, so good. Aileen loved her salad full of fresh vegetables. The Chicken salad sandwich on toast was the best I've ever had. A simple lunch, was more than lunch, we loved it. The ambiance, dark but nice, the service was always with a smiling pleasing face, and the food was over the top. We will be back soon for dinner!!! read more

Went at 5 on an away game Saturday and was met with a very nice atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. We started with the double dipper, the guacamole actually had flavor and didn't need to be fixed up at the table after being served and the pimento dip with pepper jelly on top was delicious as well! All of our meals were excellent, my favorite being the chicken pesto fettuccine and the salmon. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the seasonings on it were great. While I didn't try the cheeseburger or the wedge salad that my family ordered, it looked delicious and received great reviews from them. read more

I'm not sure why this review site says that I'm from SoMa, San Francisco, CA. My husband Mike and I live in Auburn, Alabama. We recently celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary at One Forty Grill, and it was a great experience. Our appetizer, the double dip pimento cheese topped with pepper jelly, guacamole, and wonton chips was fresh and delicious. Also, my husband's filet mignon and my U-10 diver scallops were excellent. The bread pudding we shared was slap your Grandma three times good. In addition, Elle, our server, and Jonathan, one of the restaurant's managers, were outstanding. Stopped there today for a late lunch for the first time. All the food we ordered was exceptionally tasty. I ordered the burger and subbed out fries for something called corn mac choux. I think this particular item is only available seasonally but it was very tasty. It is basically a fancy creamed corn with diced jalapeno and peppers and some Cajun seasonings mixed in. I had the deviled eggs for a starter, salmon with cabbage and potatoes for main. Food was fantastic, highly recommend.

Great ambiance, food, and service. I had a martini with blue cheese olives, New York Strip with loaded baked potato which were all fantastic! My wife loved the pan seared salmon with mashed potatoes.
