That's saying a lot because I am 56 years old and I have been to many B & B's in my life. First off, I want to comment on the fact that I was unable to reach anyone at the location when I was attempting to upgrade to the "Couples Package." 2 phone calls and one email were never returned..great job! The email that I sent on Friday, June 19 at 11:19 am was never returned..along with my 2 phone calls the day before. I decided to reserve the Coach Carriage Suite which was at a separate location from the main house. While walking to our suite, we noticed that the landscape in the back near our room was run-down. Apparently, weddings may have been done here at one time but it was clear by the state of the landscape that upkeep in recent times was minimal. Now let's talk about the state of our suite. I guess the thing that stood out the most was that there were alot of holes in the wall that had not been fixed. The last time the place was painted, it appeared whoever painted it was intoxicated as it looked horrible. The bed was a complete joke as It was extremely uncomfortable. We went in the bathroom and noticed that while the bathroom and shower had been sprayed with a cleaning product, the person who sprayed product never bothered to actually clean them. I have provided pictures. There was also a light that had no cover(i have provided a picture). I saved the best for last. Bed and breakfast means "breakfast too." The hours of breakfast were set from 7:30-9:00. An hour and a half, really? However, when we arrived at 8:30, almost everything was gone and there was not an employee to be found. All the dirty dishes had been piled up on a tray and it looked very "unkept." THe only food left was a couple of danishes(out of a box) and some waffle mix. My girlfriend wanted water but there was none to be found. The bananas were green. Why in the world would you put out green bananas? We had to look around to even find any plates. Of course, we could not find a single employee at the "breakfast." Breakfast is a major consideration for a "bed and breakfast" but this seemed like an after-thought for the facility. At least hotels have staff members present, food and drink available, and their quality is much better. We did talk to someone when we arrived. I told her about not being able to reach anyone. Her response was that "I think I know who it was that did not respond." No apology or taking any responsibility. This was a surprise for my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary and I was embarrassed by what I witnessed at your facility. The thing that really stuck out to me was that no one seemed to care... Shame on you. We will never be back and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

They have always been on time to take me to the airport or to pick me up - even when I arrive on flights at 5am! Their drivers are friendly and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough. There are several structures throughout the BNB, we stayed in the Pond House in the Fats Hollow Room. The room had a beautiful view of the fountain and the pond, there is even a little row boat! The large king sized bed was super comfortable and the décor in shades of blue was very soothing. The owners are incredibly hospitable to their guests and made us feel so welcome. The check in area also serves as the "dining room" for the incredible breakfast served daily. I loved the snacks, coffee and soft drinks that are available. Breakfast was a TREAT! Homemade cinnamon rolls, crunchy fresh granola and Greek yogurt then a hearty spread of delicious sausage links, thick sourdough toast, fresh fruit (cut into delightful shapes) and a brown butter omelet. So satisfying and fresh. We raved about it for a bit! (The fresh preserves were a hit also) The location is so convenient to Longwood (which we visited), wineries and restaurants. Literally perfect. Lance and Sandy, thank you for your incredible hospitality, you truly made us feel so welcome and we'd love to return someday.

Mainline vacations is a smaller travel agency that boasts helping you plan a luxury vacation. Like…read moremost travel agencies, they also state that there are incentives and benefits they can give you by booking with them instead of booking directly with a large company. We made a large group reservation of 23 people through this company for a Royal Caribbean cruise for my fathers 50th birthday. I can honestly say that it was hands down the worst customer service I've ever received. Honestly if I could give them no stars I would. Yes my family had a lot of questions because it was the first cruise for many of them. But from the beginning we were greeted with attitude, condescension, and disdain. Jane (our travel agent) frequently mixed up paper work, sending information to the wrong houses and just throwing packets together with missing documents. Outside of calling to ask questions, which shouldn't be a problem, I never did anything annoying but I personally was always treated like a burden. My aunt and I wanted upgrades for our rooms since the prices had went down and Jane could not stress enough how annoyed she was by the process. And although we were very pleased with the upgrades, she failed to mention to us BEFOREHAND that it would mean losing the room credits we were given by Royal Caribbean, as well as being kicked out of our group reservation. Without this information, we obviously weren't able to make an informed decision and put my father in jeopardy of getting a room comp, which is the birthday gift we were all hoping for. But what really prompted me to write this review was that when I called to ask some clarifying questions a week before the cruise (I still hadn't found out where my room was for example, I didn't know where the itinerary for the cruise was, and all of my family were not eating together, though we explicitly asked that we could be) and get everything settled, before I could even begin to ask a question or state my concerns, the "manager" Craig, began to raise his voice at me. He was extremely aggressive and defensive, stating that the travel agent would not be "spending anymore time with this", that "Jane had bent over backwards for 'you people'" and finally...the best part...that "next time, you should call someone else because we don't want the business". He didn't listen to me and kept asking Jane, WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE, questions, in an attempt to prove that I was wrong to call and complain at all. To be clear, I have no doubt in my mind that Craig is not a manager because his professionalism leaves much to be desired. This is my very first yelp review. That's how important this is to me. They have our money now, we are going on the cruise and we can't do anything to change the fact that we actually lost benefits versus gaining them with this travel agency. I just wanted to provide an informative review, especially since there are none for this company, to illuminate their business practices.
