After being seated the hostess got us chips and salsa while we waited to be served. 3. 30 minutes later we had not been served yet. Not even a drink order. However, 4 other tables had been seated after us and received there drinks, had there order taken , and one table was getting there food. 4. I stopped the hostess and asked who our server was. She didn't have a clue, no of the other 3 servers around our table knew, the manager didn't even know who our server was. 5. It appeared that the single bartender was overwhelmed as our drink order took longer than it should have, but we finally got our drinks. The chips and salsa were better than many other Mexican restaurants. Our food arrived quickly and looked great. Everything had great flavor. The beans that came with my meal were outstanding. Ignoring me and my thirst. Once I got served I was better. 4 But then when I ordered food to go to eat for dinner at home.... He charged a 20% tip... Saying it was the group service tax. I protested that wasn't fair or right. I paid for my drink separately with the 20% and everybody else had food there and actually had service. He had forgotten to put in my to-go order so I actually had to order and wait until after everybody had left and they had cleared the table to get my to-go order and he still charged me 20% to to go dinners. His excuse was that it was the computer and there was nothing he could do about it. I CALL BS ... Somebody who actually cared about creating a good service experience for a large group, particularly ones that many of them had never been there before. Would not arbitrarily charge 20% on it to go burrito, And not even trying to get a credit off of it to the manager. The more I think about it, the more I think I should just give him three stars.

I knew if the hot dogs looked like anything in the picture, they would be good, and they were, and I got two. Now, with the staff being so sweet and the hot dogs being so good, I returned the following day. This time I ordered the fried fish, and we got another delicious dish of shrimp and chicken. The sweet hostess, the young girl, told me I would really like my fish if it were fried hard. Well, she was so right. It came out steaming hot, and the seasoning covered the whole fish from the outside to the inside. The skin was so crispy and crunchy, I left nothing behind. Also, as you can see, I ordered the same appetizer on both days. It's a cheesy sauce with chunks of meat inside. By far, this is a favorite too. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu soon.

I ordered a California Burrito to go. I asked if they use real guacamole or guacamole dressing…read more(like some other places). They said real guacamole. A burrito lunch special is $10. A California Burrito with guacamole, lettuce, tomato and sour cream is $15. When it was time for lunch, I noticed the burrito had a smear of sour cream, and very little lettuce and tomato, and NO guacamole. I called and they said they didn't have guacamole. It's a $5 difference. Mejor avisar a los clientes cuando faltan ingredientes. The burrito was tasty. But they should let customers know if they don't have the ingredients to make what they ordered, especially if they pay extra for those ingredients.
